then you don’t care to know what the word woke means — to be AWAKE to the injustice around you and not have your head in the sand. the co-opting of the word by people who are fearful of change has people using it when they mean PC or Black or LGBTQ or whatever. WOKE has been around since at least the late 70s.
I apologize, I thought the last sentence made clear I was being sarcastic. I tune in to Star Trek to see how a utopian, post-racial, post-capitalism society deals with issues that challenge their morals on whatever the current progressive popular ideas are. If Star Trek wasn’t “progressive or woke” it wouldn’t be Star Trek.
