Only been able to watch the first episode so far, but it don’t seem all that bad to me, worth watching for what it is. Actually, it’s getting kind of hard to find something along this line of show that hasn’t been done, or that might be considered ‘innovative’ in some way, I’m thinking this kind of show, the whole vampire thing, has probably been pretty much done into the ground.
Best we can hope for at this point is somebody just putting out a really good movie or series that has good acting and a good script, maybe a few good plot twists just to keep you guessing. might be this isn’t the one, but I’m willing to give it another episode or two before I call it quits.
I’m 99% sure you have already seen this but on the off chance you somehow missed it, try The Strain. I agree with your comment about being done to death and the Strain was like a breath of fresh air. It was helmed by Guillermo del Toro if you needed any more convincing. Funny how I’m sick to death of all these Vamp and Zombi shows, yet every time a new one is announced I get excited, lol. I’m looking forward to watching this even though the synopsis sounds just like the show from last January, The Passage, minus the child.
