Not a terrible premise, but the writing and the drama is so forced. Assume for a moment, that car enthusiasts are not interested in the drama and just want to get to the driving part. Episode 2 had a lot of time wasted by rehashing the rules for each round. A good 5 minutes could have been saved by condensing that portion.
