This one looks promising I should keep an eye on it.

I don’t know what to make with this show, yet. Right off the bat, it’s hard for me to believe that a mentally unstable detective, would still have a job, at the London Metropolitan police. And everybody around him seems to be fine with it? I don’t think so. Somebody like that would be a danger to himself and his colleagues. I’ll see how future episodes goes, but this first one was hard to get into.

I don’t know about the UK, but the USA is full of mentally ill people in powerful positions.

This first episode was simply amazing, and if it’s any indication of what’s come, I’m fully on board.

It’s very much like John Wick which is a good thing. Just when they’re out the game people pull them back in. I like that they cast someone who looks nothing like the typical action star to do these more realistic fight scenes. You can tell the dedication Bob Odenkirk put into training and so much fun seeing Christopher Lloyd also playing a badass. It’s just a great action flick to sit back with some popcorn and enjoy.

Why give us the Bautista teaser and not follow through?! Harrison had no right being the moral arbiter when he himself should be in prison.

Peacemaker (2022) S1 E8

James Gunn can save DC if he made this D-list villain show so good. I’m a comic nerd and even I never heard of Peacemaker until The Suicide Squad, but now he’s turned him into a fan favorite like he did Guardians of the Galaxy. The action was great and that cameo at the end was like a cherry on top of a perfect season. Totally didn’t expect them to do that.

Highly enjoyable movie with a great all-star cast! Although the ending was a bummer…but it did point out how important it is to have leaders who follow facts and science, rather than some lunatic tech billionaire, the type who would save himself and screw the planet! SO glad this was fictional!

I think this is the show that a lot of us need right now. It’s so positive and upbeat, I have often disliked Jason Sudeikis because he frequently plays characters that I find unlikable but he is the very definition of likable in this. Could not recommend it enough. I will say that you’re not gonna bust a gut, it’s not as if it’s not funny but you don’t have those big belly laughs, you will come away feeling better about life though.

Foundational ignorance of consent is the bedrock of rape culture. Which, I’d say, is one of the excellent points made by the documentarians.

I was really looking forward to this. Plots and subplots at the expense of action and to me the characters are not compelling enough for that and so far very slow - agree with everyone. Bummer.

I always enjoy movies at sea, and especially movies including submarines. And this was a critical time in the war. Had things gone a little differently, we could all be goose stepping. Hanks is excellent as usual…though I admit that I am a little curious about the movies he has chosen to do. Many have been about the war, or the war has figured prominently in them. Others explored religious ideas, like “The Da Vinci Code. Hanks is a hard core Liberal, and this seems out of sorts for his choice of films, as Liberals oppose war with a pasion, and disdain Religion. Hanks embraces both, and yet remains a Hollywood favorite, though he is personally a highly religious man, with an interest in warfare. It seems an oddity. Kudos to Hanks for managing to thread the needle of acceptance. A good movie to add to a collection that examined the men that saved the free world. The greatest generation.

It’s more of a “dark comedy.” Adam McCay is a great comedic writer/director, but the laughs were because it is a very dark subject. I hope the US government doesn’t ever act in this way.

Um…their wasnt anything even closely resembling a spoiler in this comment.
He didn’t mention anything to do with the plot he mentioned the actors who are involved and that he liked it and why.

At this point I’m quite convinced that Jack doesn’t have any idea what a spoiler actually even is.

actually, If you sign up and login there are no more popups. Im sure that a lot of people are probably scared to sign up because they’re afraid of getting in trouble somehow legally, or they think that their id will be stolen or hacked somehow. I have been a member since the original primewire, and I have never had any problems…especially popups. once you sign up and log in, you wont have any more popups. also if anyone’s having trouble with popups just go to tools/add-ons and add a few popup blockers. I have 7 myself, and since then I haven’t had one popup. I recommend Adblock plus or Ad-blocker pro, those 2 I’ve had forever and they work great. good luck everyone….and enjoy the show :)

If you install uBlock Origin you probably won’t need seven.

Looking for a new binge give this a try. Slow build up towards the end of season 1 but holy hell is this show underrated by the general public. They really do not give sci fi shows like these a chance. Easily one of the best tv shows out there this year.

Project Power (2020)

This Netflix original is a very entertaining, easy to watch, and professionally edited semi-superheroes sweet treat. Jaime Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, combined with [relative] newcomer Dominique Fishback deliver on every level. I enjoyed its quirkiness and humour as well as its gore and imagination. Highly pleasurable viewing. 3.8/5

After reading the synopsis and watching the trailer, I was looking forward to viewing the film right away, but then the low ratings caught my eye. Thankfully, I wasn’t swayed by the bad reviews criticizing it for being misandrist. With the acting, cinematography, fantasy elements and my own imagination, I was highly entertained from beginning to end. It reminded me of the Sirens legend, Peter Pan, The Lost Boys and even Peggy Sue Got Married. Summarizing the movie as feminists on the warpath is just plain knee-jerk and simplistic.

Good movie! Opening scenes set up a nice sense of dread. A fine mix of sifi/horror, keeps it interesting all thru the flick. If yer a fan of these kind of movies you won’t be disappointed. The ending might rile up some paranoid alien conspiracy types, might settle a few down. 8/10
