oh cool good to know because you never know what your going to get with M. Night Shyamalan! When I first saw “The Village”, I hated it (I can appreciate it now) but I loved the “Unbreakable” trilogy! Complete and total shock when “Split” came out! He’s good at true unforeseen twists that knock you off your feet! So I’m always curious to see what he’s come up with!

WOW! Great make-up! I liked it, a good twist on a well known horror concept. kind of reminded me of 30 Days of night…not the story itself but the make up. Very good acting when it came to getting really into character! I thought about them yelling “CUT” and the actors stopping and being normal lol then go back to the chaos when they said action lol. looked exhausting, that takes commitment and not caring about how silly you might end up looking lol. Tons of action, once it starts it doesn’t stop! It’s def worth the watch if your into horror…way better than a lot of whts been out in this genre! Happy Watching!

Wow ,interesting SK romance …never knew he did those. Very imaginative, its one of the main challenges of bringing his work to life, translating his words onto film. Stephen Kings stories get way past reality and logic and get pretty out there to the point, directors wouldn’t even try to do movie adaptation. I liked it , I think it was a strange and beautiful tale. The cinematography was beautiful! Those fall colors were so gorgeous the way they played off Julianne Moore’s red hair and fair skin tone and of course the house and town they used that looks like it was located in Maine, his favorite town. I loved seeing Michael Pitt, he’s so talented and so underrated. The cast was amazing! Very well done. thanks 4 links. Happy Watching!

yes the lines were deep and he said them so well i immediately teared up ,shocked by my own emotions and how he was able to trigger that in me. The movie takes an unexpected turn that really got to me, loss is a terrible thing to endure. Also his costar Alex Wolff was amazing as well. With Nick, just the way he is able to subtly show his emotions, they say so much without him actually saying a word, he can get you with just the sadness in his eyes. He’s amazing at serious roles!

I think a lot of people missed the point of this movie…it was way more subtle than Nicks usual movie roles lately.[he never turns down a role] This was a drama, not a thriller and if you were also expecting weird, wild and crazy Nick, then I can see why you’d be disappointed. The movie poster is all wrong too, its not about him being crazy or violent…its him being serious and sad. I love seeing him go back to his roots and play a serious role again. He shines when doing serious dramas and off-beat indie cult classic type roles.

OMG😭! Beautiful! That’s the Nick that we all forget about! When he’s out there making, just for fun(not always good), over the top crazy and weird movies, we forget about him starting out as a serious actor. We forget he won the Academy Award for Best Actor in Leaving Las Vegas, beating out Anthony Hopkins, Richard Dreyfuss and Sean Penn… WOW! This movie was a testament to his range and shows he still has the ability to not only be serious but also break our hearts! His timing was exceptional, I was emotional throughout the whole movie. They tend to ask if they are present, then once they feel there is confirmation they freak out and don’t go any further than…”Did you live here?”, “Are you happy, sad, mad or glad?”…Im sorry but if I thought I was communicating with some intelligent unseen force, I’d be asking “Where you once a human that died?”,if YES= “Is there actually life after death?”, “Is there a place like heaven”, “Is there a god?” “Is there a devil?” “Are you alone” “Did I know or do I know you?” “Was dying scary” “Do you you visit loved ones?”, “can you be in more than one place at a time?” If answer was NO = “Are you a demon?” “Are you from earth?” “Are you alive?” “Who, what, when, where & why-are you and what do you want?”… I mean seriously no one asks the actual questions everyone wants to know! I get that some are controversial but they are already off the beaten path, so why not? They all stop when things start happening instead of pursuing these entities further. If you really want to prove something exists…STEP UP YOUR GAME PEOPLE! Obviously all this is hypothetical, if any of it is ever 100% real on these shows anyway. At the very least, if better questions were asked it would make it more interesting and depending on which questions maybe even scary. They barely even used any cool toys…I feel it was a wasted opportunity! The best footage wasn’t even their’s lol, it was the guy that was lead to the cemetery by the spirit box! Why do they leave the cases unfinished? It’s irritating! They hear the case, investigate, then see something creepy and then its over. Apparently its not about the case really, it’s more about the way they are each affected and what they believe. I’m still waiting for evil to take hold of Kristin. The grandma knows what’s going on. I feel things need to pick up and they need to stop bouncing all over the place and also leaving these smaller stories unfinished!

