Enjoyed the series in the beginning. Good cast. I love Patricia Clarkson. Now down to the final episode and i find some of the characters contrived. Example: Sarah Beckham comes home, Chase just happens to be waiting outside for her, she finds her newly married husband dead on the floor? Some of the characters are over the top, with obvious hidden agendas. Now, I find myself fast fowarding thru some of the scenes. sigh

Sarah is definitely annoying. You don’t know where she stands at all. The ending is so contrived.
It was entertaining but I don’t where they would go next with story. I felt that is was very repetitive.
It delivers action. Didn’t care for Mel Gibson. You can watch it or skip it.
The ending in episode 3 was shocking and I didn’t expect that! The plot thickens!
Every once in a while youget a gem like this one. Early on, I didn’t know the direction it would take but I can say it had a satifying ending and it was a lovely story to be told.
Proabably average. Let Jesse L. Martin makes some money. Seems like a nice guy. I’ll still check it out.
I’m pretty sure these side characters were not real. I just don’t understand why the nurse didn’t sell.
I thought that this was a really good show. Sure, there was silly plot points, but overall it was great. Really disappointing that it was cancelled after 2 seasons. I would’ve loved for just one more season so that some of the story could have been finished up. I am not really a fan of any zombie shows or movies but this show was different than other stuff in the genre.
Maybe done with this franchise but Stallone and Arnie and Dolph are still working.
Can’t wait for season 2 of “Tulsa King” and “FUBAR.”
And Dolph has a new movie coming out in September.
Yep done with this series. This is what I meant. I loved Stallone in Tulsa King. I hope we’ll get a few more seasons. The guy is up there age though. FUBAR was another unexpected surprised. Love the Father/Daughter dynamic.
Was actually a pretty good installment. Too bad that it will most like be the last one, Really liked these.
Nope. Statham is the new lead. Of course they will bring in new characters. All the OGs are done though.
Love this series. Well written, good dose of black humor. Doris has to be my fvourite…..plus Georgia Lass’ (Ellen Muth) give no f#@!s demeour is everything.
For a show of this era, it was pretty enjoyable. Definitely ahead of its time. You could run this show again and it would fit right in with today’s TV landscape.
I can see why this show got cancelled. Season one was like 10/10 whereas Season 2 pretty average.
I know people are watching this and seem to like it, 4 stars with 10 votes. Anyone care to weigh in on it’s merits or lack of? Thanks.
I’m watching it and I like it. Worth checking out. I don’t always vote.
This would never get made today. Fair warning, lots of things are not politically correct anymore in the movie. If you can get over that, it’s still pretty funny.
i had to rewatch this film after all that time… its was a hillarious one… we dont have them like this no more
This era of comedy is over. But at least some of us lived through it! Still a good one.
Really good episode. It was slowing down a bit and now it’s full throttle.
Lot of filler and not enough substance. Good for a one time watch.
It gets a bit convoluted but it makes it to the finish line. I suppose another series is warranted since not everything was resolved.
I enjoyed it but found the three big reveals in the final episode to be very predictable from the moment they were both introduced. I am disappointed that the main premise of the show was not solved and dangled out there for another season that may or may not happen.
Season 3 starts on 9-7-23. And it’s a bit confusing too, the series started in 2011 and ended in 2013, then in 2019 it was picked up again. Three years went by after the 2019 season and then we have the 2022 season and now the final season in 2023. In all, I shall be watching all seasons starting with 2011. Since the Hollywood strike is still continuing, I’ve got plenty of time to watch Top Boy for a few weeks.
Technically 5th season. The first 2 seasons were on Channel 4. It was in a way a soft reboot but also continuation of the story.
How can you not love Rachel McAdams. Great chemistry with Jason Bateman. Would love to see Rachel doing more comedy.
This is probably the best live action anime. It takes a tremendous amount of work to get all the details right. Unlike recent adaptations, this one is the best so far. A little slow to start but you have to remember the story is super compressed when you compare it to the original anime. I really hope it goes on for a while.
Everyone is so young in this. Time has been kind to most of the cast.
Michelle is suing CBC, not CBS. And her vindication is still up for debate as the Algonquin nation does not recognize her.
Regardless of her legal status, I still think she got a raw deal. She grew up being told that she had indigenous heritage. She was raised in an area that a robust indigenous presence. Through no fault of her own she identified as such. I loved Trickster and would have enjoyed seeing more of it. Inconvenient Indian was getting a favorable critical response before it’s distribution was shelved. It just seems a shame to throw out the baby with the bath water.
Again, I find it hard that ‘A’ list actors would partake in this run of the mill show. I have no absolutely no problem with how the women are portrayed. All believable. What isn’t believable is the narrative. It all becomes cyclical and I fail to see the point as our main lead does. In typice Sherdian fashion, no actual resolution. What will the next season be like, who’s to say.
