starphlo : Mind-blowing episode.
And some people are mediocre that any piece of crap seems enjoyable in their eyes. Episode VII wasnt perfect but good enough to startup a new generation into the Star Wars Universe. Unfortunatly Episode VIII was a writters pride rubbish and Episode IX was a failled redemption attempt that only confirmed what Episode VIII attempted. Star Wars as is, is dead. Now theres only room for side stories and this trilogy was an insult, a shame and a pitfull end of the greatest saga of all-time. Wish these movies were never made so other more competent and knowledgeable writters could fill our imagination as they did with the expanded universe in a time when only true fans cared about Star Wars instead of these FX sheeps that claim to understand Star Wars today. We live in a time where merit is replaceable by mediocracy.
I’ve watched every single Star Wars film in theaters since Episode I. This trilogy was great if you’re a fan. I prefer getting an end to the story with all the original players involved (if not to a perfectly satisfying degree and in a perfect way) than the Lucasfilm Group’s plans under Lucas to focus on vidya games and television. In retrospect if Disney never bought Star Wars we would never have gotten Carrie Fisher back in the role, and that alone makes these movies a standout experience.
