Jamie is where he is because John put him there, including the fancy college and law degree. Jamie took Beth and had her sterilized! Didn’t Jamie also kill someone? Now he knows who was behind the Dutton family attempted massacre and he did nothing. I can’t wait for the big reveal when John finds out who was behind it and that Jamie knew! Jamie is gutless and spineless … a coward. I didn’t understand at first why Beth hated him so, now it makes sense.
