No one is a bigger student of this period in history than I am—-but after 15 minutes or so of unfamiliar “scholars” sitting around repeatedly asking things like “What was going on here?” and “Were there deeper secrets within these walls?” and “Why build here; why???” when we know (and have) meticulous records of nearly every nasty thing the Nazis perpetrated, this falls flat as an educational piece…more like some fluff on Investigation Discovery. I’ll pass on the rest.
I agree this show is more hype than content .. but do check out ep 3, it appears to have a genuinely new discovery, one that dramatically changes the tactical map of d day .. not enuf for the nazis to win ofc :) but definitely enuf to affect future films set at that event. It makes me think that they are saving some interesting stuff for later eps