I loved Travis Fimmel’s character “Wayne”, dressed like Tyler Durden and hellbent on revenge, he’s always my favorite character lol. Maybe that’s what was missing…lots of fun scenes and use of storytelling but it wavered between falling flat and trying to be stylish like “True Romance” or “Fight Club”?idk? Although, if you don’t know the characters back story and if your not into fantasy, silliness, chaos, wit and solving mysteries or the Avengers movies…then yeah I can see why you def wouldn’t like it. I mean- it’s Chris Pratt, C’MON! It’s suppose to be fun! Wtf else are you going to watch??? This IS WORTH IT! The Judy’s & Nancy’s just want to bring everyone down and probably don’t even like the Sci-Fi or Action genre lol, it’s probably not even about the movie! Just because people make themselves miserable by overly micro managing and evaluating every 10th of a second, of every film, to “prove” its not done correctly or to their high standards and expectations -doesn’t mean you have to!! Seriously…the criticism of films these days is so off the hook harsh!! I feel everyone has been so spoiled by the really high budget movies that they expect and hold every movie to that standard and critique every little bit…”the cgi was terrible”, “yeah right that could never happen”, “Omg did you see his hair, I hate this movie”! Yes, like that last one, it’s getting that ridiculous! Not to mention we just expect movies to be made for us, to entertain us. No one has to make movies for you, they do it for the money yes but mostly because they love it. BE GRATEFUL we even have movies, during covid we basically had nothing!!! If you don’t like a movie why not just say…”It wasn’t for me” or “it didn’t hold my interest”…it’s that simple! We should be saying,”I get to…!” . We could still be on lockdown! Awesome Music selection! Ok…so we already know that good horror films are few and far between these days! This had many great nods to specific 90’s slasher films, including a hodgepodge of different elements and styles of that era and the older classics. The industry has spent a lot of time and money researching the 50’s thru to the 80’s. Look at “Stranger Things” they went above and beyond to perfect the 80’s! The 90’s atmosphere seems to be a little harder to nail than the older more popular decades but it takes way more than just getting the set and wardrobe right. Maybe because I was a 90’s teen, I know what and how we said and did things. I get it though, in comparison, the 90’s were a little on the depressing and angry side of life 😂, to say the least! It was more of a transitional decade!!🤫 Blame it on grunge music and emo kids🤣! Anyway, I thought this movie was fun! I’m looking forward and excited to see Max from “Stranger Things”! I’m sure they nailed the 70’s- camp crystal lake slasher theme! Happy Watching!

When this movie came out everyone knew it was the prequel to Alien. I have no idea what you are talking about. I think it was just not associated with the other Alien movies because it sucks.

Anyways, not everyone is on the net reading about all the movies or entertainment news or whatever! It was awesome not knowing and being surprised!! I thought it had been kept under wraps… my bad…but that’s not my point, My point is if you say any info about the movie other than your opinion then mark it as a spoiler!Do not assume everyone knows everything about the movie because you do or because its older! I love not knowing much about a movie. it’s difficult not to look at the comments displayed on the home screen to the right! It literally should be opinions without saying anything about the movie itself! No facts, hints or other revealing info..just.. “I liked it” or “ How original, I loved the characters”.. etc… Why is there even an argument against it…it takes less then a second to check the box!

