youre not wrong. netflix has been gobbling up way too much international film over the years. they also cancelled every good original series they had. i understand this saves them a ton of money by doing this. the problem is what you said. no one wants to read what they watch. most people play games while watching tv or they are cooking or eating or doing homework or whatever else. it is hard to have the focus of reading a book when you watch tv. if you wanted to read a book you would just read a book right? netflix is about over now.
I agree with you giratina1077! I’ve been sewing masks for months now (I work at a university and want to have enough made for my grad students who teach classes) and I like to watch stuff here on primewire while sewing. I can’t do that if the movie/tv show has subtitles. I looked at Curon and thought to myself it probably had subtitles. I may watch it later when I’m done with my summer sewing project. I’ve been working from home since mid March and my job doesn’t require much. But if I were on campus, I’d be answering the phone, helping students who come in my office asking questions and helping faculty with this or that. I long for “normal” again so that I can just stretch out on the couch and read subtitled movies/tv shows…….
