Don’t know what the big deal is. The movie is made be African-Americans and stars African-Americans. We were made to understand by pretty much everyone that they can use the word as they see fit whilst other races can not.
I think people are confusing black exploitation films and the more self aware side of that genre like ‘blazing saddles’, or ‘coonskin’ that do not devalue black american persons portrayed or the actors involved.
Just FYI I am pretty sure the guys behind it are white Europeans, dutch from memory. Though NGL I only really know the fatmans stuff who seems pretty white but that shouldnt stop this film from existing
