Loved this film but I must say I am a Gaspar Noe fan & love all his movies. Having said that I acknowledge his style is not for everyone. His movies are character driven & lean on plot. Yet they are visually stunning & his characters are endlessly fascinating to me. This is no exception.
All of his movies involve characters who experience some type of traumatic experience & devolve into varying levels of chaos. Noe captures the dark side of humanity that many do not address which often is shocking to many. The fact that he does it w/stunning photography & unusual camera angles/techniques is icing on the cake.
