Oh man— season finale I believe— should’ve threw in an extra hr.

The Equalizer (2021)
Mannic 2 points 2 years ago.

People are just negative because they’re mad a Denzel movie which was kinda average for a Denzel movie replaced the lead with a women. Queen Latifah is a badass in the role even if some of the fighting etc is a bit unbelievable it’s a TV show get over it. The show was quite fun and even almost beat out NCIS in the seasons ratings which hasn’t been done by any show in a very very long time.

DanoJones47 1 points 2 years ago.

Actually— this is an adaptation of an older show, starring Edward Woodard. The Denzel versions, were also based on the Woodward series. Many prefer the original, and don’t like either reboot attempt. I think they could have cast the part better— but it is ok. Just not the original.

This comment didn’t age well— Dec 22.

Hawkeye (2021) S1 E6
DanoJones47 0 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Good stuff!! With any luck, they will renew for a 2nd season. If it is only 6 episodes again, they should make the closer to 90 mins. Even brought in the netflix version of Kingpin!! Nice touch. Yelena was definitely better in this show, as opposed to that garbage movie. 5/5

Young Justice (2010) S4 E4
DanoJones47 2 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Can we go back to the style of the first 2 seasons, where there wasn’t a narrative being pushed?

Young Justice (2010)
DanoJones47 1 points 2 years ago.

Season 4? Wow… I thought after the season 3 mess, and weirdo ending, they were going to end it. Hopefully this is better.

Hawkeye (2021) S1 E5
DanoJones47 8 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I’m liking this so far. I wasn’t sure at first. I thought it was gonna be WB-ish. I didn’t think Kingpin would be in it— he’s more of a Spiderman and Daredevil villain. But solid so far.

South Park (1997) S24 Special
DanoJones47 1 points 2 years ago.

Yes!! Good stuff.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)

It was most definitely better than the last one, thankfully.

Out of Shadows (2020)
DanoJones47 1 points 2 years ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

I’m surprised this film wasn’t “hidden”. While waiting, impatiently, for Sound of Freedom to finally be released, it was suggested I check this documentary out. Intriguing for sure. It definitely shines a light on the cockroaches. 5/5

NCIS: Los Angeles (2009) S13 E3
DanoJones47 0 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Tsk tsk. Didn’t like this “agenda pushing” episode. Hopefully they do not make a habit of it this season.

Yellowstone (2018)
Arcangel2020 4 points 2 years ago.

The hype for this show is definitely spot on, this is a really GOOD series. I wondered what all the talk was about and so I decided to give the show a shot..and from the first episode..I have have been hooked. terrific acting, terrific storylines, the characters are great. I like Kevin Costner as an actor and I’ve liked a majority of the films he has been in (let’s face it some them were pretty bad…not all..but some) and he does a great job as the Patriarch of the Dutton family in this series.
I’ve been steadily working my way through all three season in order to get caught up to speed for Season 4, which will soon air.

DanoJones47 3 points 2 years ago.

By far— Costner’s best performance, IMO. Plus so much happens in each episode— it feels like its 2 hrs long. Now you know where the “take him to the bus station” memes came from, lol. Try Peaky Blinders, if you haven’t seen it before. Another great one.

Titans (2018) S3 E13

Oh man, S3 went so quick. Now the wait for S4 begins.

Watch, they start calling her “K” . The last names are even similar. lol

FBI: Most Wanted (2020) S3 E4

I can picture Tali walking into the kitchen while her dad’s boinking Sarah on the counter top.

Edit: I just realized that Jess was Victor Von Doom. That’s amazing!

DanoJones47 1 points 2 years ago.

He was also Cole on Charmed.

FBI: Most Wanted (2020) S3 E4

Is it just me, or does Kristin Gaines, act an awful lot like Horatio Caine?

Titans (2018) S3 E9

I bet it only works if ya got a body to go back to— like the Matrix.

Titans (2018) S3 E3

Right on— it’s back!! No better version of the New Teen Titans.

Stillwater (2021)
yonkk 10 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Not a Thriller. Boring waiting for something to happen. THEN BOOM still nothing.

DanoJones47 4 points 2 years ago*.

No doubt. The parts they could have done a little something— they still didn’t. They should have named it “Stillnothing”

Stillwater (2021)
DanoJones47 2 points 2 years ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

Not really sure what to say about this movie. Tbh. It was time consuming, and not thrilling. It just left me feeling a little lost and disappointed. I couldn’t even throw in a spoiler.

