The Magicians (2015)
OptimusPrimeWire -7 points 4 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Hoping Quentin stays dead, his character sucked

JennyFromBlockD 0 points 4 years ago.

Without Quentin Coldwater there would be no Magicians.
The entire premise of the show was built around the ‘deceptive’ trope of a angsty depressed kid becoming the hero; when he NEVER actually was a hero he was just a guy. That’s what make’s Magicians so fantastic. It deals with these fantastical elements but really boils down to flawed people staying flawed.

The Gentlemen (2020)
JennyFromBlockD 3 points 4 years ago.

Thoroughly enjoyed it.
If you enjoyed Snatch, Lock Stock, Layer Cake, RockNRolla; then you are gonna enjoy this.

The Gentlemen (2020)

What is up with the gambling add @ the start ? I thought that was a NO NO on this site..

JennyFromBlockD -1 points 4 years ago.

It used to be on the old primewire. However, since the ‘re-start’ of this ‘new primewire’ things have become a lot more ‘lax’

Plus, sometime in the past few years these gambling sites have nearly totally taken over the ‘Cam Business’ with 99/100 cam versions having such ads. It started with 1xbet I believe.

A Night of Horror: Nightmare Radio (2019)
DemandingFemale 7 points 4 years ago.

A Horror-Anthology of 8 shorts bridged together by the host of a horror radio show. Some truly great shorts, so don’t be put off by the B-movie feel of the bridging. There are a couple of Argentinian-Spanish shorts which don’t seem to have subtitles; again, don’t be put off - you miss nothing.
Some great writing, acting, makeup and directing. Creepy AF in parts and exactly what horror is lacking right now. I recommend it to any fan of the genre.

Thanks PW Teams :)

JennyFromBlockD 2 points 4 years ago.

If you haven’t seen them you should check out the VHS movies (thats the name of it)
There are 3 of em, the first is definitely the best; but they are all worth the watch.
Just like this one, they are horror anthologies with a overarching plotline tying them all together.

Annihilation (2018)
puffythebongslayer 4 points 4 years ago.

I keep watching this i like it alot

JennyFromBlockD 2 points 4 years ago.

Agreed. Its a very unique movie.
I have watched it like 4 or 5 times, and I decided to read the books too :)

The Monk and the Demon (2016)

Based on the cover art this man is Peter Pan after he left Neverland & grew up & his shadow is up to his old tricks.

I Am Not Okay With This (2020)
JadeEnigma 1 points 4 years ago.

I really enjoyed this. It kept my attention with some wonderfully engaging characters, despite some of the simple adolescent stereotypical side characters that were kinda annoying. Not having read the original graphic novel, I am eager to see where this goes.

JennyFromBlockD -1 points 4 years ago.

TY Again for another great one Jade.
Had totally missed this.
4 Eps in and I’m totally lovin it
Gonna have to just go through your comments to see what I’m missing :)

The Hunt (2020)
DemandingFemale 13 points 4 years ago.

I enjoyed it for what it was - A black-comedy with action and bloody death. It’s a satirical lampooning of both ends of the political spectrum; a mishmash of stereotypical characters and a script designed to perpetuate their worst stereotypical traits, whilst infuriating those it’s poking fun at for all the wrong reasons.
Some of it is so OTT I genuinely laughed out loud. If you don’t take it too seriously you’ll probably really enjoy it.

Thanks PW team :)

JennyFromBlockD -2 points 4 years ago.

agreed 100%

Skyfire (2021)
JennyFromBlockD 0 points 4 years ago.

This was a pretty great Volcano movie.
Just as good as the Dante’s Peak/Volcano movies minus the added ‘entertainment value’ of watching a recognizable face like Tommy Lee Jones/Pierce Brosnan runnin from the flames.

If you are into natural disaster movies you should definitely give this a view.

Birds of Prey (2020)
Blueozzie -1 points 4 years ago.

What was bad about it? I’m waiting for a better quality.

JennyFromBlockD 0 points 4 years ago.

Everything tbh.
It had a throw away storyline; incrdibly cringey character lines; basically no action; no one other than harelquin you recognized; and so on.

It was utterly forgettable. Ive seen a ridiculous amount of super hero movies. Mystery Men with Ben Stiller was 10000x better than this; and that was up until this point one of the shittiest super hero movies Id ever seen.

Birds of Prey (2020)
Psychorcer6 0 points 4 years ago.

Don’t understand the hate. It wasn’t as bad as people made it seem. Was it perfect? Should it be called birds of prey? Nope, but I did enjoy it, especially with the action parts.

JennyFromBlockD -4 points 4 years ago.

Your own comment described perfectly what people hated about it.
The action parts made up …what… 2% of the movie?
So yea…I’m with ya, the action parts were great! The rest of the 98% of the movie however…pure garbage…

Birds of Prey (2020)
JennyFromBlockD -2 points 4 years ago.

I’ve tried to watch this like 5x since it was put on PW.
Its just…SO BORING.
To me, it seriously has no redeeming qualities. No laughs, no action, no interesting story line..
I feel like I could watch two snails involved in a mating ritual for 8 hours and it would hold my interest 100x better than even 5 minutes of this did.

