It is over 1000 km from Kiev to Novgorod. It would take over a month to walk that far, but they make it look like its just around the corner.

Star Trek: Discovery (2017) S3 E10

The writing for this series just keeps going from bad to worse.

The Blackout (2019)

There is now a series, based on this film.

Greenland (2020)

I really don’t understand this. There are a million deep caves all along the Appalachians. They could have just gone down in one of them and saved a lot of trouble.

The New Mutants (2020)

Would be good if they could (yet again) stop pushing their PC agenda nonsense. I guess Hollyweird has too much money that they can afford to lose millions on each of these films.

2067 (2020)

This movie was REALLY bad. The logic of this plot is completely messed up. Why would you go to the future to save the past? And why couldn’t they find an actor who’s not such a simpering crybaby?

The Clan of the Cave Bear (1986)

Unfortunately the dialogue subtitles are only in Swedish. I tried uploading the subtitles but it doesn’t work.

Mortal (2020)

Couldn’t they find one single Norwegian-American actor to fill this role…I mean someone believable? And an Indian actress as a State Department employee…instead of someone without even an American accent? Time to stop ruining movies with characters that don’t fit the roles. It distracts from the story.

Terminator: Dark Fate (2019)

Watchable, but yet another uninspiring grrl pwr rehash, heavily stealing plot points from the older franchise, while imbuing it with even more plot holes and boring dialogue. It doesn’t really carry the franchise storyline any farther and is just a CGI fest. Regrettably very forgettable. 4/10.

Land of the Lost (2009)

Elementary school humor, but if you have nothing better to do some evening, it provides some entertainment.

Gretel & Hansel (2020)

A new twist on an old story, plus creepy synth music.

Northern Exposure (1990) S2 E7
Luvlinguae 1 points 4 years ago*.

This is not true about the Janissaries. The were Balkan children kidnapped by the Ottoman Turks and forced to conver to Islam and become Sultan’s private army and to also go back into the Balkans and kill their former Christian compatriots. It’s a horrible chapter of European history.

“Northern Exposure” indeed! What a great epidsode!

The Passion of the Christ (2004)
The Two Popes (2019)

The Vidia version has subs, if you click the CC button. One of the best films I have seen in a very long time. A fair, humorous, and balanced approach to both Popes.

The Witcher (2019) S1 E7

A whole repeated sequence. I can barely follow this terrible writing.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000) S2 E19

By far, one of the creepiest CSI episodes ever. I remember this particular one 17 years after it aired.
