This interview-style documentary, that serves as this film’s narration, solely with Jim Carrey, is made of the stuff that turns personal breakdowns into life changing breakthroughs. It was shot in 1999 and released 18 years later in 2017, and occurs during the filming of “Man on the Moon” https://www.primewire.li/movie/310897-watch-man-on-the-moon (the biography about comedian Andy Kaufman). I would highly recommend watching the film and then this documentary. In my opinion, this is one of the finest and most contemplative documentaries (due to the combination of narration and film within a film documentary) I have ever seen. It may be challenging for some to watch for many reasons. For others, it will be completely cathartic, compelling and awakening. 5/5
