Great actors working their craft. These were people of substance. Think we’ll ever see anything like this from all the Disney acting generation who seem to be monopolizing the field? Ha…

The Woodsman (2005)

Odd movie. Love Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, but these were weird roles to see them in. The movie itself is troubling and taboo. I mean, it’s hard to feel sorry for a child molester.

Another winner from Ridley Scott. Great story, great cast.

A MUST watch for anyone who has not seen this movie. Bill Paxton (R.I.P.) should have been very proud of this film. Casted with some of his Texas friends. One of my favorites.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)

There’s only so much dumb I can take. I did force myself to the 45 minute mark however. May as well be watching a Disney channel kid show. Don’t know how it ends… don’t care.

The Dirt (2019)

Can’t believe they wanted to tell their story in this style of slapstick garbage. Heard these stories told so many different ways, its hard to know what the actual truth is from these burnouts. Saw more then a few scenes where I remember it differently. I was also in the scene at the time, along with my brother who played venues like the Troubadour, Roxy, and another (I can’t remember the name of). 1 time watch for me.

The Edge (1997)

Great story and wonderfully shot. Exceptional cast, including the bear. This will be a classic worth multiple watches. Perfect watch for the outdoorsman and adventure seekers.

If at first you don’t succeed… try, try again. Inspiring story with a great cast. Why can’t I find a woman like this?

Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992)

One of the greats. Props to Frances Ford Coppola. I don’t know if I would have cast Winona Ryder as Nina, but to each their own. Two of my all time favs in this… Anthony Hopkins and Gary Oldman. This movie has become an annual watch for me. One of the best romance stories of love and heartbreak, set to a dark/horrific backdrop. How can this get anything but 5 stars?

The New Mutants (2020)

Over-hyped and the usual let down. Love the whole X-Men universe and comics growing up, but these latest films are NOT doing them any justice. And what is up with todays up-in-coming actors/actresses? It’s like watching a bunch of parrots in every movie that comes out now. No originality, unique qualities, or character to any of them… except for maybe a precious few. Seriously, it’s like each and every one of them are all cast from the Disney school of performing arts. That’s what is ruining the whole Stars Wars continuation for me as well. GET PEOPLE THAT I CAN BELIEVE!

Date Night (2010)

Nice cameo’s of Bill Burr (w/ hair), Mila Kunis, James Franco, Kristen Wiig, Ray Liotta, and Mark Wahlberg. However, this movie completely SUCKED and wasn’t funny at all, which really blows considering the 2 main characters are played by comedic A listers w/ a great supporting cast. 1 time watch. I would not recommend. Completely unoriginal, garden variety Hollyweird GARBAGE!… in a N.Y. setting…

Starship Troopers (1997)

I was referred to this movie as a “must watch”. I wonder if I can sue them to get those 2 hours back. What a hunk’a sh*t!
