Loving this so far.

where is season 7?
I watched the first episode on Hulu … sadly, it’s kind of garbage. The entire format has changed. One episode spanned thirty days. They have camera-operators now. It feels like a completely different show. Very disappointing.
This was one of the first shows I binged before binging was really a thing. I’ve watched the full run several times now and still love it … it’s well worth a watch. There’s also the ‘prequel’ of sorts on Youtube that can be found here: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwhLVJ5NdhQ) as well as a ‘season three’ graphic novel that wraps up the story. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jericho_Season_3:_Civil_War)
Saw this recommended in a list of series that deserved a finale movie, such as Deadwood, to clean up hanging storylines. Decided to give it a go.
A great documentary about an incredible human being who dedicated his life to giving a shit about others and fighting for people he didn’t know.
I had to watch a few minutes of this just to see for myself if it was as bad as everyone is saying … to my amazement, it’s worse.
The majority of these are just Over Time, which is available free on Youtube. First legit one I found was one of the Streamplay links.
I’ll watch it for Oldman, but how many different versions of The Rear Window do we really need?

I was expecting it to be pretty decent … but it was so, so much better than I was expecting.
I love this series. It’s based on an equally amazing book about Mitzi Shore and the history of the Comedy Store.
Guy Fawkes’ name may have become infamously tied with the plot, but few know the names of the other 12 conspirators. This goes someway to fixing that. They did take a little poetic license with some of the facts but the basic history is there. Brit’s still celebrate the foiled plot every November 5th, with bonfires, burning effigies and fireworks.
Christopher Catesby Harington (Kit) is actually a direct descendant of Robert Catesby, the ringleader of the entire plot.
It’s worth a watch if you’re interested in history or historic drama.
Thanks for a coherent review. Looking forward to checking this out … somehow it slipped by me entirely.
It’s exactly what you’d expect … nothing more, nothing less. Keep your expectations low and you’ll likely enjoy it. Some legitimate laughs throughout.
This fucking moron doesn’t represent all Americans… or even most Americans.
A great documentary about a sacred space that was clearly made with love.
Based on the title and trailers, I was one hundred percent convinced I was going to hate this movie. But today I rewatched The Shining, followed by this, and I was genuinely impressed. It doesn’t feel like a 2.5 hr. movie at all and they didn’t botch the ending … A solid 7.5-8/10
I haven’t watched this yet but I did see the trailer awile back and couldn’t believe the skills that AD showed off. The topic piqued my intrest but if I’m being honest I really want to see Kylo flex his thespian skills. I wasn’t even gonna comment yet( really who does that before they watch the flick) but I felt like I should help correct ur Downvote/Upvote situation.
Appreciate it. People on this site are largely children in adult clothing … Driver is a highly underrated actor. If you’re a fan, I also highly recommend BlacKKKlansman. I enjoyed his performance in The Dead Don’t Die, too, though the film itself is a little underwhelming.
Visually, this is a beautiful film. Thematically, I related. The pacing, as others have stated, is on the slower side but not to the film’s detriment. If you’re lacking in patience and seeking a shoot-em-up sci-fi adventure, you’ll do yourself a favor by passing this one by. I’m hard-pressed to see the resemblance to 2001 outside of the feelings of claustrophobia and isolation - this is more a tale of letting go. Being grateful for what’s in front of you instead of constantly yearning for that which may not exist. 6.5/10
deniro a worthless little washed up rat, cursing our PRESIDENT….wouldnt watch this dirt hole if you paid me and the movie was 5 stars
Trump is a draft-dodging trust fund cunt who has spent a lifetime losing daddy’s money. DeNiro doesn’t need you and neither does anyone else. :*
History! thats a bit strong isnt it?
Authentic! what, priests could call on god powers for magical effects?
About as authentic as Xena I guess lol
I agree entirely but I’m oddly more annoyed that there’s a link for episode one and not episode two.
I think this is a different side of the story of The Irishman told in Kill the Irishman… also a true story: https://www.primewire.li/movie/571320-watch-kill-the-irishman
Adam Driver joins the ranks of Hoffman/Redford for his portrayal of Daniel Jones, a Senate staffer working under Sen. Dianne Feinstein who, over the course of five years, pored over millions of pages of CIA documents in an effort to expose their program of torture. A program rebranded, “Enhanced Interrogation.” A program that yielded practically no valuable information and instead will forever be a stain on the history of the United States.
The agency acted out of fear and panic following the 9/11 attacks and attempted to cover up or whitewash their actions. This film is the story of a small team who worked to expose their actions to the American people and led to a bi-partisan bill authored by Senators Feinstein and McCain that would ensure no government agency ever take part in another program of its kind.
This is up their with All the President’s Men, in my opinion.
“For someone who knows the lord… you’re acting like a real cunt.”
10/10 Crucifixes. Would die for their sins twice.
If Jesus was alive, this would be his favorite movie. Jesus loved running and seeing white teachers inspire underprivileged black kids.
John 18:27-28 - ‘And the lord they GOD said, “for the love of me, stop making these stupid fucking movies.”‘
Amen.
Fair enough. That being said, there was an initial theatrical release on November 1st, this is the secondary release.
I’m a little surprised this isn’t in the featured section. Just finished it on Netflix … great film. If you’re a fan of Scorsese, you won’t be disappointed.
Nope. Its actually known as the Manson family massacre but I shortened to Manson murders. But thanks for playing along.
Glad I gave this a shot. Three episodes in so far and I’m really digging it.
Its known as the Manson murders, not “the Tate murders”. There was only one person named Tate.
It’s known as the “Tate / LaBianca murders.” But since the LaBiancas weren’t featured, I shortened it. Manson also never murdered anyone. Thanks for your valuable insight, though.
Excellent show so far. The 1st 3 eps really surprised me— though it has a slant, it goes through some effort to show some validity for other opinions too.
I don’t really care for Aniston in general but she’s doin’ good here.
I’m with you on Aniston but episode six sold me on her. This is a good showcase of genuine talent on everyone’s part - her’s especially.
This show deserves far more attention than it’s receiving. Aniston is wonderful, as is Witherspoon. Duplass, Crudup, and the entire cast of supporting actors each bring something unique and special. The first couple episodes, like with any new series, are largely exposition and require the viewer to stick with it for payoff, but the most recent episode (ep.6) literally had me in tears. This is shaping up to be a phenomenal series. Entertaining and moving on several levels.
It is well worth your time.
This show picked up where my yearning for more Survivorman left off and ran with it. I honestly didn’t even know it existed beyond seeing the cover art in passing, me assuming it was just another Naked and Afraid or some other schlock. Much to my surprise and elation, it’s a great deal more. The first couple seasons drag a bit due to the location and inexperience of some of the contestants but it’s still very much worth your time. I LOVE having so much material to catch up on.
If you’re a fan of the show, a few of the contestants actually have some great YouTube channels that’re worth checking out. My favorite, Joe Robinet (S.1) has a very extensive collection of videos … same for Zach Fowler (S.3) and Greg Ovens (S.3) … the two of them are actually in the process of releasing a series of videos of a thirty-day joint excursion. Check ‘em out!
I’ve watched the entire thing and the comment was spot on. Take your boot-licking elsewhere.
