important series not to be missed!!!.. very sad but moving and powerful tale about addiction and corruption

I love westerns, so I was really looking forward to this!!! I am really disappointed!! ..flat characters. silly, over-the-top acting and simply a waste of some of the best talent around. the soundtrack is excellent though.

now that’s what I’m talking about.. perfect cast. wicked and deep characters. lots of yummy revenge, betrayal, and power struggles!! never a dull moment. excellent finale. no annoying fake Irish accents that I could tell anyway. Clare Dunne as Amanda, smashed it! Can’t wait for the next season!!

this is an excellent drama series with a few moments of comedic relief. It is classified not only as a drama, but also as a “comedy”. It’s not. there is nothing funny about domestic violence, child abuse or mental illness.

disappointed.. really bad! Nicola Walker must be desperate for work. hard pass.

pleasantly surprised.. really like the odd couple complimenting each other creating the perfect crime solving machine lol. well written and cast. I’m enjoying this one!

I wouldn’t say unlikely …not when it comes to big pharma coming up with more addictive drugs…they make so much money off treating addiction it’s disgusting! Pretty much, everywhere you look, there is new opiate treatment center …pushing you to get on “legal” opiates! They can’t wait for you to get strung out…they have made it so easy to come running to them now that it’s free! Medi-Cal pays for it now along with the drug that saves you from overdosing, you get them together at the clinics, which they too make. look at where crack originated from and tell me this story is unlikely…if that’s what you meant!? Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to making a profit especially when drugs are involved! They are the biggest drug dealers of them all! Agreed, I was disappointed in the quality of this movie as well, especially with having such high quality actors. Seems to be the trend lately, I just watched “Chaos Walking” and felt the same way…it almost makes it worse because the expectations that come with unknown actors isn’t as great, unlike award winning actors…you feel they were cheated when the movie script is shit. You can almost tell they are trying their hardest to make it sound and look good, but that no matter what, bad writing is bad writing.

great cast and even then I couldn’t keep watching… corny, unlikely and/or predictable scenes. overall crap writing that actually made me wince lol. too bad.. I thought it would be so much better.
