“Early days of hope and optimism give way to setbacks as high-tech China clashes with working-class America.”…That seems condescending. If China used anything “high-tech”. they likely stole it from us.The point of this documentary seems obscure. Is it meant to show that the different cultures do not get along, or that China is taking over America? Many of the people working there do not seem happy. Many more quit, or were fired. And the story does not say why the GM plant was closed, and moved. An unsatisfactory story. Kind of anti-American.