Worst DC movie I’ve ever seen, worst Margot Robie movie I’ve ever seen, good grief. How can I further express how utterly awful this was?

Altered Carbon: Resleeved (2020)

This was incredibly good.
Was more into this than I was into the show; which makes me think I need to go back and give it another shot.

Pluto (2013)
JennyFromBlockD -2 points 4 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Links purdy Please? This sounds incredibly interesting.

Breathless (2009)
JennyFromBlockD -1 points 4 years ago.

Truly Incredible Movie.
A story of Abuse & Loss and the incredibly profound effects it can have on a person’s entire life; told through the story of several different people interacting with each other.
Plus, its main ‘story’ revolves around a ‘gangster’ & his day to day money collecting. It’s truly profound & I highly recommend it.
9/10 stars

Thank you for uploading this uploaders!

Rob Riggle: Global Investigator (2020)
JennyFromBlockD -2 points 4 years ago.

This is really…really bad.
If I was a fan of this guy I think I would still hate it.

The Letter for the King (2020) S1 E1
JennyFromBlockD -2 points 4 years ago.

Seems like Game of Thrones except for little kids.
Gonna have to give it another shot another night; cuz certainly wasn’t feeling it tonight.

Hot Ones: The Game Show (2020)
JennyFromBlockD -2 points 4 years ago.

Complete garbage.
The Youtube series is great. This just does not translate.
The ‘contestants’ and even the audience just seem like …really bad actors.
Its definitely the worst game show Ive had the ‘pleasure’ of experiencing.

Noughts + Crosses (2020) S1 E1
JennyFromBlockD -2 points 4 years ago.

Tried it. Found it completely uninteresting.

The Magicians (2015) S5 E11

The Pillars of the Earth (2010)
JennyFromBlockD 1 points 4 years ago.

Pretty darned interesting.
It’s no game of thrones but it’s certainly very well done.
LOTS of recognizable faces too…before they were recognizable; like “Newt” from Fantastic Beasts & Aunt Lysa from GoT; among tons & tons more.
Only 1 episode in but it seems great.

Chosen (2013)
JennyFromBlockD -2 points 4 years ago.

This is criminally underrated.
I really wish they would of had a season 4.
Each episode is rather short; 30 min or so; and the seasons are short too, with each season only amounting to around 2 to 2.5 hours.
I highly recommend this watch.
It has a plot VERY similar to Guns Akimbo; but its just much more serious rather than wacky.

Yes, God, Yes (Short 2017) (2017)
JennyFromBlockD -4 points 4 years ago.

Well wtf.
A chomos wet dream.
This shouldn’t even exist.
Sick af

Westworld (2016)
JennyFromBlockD 2 points 4 years ago*.

I lost interest before the end of the second season; and paid very little attention to the second half of the season.
Watched the youtube video recommended by Jade to catch up a bit.
Still just a rather instant no-go on the 3rd season.
Not enjoyable at all to me; and this type of scifi AI genre is one of my favorites. Its just so…bland at this point. Nothing is really interesting, just seems to be delusions of grandeur with big words & big ideas but very little actual substance. To each their own. As for me, Dropped.

Dorohedoro (2020)
JennyFromBlockD -1 points 4 years ago.

Been watching it every week now;waiting for for episode 9.
If you are into ‘adult oriented’badass action anime you should definitely be watching this. Its a keeper.

The Running Man (1987)
JennyFromBlockD -1 points 4 years ago.

Love love love this movie.
Childhood classic.
Definitely my favorite arnold flick

Double Take (2001)
leeisme03 -3 points 4 years ago.

Boooo! very upset. Have to pay $3 just to watch this movie!

JennyFromBlockD -1 points 4 years ago.

Who did you pay?
Last time I checked all the movies are free on here. And $3.00? If you saw this in theaters or such… aren’t they either like 50 cents or 5 to 10$ back then? :P

You livin in one of those mandella effect alternate universes arentcha

Double Take (2001)
JennyFromBlockD -1 points 4 years ago.

Seen this a few times.
Fun watch, and it’s something that’s definitely different to throw on if you haven’t seen it before.

The Meteor Man (1993)
JennyFromBlockD -2 points 4 years ago.

Loved this as a kid; and even today I think it still holds up…as being pretty bad :p
In all seriousness tho; I think it’s a fun watch.

Hwasango (2001)
JennyFromBlockD -3 points 4 years ago.

I need links to this pretty please. This is epic.
Its Magicians with martial arts. Lots of fun.
Please halp.

The One (2001)
JennyFromBlockD -1 points 4 years ago.

Ive seen this several times and thoroughly enjoy it everytime I watch it.
If you haven’t seen it before; I highly recommend it.
Time Travel, Jason Statham (before he was popular) & Jet Li.
Rather ‘Uniqueish’ storyline, good action, interesting plot; and good acting.
A few ‘goofy lines’ here and there, but thats okay.
7/10 stars, one of those you can watch again and again.

My Spy (2020)
JennyFromBlockD -5 points 4 years ago.