I think he stumbled on a rattlesnake nest and was bitten multiple times and died a painful death. Which would be ironic considering what a poisonous snake he wass.
Or was. But, I am disappointed that Vines got the honor of killing the blonde man.
That honor should have gone to Leaphorn. What I thought was very odd is they didn’t set up any kind of dragnet when he escaped the Sheriff’s custody. He was never spoken of again. Or did I miss something?
I do know I will miss this excellent series and I hope it comes back.
At that point, they knew he was gone. He was no longer in their reach. Vines was always the main objective and knowing the justice system had failed, Indian justice would have to do.
Took me forever to watch this last episode. Interesting narrative. This episode will keep me interested for next season.
I felt like this episode could of been longer. We must enjoy nature any chance we get. Much happier episode.
Was this a bad movie? No. Was it a great movie? No. It’s very middle of the road and since it wasn’t shot in film, it looks terrible. Harrison Ford never fails to entertain of course. This is probably Pheobe Waller-Bridges peak. Her character didn’t really make sense. Lots of build up with little pay off. This could of been a great movie but Disney.
That awkward moment when people think Arthurian legends are historical fact.
Just annoying that people complain about history. If you like it, watch it. If you don’t, skip it.
I know it’s vastly different, I meant I have a slot open so I’ll fill it with this. I’ll miss Nancy and the crew. Read all the books as a child, and the show was nothing like them. Still, really good and fun.
This would not be my choice. I’ve been watching Harlen Coben’s Shelter and it is in the same vein of Nancy drew. I read the books too. I have been pleased all around with Nancy Drew. Sometimes characters can be annoying but they all mean well.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this gets cancelled. The story is just weak. Background story for bad guy is unnecessary. Either production are big fans of Breaking Bad or they worked on show. Doesn’t add anything to the story at all.
Looking for something to replace Nancy Drew, and the reviews look good on this one. I like that people say it’s not like most cop dramas, because I watch enough of those. Always looking for something different.
Vastly different from Nancy Drew(I like Nancy Drew, still haven’t finished it). The first season is really solid. Second season is still up in the air.
I’m conflicted on this episode. I like the episode but it felt a bit sad. If you’re not one to pay attention to the elder characters, you wouldn’t know who these people were. I did enjoy the 70s dazed and confused setting. It did make for a somewhat fun episode.
What a strange way to end the season. I don’t know about this one.
I have never watched Reservation Dogs, though I have considered it, it looks good, and a lot of people seem to like it. Actually just added a couple things to my list recently, and now and again I wind up adding a movie to my ‘plan to watch’ list, though I rarely ever get to sit down and watch a whole movie anymore, unless it’s something really good that I have been waiting for anymore. Just find that I don’t have the time anymore…
I have a lot of things on my plate at the moment that I am trying to accomplish at the moment, and some possible medical stuff (AGAIN!!!) that’s staring me in the face, so I guess that’s the price of outliving ones enemies….
Was giving some thought of trying once again of culling some stuff from the herd again, but thinking with the actor/writers strike, I might just hang onto what I have as we might not get a lot of new stuff for a while, and I can always backtrack and watch stuff as I get the chance, a little bit here and there, and maybe as I get the change a bit of a binge here and there.
Recently I have had the chance to give myself the time to binge a couple things that I thought were right good, and watch a couple shows as they came out, like ‘Warrior’, which was really well done, and never disappointed, but am going to have to buckle down now on some other things for a bit. Shows will still be here when I’m ready for them. Will go mark Reservation Dogs and give that a chance when I get the chance.
I remember there was one show, can’t remember the name of it, was all Native American, really liked it, but only got one season, got killed off as one of the people behind it got nailed for lying about her heritage I believe, and that get the show cancelled. Thought that was a really bad reason to screw everybody else in the production as everybody else did such a great job. Was a great show, and had a lot of potential.
Native American actors never have really been given the chance to get the opportunity to show just how good they can be at acting, or really show their stuff until recently, and truth be told, they can show some interesting stuff when given the right things to work with, and a bit of funding. Too bad this couldn’t have happened a little sooner.
If you were already on the fence with this show, I wouldn’t recommend Reservation dogs. It’s largely not about anything in particular. It can be funny/interesting but you really have to be into it.
How can you love the characters but not love the show? That makes no sense to me. 🤨😁
It’s not hard to understand. Movies/tv shows can be categorized as plot driven(like this show), character driven or dialogue driven. We are accustomed to mostly plot driven as it’s the most common. Dark winds is a combo of plot/characters but more so plot.
No, and I think the story is moving along as it needs to. It’s also one of the best shows out there at this time, imo.
I’m losing interest in it. I still love all the characters and that will be the only reason I continue to watch. With such few episodes per season, you would think it would be more compelling.
Good news for this drama! The Night Agent season two has been confirmed by Netflix after the first season became one of its most-watched shows ever.
I think that was obvious from the start. Definitely a good one.
