i know nothing about the game or the story in general but this felt like nothing more than pointless pandering filler.
Nope. Those characters are in the game and while it’s not directly said that they’re in a relationship when Ellie is looking around their house, in the game, she finds a gay porn mag with pages stuck together. Draw your own conclusions about that. It honestly sounds like it really bothers you that some people not traditionally given a place in popular media are being represented. this would suggest that it’s more about you than the show/episode.
