ok episode 1, set in 1919 .. our hero is smuggling “semi automatic rifles”, apparently ww1 surplus. I think at this time the only such device was the mexican “Mondragon” rifle, which I dont think was used by any ww1 european army .. I always thot the first euro semi auto was the 1938 russian sks, followed by the nazi G41, obviously 1941 .. did they stuff it up? or is there some incredibly early british semi auto rifle that ive never heard of? any gun nerds out there know whats goin on here?