Idk, I loved the shock of realizing this was actually an Alien prequel! The producers kept it a secret from what I remember, everyone thought it was just another Syfi movie until your mind is blown when you realize! I watched this in theaters and I thought it was great! It was very intense with a lot of jump scares, yell out loud and I think I just peed my pants moments lol…it was a fun ride! Seriously, what are people complaining about, I mean, what did you expect??? Maybe it was hyped up for too long? IDK, all I know is that it was an adrenaline pumping experience in the theater, totally different experience then watching your TV. Yes there were things I’d change about it but it’s not supposed to be taken so seriously! I’ve been an avid movie & series watcher from a very young age and no way is this movie terrible! If you could take or leave the first one or it was just ok then your probably just not into these type of movies! People expect way too much out of movies now days, always complaining, “it’s the cgi” or “its the script”, it’s always something! Movies have come a long way and people are pretty spoiled now, always expecting top notch everything or they give it the harshest of criticism! Go watch some B rated movies and tell me this was bad!? Where Is The logic?? For his second movie, just testing the waters to see what reaction he’d get…it’s pretty f’ing good! I hope there is a part 3 because it’s fun and I’m invested in the story but I’m also into these types of movies, I love them, its fun if you let it be!! Happy Watching!

seriously though…They could have just basically repeated the first season in a different location and it would have probably done really well…except have them be experts now at killing the dead, it’s been like 8 mos to 1yr. Keeping that it’s obviously people they need to be afraid of not so much the zombies anymore…like in TWD… they stuck together and they cared for one another the whole time and they are like a family. Along comes some bad guys plus zombies and they have to defend what they have and they fight together barely making it alive..some don’t and it’s sad af! Then they get rescued and transported and they think they are safe but something happens to blow your mind and that’s the cliffhanger for the next season …it better than this cold hearted crap lol! I could have done better lol! Keep it simple! Stop trying to be so clever lol 🤘

Flashback (2021)
Putting in my favorites! Brilliant, if you don’t watch the preview! (I usually will only watch the first little bit of a preview, just enough to get a feel for it but then I stop before it basically ends up showing a condensed version of the whole movie- giving away the most important parts!) In my opinion, the preview would have ruined this whole movie for me! I went in blind (highly recommend) and WOW! Almost had the same feeling I had when I watched Fight Club or Donnie Darko for the first time! It’s really that good! I highly recommend this movie! It’s not corny at all or B rated and it has very well known actors in it as well..maybe some people are just not into mindbender’s or just didn’t understand it? I loved it!

The secret is looking at what’s trending along with the featured list, that way you won’t miss anything new! the featured list, I was told by a mod, is reserved for movies playing in theaters…I guess the amount of theaters it plays in also determines it’s place, if any, on the list. That’s why they made the, what’s trending list, in case you were wondering why some shows do not get listed even if it has big actors or it’s really popular.🙏🙂

The very intriguing and bizarre world of SK…lol, I love it! They are doing a fantastic job at storytelling! From the interesting and complicated characters, portrayed by amazingly talented actors, to the creatively unique background and stunning visuals, to the script that carefully flows from one intentionally mysterious point to the next, pulling you in with intrigue and keeping you on edge with wonder. You can’t help but become completely immersed in this fascinating world they’ve created, giving the feeling of being on an actual journey… which is not that easy to do. I love a good mystery/thriller that steadily starts to unravels itself and I also really love the fact that, for once, I can’t guess what’s going to happen next! After watching shows for forever you reach a point where you can basically guess what’s next, its refreshing and rare to have a story take you off guard… which I wish would happen more often! I’m excited to see where this story goes, with Steven King you never know what your going to get lol but with this cast, whatever it is, it will be done amazingly!
I liked it, had me on edge couple times. Although I called it early in the movie, it still keeps you guessing and it was still fun watching it all unravel. Scary to think of! This version has a pretty long out of focus part towards the end but you know what’s happening during that time so you don’t really miss much, you just can’t see it. Don’t panic though it refocuses after a good min or so. I seriously thought I had gotten all the way to the end and it was going to stay out of focus, nope you get to finish it. Happy Watching!
