The first one was bad enough and a lot of people gave low rates. Even so, why would they want to make sequel? This is what I don’t understand. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
The budget on the 1st one was $50k and wound up making over $5 million at the box office plus VOD and streaming. I’m sure the thinking was that with a bigger budget, they could make a better movie and cash in even more, and it was a better movie, marginally. IMDb rating on the 1st is 2.9 and 5.4 on the 2nd. What they didn’t take into account is that while the 1st movie was a novelty that piqued the interest of many, it wasn’t nearly good enough to make people want more and to the best of my knowledge, 2 hasn’t broken even yet.
