This was both an amazing and extremely difficult film to watch. As I have cared for and raised parrots most my adult life, I was very interested in watching the bird rescue in India The difficult part was seeing the deplorable conditions these people have to live in; the hundreds of rats at night, the run down and cluttered buildings, the sewage that overflows into residential areas after the rains, air pollution of over 700, the hate crimes and unrest. Yet in spite of it all three men and their family take tare of and save hundreds of birds every day. They managed through funding to build the first wildlife hospital in the area. It is humbling to see the courage and dedication of these men. It is both a heartbreaking and beautiful story.
