Pretty solid documentary miniseries. Doesn’t go quite as deep as I would want it to but love the inclusion of some more recent series like “Insecure”, “Space Force” and “The Upshaws”. I haven’t watched the final episode yet but I’m hoping it delves more into some more of the cable/streaming comedies it hasn’t yet. Like seriously, no love for “Loosely Exactly Nicole”, “ I just want my pants back” or “Mary + Jane”! This whole show dwelled a wee bit too much on network tv and multicam comedies than I would like but I love the genre (I prefer British sitcoms and this is about American sitcoms — and “Fleabag”, oddly enough — and my love for American sitcoms is mostly the stuff that lasted 1 or 2 seasons in the mid 2000s and 2010s but I love the form in general).