The Suicide Squad (2021)
DanoJones47 3 points 2 years ago.

Solid movie. Action, violence, no virtue signaling. What’s not to like? 5/5

The Suicide Squad (2021)
DanoJones47 7 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

1/2 way through this, and if ya liked the 1st one, you’ll love this one. Insanely violent— like Deadpool/Ninja Assassin/Titans (live action) violent. Good stuff. Must see 5/5.

Snake Eyes (2021)

Snake Eyes with a voice?

Animal Kingdom (2016) S5 E1

Bout to watch the beginning of the end great show

DanoJones47 3 points 2 years ago.

But it still has 1 more season.

Black Widow (2021)
DanoJones47 2 points 2 years ago.

Well.. Sort of bland, mediocre. I thought it was going to be worse though. So, there’s that. I am hoping “What If?” will be much better.

The Tomorrow War (2021)
DanoJones47 3 points 2 years ago.

Good stuff. It may be a little over 2hrs long, but it doesn’t seem like it. Action, solid plot. Cast isn’t bad. I could see myself watching it again. 4/5 (5 stars are reserved for flics like Pulp Fiction and The Prophecy).

F9: The Fast Saga (2021)
cowboy_fan2k 12 points 2 years ago.

Another one of these…… What are they going to do this time drive cars in space. It’s just getting ridiculous at this point.

DanoJones47 1 points 2 years ago.

Yes, of course there is a space scene, lmao

Jack Irish (2012) S3 E1
DanoJones47 1 points 2 years ago.

The only one that is season 3— pretty good. But don’t plan on binge watching— the other 3 eps are all jacked up (pun intended)

Jack Irish (2012) S3 E4

Apparently this one is wrong too ;/ season 1

Leverage: Redemption (2021)
DanoJones47 6 points 2 years ago.

Same cast, minus Hutton. Should be decent. Wyle was in the Librarians with Kane— similar action-style shows. I can’t wait. Bosch , and Yellowstone, now Leverage, all about to start back up. Good stuff— hope none of these shows have decided to go woke..

V for Vendetta (2006)

And now its— always remember the 3rd of November…

The Crow (1994)

I fully agree with all of these comments, and will be honoring the 27th anniversary, by watching Brandon Lee one more time!

Mortal Kombat (2021)
DanoJones47 -1 points 3 years ago.

Special FX doesn’t make a reboot better. After watching this, I had to go rewatch the first one. If this is your first time seeing MK— you’ll like it.
2.75/5

Hedgehogs (2016)
DanoJones47 0 points 3 years ago.

What in the creepy, propaganda h*ll is this?

The Platform (2020)
DanoJones47 1 points 3 years ago.

Not bad at all— it just seems like they tried a bit too hard,to dumb it down a bit, so the lower double digit IQs, could be enthralled by it. If you are looking for something to work your brain, with some substance… you may want to look somewhere else.

Q: Into the Storm (2021)
FletchLives 1 points 3 years ago.

“hate” has been pushed by many people in many cultures since the beginning of time

DanoJones47 0 points 3 years ago.

And was not referring to the history of “hate”.

Q: Into the Storm (2021)
DanoJones47 -3 points 3 years ago.

Unfettered free speech— Heaven forbid. I honestly feel bad for the libs that have been gaslit by MSM, the past 5+ yrs. Pushing nothing but hate for anyone “non-liberal”.

NCIS: New Orleans (2014)
DanoJones47 1 points 3 years ago.

Air a show, take 2 weeks off, air another episode, take a week off. Ridiculous— I do not even want to hear it, it may not be great, but it isn’t another flipping reality show, nor has PC and liberal virtue signaling sucked the life out of it. So that’s a plus.

Batman: Soul of the Dragon (2021)
DanoJones47 2 points 3 years ago.

Dick Dragon is a bit humorous. At least the villain wasn’t Lucy Vag.

Clarice (2021) S1 E1
ac1d 2 points 3 years ago*.

my biggest fault with this atm was multiple mentions of buffalo bill from silence of teh lambs but 0 mention of hannibal lecter and how he helped catch buffalo bill very confusing -he was not mentioned once nor shown in any flashback smh on this one -dont think this is a spoiler

DanoJones47 1 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Actually— his participation was referenced (3:40 mark), just not his name. When Clarice was talking to her therapist. He mentions that here last therapist was an inmate at the baltimore hospital for criminally insane, and ate people. She said he wasn’t ,that it was quid pro quo, and he wanted pieces of her life , in order for him to help her catch Bill.
