It’s Professional edition and you have to go into the registry and change things. The options are still there under “customize sounds” but they killed the feature after Windows 8. Why they left the vestige behind is anyone’s guess. There’s tutorials out there—I’d post a link but we’re not allowed.
Darn, I was hoping there was another way that I have not tried already. I also have pro edition win 10 x64. Did the regedit tutorial trick and that didn’t work also the Gpedit trick and that didn’t work for me either. For the statup sound I had to use a separate program that replaces the windows startup sound in the .dll library. But it only works for start up not shutdown. Oh well thank you anyways.
