This film has the Korean fast-paced, twitching, screeching zombie success that “Train to Busan” has. However, the story-line for #Alive is [primarily] about one survivour. What I enjoy most about the Korean zombie films like this one, is how well fleshed-out the characters are. It is something that is sadly missing from recent American zombie films, and horror, for that matter. This is an oddly relatable and entirely engrossing experience. Definitely recommended viewing for horror and zombie fans alike. 3.8/5
