File this tidbit under the category of “I spend way too much time surfing the internet”. Roy’s line “If you’re so smart, then why are you so dead?” is almost identical to a 25 yo line from a Simpsons episode in which Homer quips “If he’s so smart, how come he’s dead?”. There was also an episode of the show Psych titled “If You’re So Smart, Then Why Are You Dead?.” How ironic is that someone cocky enough to utter a line like that is rarely as smart as they think they are.
Yes! I read about the Simpsons quote too. It’s like, “Roy, if you’re so witty with the kill lines, how come you’re using a joke stolen from Homer Simpson??”