Not that I hate Dave Batista; but of all the people to have not deserved to be getting ‘plush’ movies like this its this GUY(ala Arnold in Kindergarten Cop, Stallone in Stop or My Mom, Diesel in Pacifier, etc etc etc)
Sure, he gets some entertaining lines in Guardians of the Galaxy but sheesh; an entire career based on him acting like a buffoon? Just no.
This was just as bad as I expected it would be. 3/10 stars.

The Lodge (2020)
Bloodshot (2020)
JennyFromBlockD -2 points 4 years ago.

Pretty decent.
But yeah it was literally the exact plot of Universal Soldier; just with ‘newer tech’
Worth the 1 time watch
6/10

The Hunt (2020)
JennyFromBlockD 0 points 4 years ago.

Pretty entertaining.
The last 15 minutes or so was rather janky; and the one girls ‘ticks’ were SUPER distracting. Other than that, I enjoyed it. 6/10

Nekrotronic (2019)
RoboPhone 3 points 4 years ago*.

Nothing was deleted. it is still here and also still in Chat if you scroll back. My Comment above should suffice as I did enjoy it that much!

JennyFromBlockD -2 points 4 years ago.

Interesting. I loved Wyrmwood. So Ima gonna trust you Robo :o

The Babysitter (2017)
JennyFromBlockD -2 points 4 years ago.

This was great.
Can’t believe I missed it.
Less comedy than I expected; which was a good thing. Took a minute to get into it, but once it did; it never let up. 7/10 stars

Shepard (2020)
JennyFromBlockD -2 points 4 years ago.

This was pretty darn good.
Reminded me of Hesher except with a older kid & no comedy.
7/10

Joker (2019)
JesseOG -5 points 4 years ago.

A decent journey with a terrible finish. Not really worth the hype of being dark or twisted. Not Taxi Driver or Natural Born Killers or even the Dark Knight really. Not any JOKER level crazyness either but at the end does the JOKER even exist? Again a terrible ending 2.5/5

JennyFromBlockD -2 points 4 years ago.

Couldn’t agree more Jesse.
This wasn’t a superhero villain’s origin story.
This was a movie about a man’s descent into madness. And the films you mentioned; or other’s like Black Swan or Jacob’s Ladder or Fight Club should show the viewer what a truly good movie about this subject looks like. And simply put, this wasn’t it.
Not a terrible movie; but not a great…or even good movie.
A solid 5 or 6 out of 10 MAXIMUM.
One time watch that will be easily forgotten

Spenser Confidential (2020)
JennyFromBlockD -1 points 4 years ago.

Quite Good.
This is not as described though. This is not a comedy in any sense whatsoever.
Would you consider “The Departed” or “Goodfellas” a comedy simply because it had a few funny moments? Of course not.
This was a very serious look at life after prison for a x-police officer.
Worth the watch, rather slow moving; but good performances throughout.
6/10

Bulletproof 2 (2020)
JennyFromBlockD -2 points 4 years ago.

LOL Wait WHAT?! They made a bullet proof 2…with two entirely different actors… guess wayans put on 200 pounds for the role & sandler got a giant beard and became not funny.
Why would they even do this lol.

Shepard (2020)
Guns Akimbo (2020)
magically_delicious 4 points 4 years ago.

Quirky, irreverent, strange and violent, heavily accented by a colourful visual display, “Guns Akimbo” with Daniel Radcliffe, shows how incredibly talented this actor is. Radcliffe has smashed his “Harry Potter” type cast to smithereens. Samara Weaving also demonstrates how the “pretty girl” type cast is rubbish to her, as she emerges bloody and cheeky on every level of this mesmerisingly in-your-face black comedy, action/thriller. Highly watchable violence and enjoyably diverse black comedy. If you’ve not seen Radcliffe’s other bids to acting excellence, check out “Horns” https://www.primewire.li/movie/737044-watch-horns, “Imperium” https://www.primewire.li/movie/1160890-watch-imperium, and “Jungle” https://www.primewire.li/movie/1142164-watch-jungle.

Underwater (2020)
JennyFromBlockD 3 points 4 years ago.

I really feel like this could of been really, really good….if only it had some build up. They needed to spend the first 10-15 minutes introducing the characters & especially the ‘rig’. That would of done wonders for the movie. Instead, they throw you into a place you don’t understand with characters you don’t know in a catastrophe that has no weight due to the previous.
Still, I enjoyed it. 6/10

Freaks (2019)
JennyFromBlockD 0 points 4 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

This was really quite good. I gave up the first time I watched it. It felt creepy with a weird guy in a van vibe that I didnt like at ALL. But, after understanding what it was all about (at about an hour in) it really started to shine & ended up being a darn good movie.
8/10

The Invisible Man (2020)

Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
JennyFromBlockD 4 points 4 years ago.

This was pure & utter garbage. It really highlighted as a whole how bad this trilogy really was. I think it may have ruined Star Wars for me, and that’s something I didn’t think was possible. Was enjoying Mandalorian till I watched this, and now I haven’t watched an episode since e4 lol.

Worst star wars movie ever. I’m done with the franchise.
