It’s definitely worth seeing, however big a fan you may be of the original (and I am). I think that there is also a Japanese or Korean spin on this too but I could be remembering that wrong because I’m old and addled.
If nothing else you’ve got to love the producer’s name. Seymour Nebenzal. That really warms my cockles. It sounds like both an instruction to read more Lovecraft and also an exotic invitation to broaden your horizons a bit too. I’m in my fifties and I’ve never seen ANY Nebenzal. I probably ought to try to see at least SOME of it before the current virus related boredom kills me.
