I have nothing but props and kudo’s to the writers, researchers, medical staff on the set for producing this episode. The focus with 1 story was about elderly and medicare/medicaid. The information they were discussing was absolute brilliance. Short and concise scripted basic knowledgeable information. As a caregiver to an elderly parent, I am learning how confusing the medicare system can be. To learn more about medicare practices, rules, and nursing facility regulations you can google to your hearts content. The information can be its own ‘Encyclopedia Medicannica’. This is not the forum to explain, compare, and contrast, the dialog/script VS Medicare. Do your own research, become informed if you think, if you know, you will be the one taking care of a family member in the future.

As for the flit and flutter of nurses hovering around GIGI and her daddy. How cute was that? It’s about time they introduced a love interest for Conrad. And, (giggle) the shock and horror Gigi exclaimed to her dad about how rude Billie was to a kid at the day care center. Then Billie had to explain herself to Conrad. Apparently, Billie has already proven poor parenting skills.

I loved the interplay of narcissistic EGO’s tonight coming to a head with the Surgical Coach and the ‘Best King’s of Surgery at Chastain’. Well Played, Kit!!!

Boyfriends of Christmas Past (2021)
moongoddess 1 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

This was an enjoyable twist, and, altered adaptation on an old Dickens Christmas story, A Christmas Carol. I’m sure plenty of us, women, as well as men, will relate to it. I know I do. We all have our own relationship and commitment fears, triggered by childhood, and beyond, experiences. It’s in how we embrace, or reject, those moments in time that mold our futures.

Nantucket Noel (2021)

Another beautiful hallmark holiday movie with real Nantucket histories peppered in. I didn’t know the story behind it being called ‘The Grey Lady’. All my life I thought it was nicknamed that because all the houses and businesses were painted grey. LOL, live and learn.

WOW….what a deeply evolving and enlightening episode. So many avenues being taken. But the one Jamie is about to tackle is going to be a hard pill to swallow now that he’s aware that his own dad might be behind the murder attempt on the Dutton family. Will Jamie confront his biological father, or, show continued loyalty to the Dutton Family? Will Jamie tell John and Cayce his discovery? Looking forward to watching Beth take the Equities Group down from the inside.

Hi Moon. You ever watch Eureka? Niall Matter stars in it.

No, sorry, it’s not a sappy Hallmark holiday movie.

Nope, never watched it. Nor heard of it. Maybe I’ll check it out some day. Thanks for the tv show suggestion.

Christmas in My Heart (2021)

I cried a lot through this one. Such a wonderful music filled love story. And to see Sheryl Lee Ralph in this had me squealing. Sheryl’s breakthrough BroadwayMusical role was Deena Jones in, Dreamgirls!!! She, also, stared in tv shows Moesha, Search For Tomorrow, and, It’s a Living. And, currently portraying President Kelly Wade on Motherland: Fort Salem.

Another wonderful sappy hallmark holiday movie. Lost love because of meddling parents, find each other once again 30 years later. And a young lady who canceled her wedding finds love again.

Christmas Sail (2021)
moongoddess 1 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

This was absolutely enjoyable. The process of losing a loved one and coping around the holidays can be tough for some people. They just shut down. It takes a village to lift them out of the funk they put themselves in. The sailing puns were hysterical, lighthearted.

It, also, sometimes takes the innocence, spunk, and, joy of a grandchild to lift a grandparents grief into joy, too.

It’s worth the watch.

Thanks for the early upload!!!

Great sleuthing, Clay. Now the hard decision comes. Will you sit on this eureka knowledge forever, or, expose Jason’s memory problems and judgement call lapses during the OP? And SONNY!!! Shame on you for your lapse in judgement to not inform your girlfriend that you, and the team, were being hospitalized for observation.

You, Me & The Christmas Trees (2021)
moongoddess 1 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Your classic ‘Sabotage the competition holiday mystery movie’. 2 tree farms vying for the town square tree lighting. One farms trees are drying up after being cut. The Tree Whisperer finds a solution, but, then the tree at town square starts to wither. As does her new love relationship…or does it?. Before she can leave town she stumbles across Tweedledee and Tweedledum and their herbicide/poison truck. Snaps her proof and goes back to townsquare to save the holiday tree and point the finger to the real person who destroyed the competitors trees. A very tenderhearted story.

Am i the only 1 who wants to take hair sheers to Georges 2 horns on her head? That hair coif is driving me nuts. It’s so not a good look on her, nor anyone. She needs a new hair do.

This episode was very refreshing and hysterical to watch 2 grown men magically turned into teenagers again.

I love a good ‘back to the future’ and ‘groundhog day’ holiday story. This did not disappoint. Loved the ending. Fun to see a few familiar faces from afternoon soaps, and, Doc Brown(back to the future). Seriously, such a great nod to his train traveling time machine in BTTF.

Avery heartwarming and bittersweet holiday story. It hints at the big medical dilemma mid way through, but doesn’t title it till closer to the end of the film. 1 illness that should always be discussed in families, never shunned or hidden.

Even though he was never really gone, I’m glad Hawkins is back at Chastain.

I wonder if they will put that into the script. I bet the entire cast gets the twins mixed up even while on set.

Welcome to Rivervale, Enjoy your 5 week stay.

Things kick off like a TWILIGHT ZONE episode!!! I loved how Jughead was narrator and loved this nod to a very classic old TV show(Twilight Zone). This is the first of a 5 episode supernatural mirror universe tale, complete with a long overdue crossover with Sabrina Spellman, during 1 of the next episodes. This tale is gonna be EPIC! I loved this Gothic Folk Horror Twist tonight. Cannot wait to see the next 4 episodes. Each one having it’s own horror sub-genre twist.

Still strange to fathom she’s still the only little one on the set. Aside from the child day care center group of kids. And Leela finally gets a backbone with her parents. Loving that real life sisters are playing sisters on this show. Rare to have that happen with celebrity families.

This 1 was a gas. I couldn’t stop laughing, and, crying. The funniest bit was about Frankenstein and Myrrh. LMAO. And for you young whippersnappers, the phrase, ‘it was a gas’ is an old 1960s phrase meaning something is funny. I enjoyed yet another Hallmark Holiday Movie.

Dickinson (2019) S3 E4
moongoddess 0 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Such a wild menagerie going on in this episode. Fantasy vs Reality. Escapism vs Realism. And Lavinia’s attempt to connect with her emotional side concerning the soldiers, and, plight of the nation during that time is utterly insane. Sleeping in the barn, getting all muddy, and bringing Fleas into the house. Levinia is literally escaping from realism.

Supergirl (2015) S6 E20
moongoddess 3 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Fantastic sentiments all around! Loved seeing old cast members return for the big battle made the history books. Bittersweet ending. It was methodical, and, heart tugging emotional. I enjoyed Kara and Winn singing at the wedding. Lena’s fashion, and, personality transformations were phenomenal. The CGI was over the top perfection. Glad it did not have a rushed time jump at the end. Will miss it.

Yellowstone (2018) S4 E2
moongoddess 0 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Such a wonderful episode filled with so much emotional healing as they struggle to move forward. Loving the orphan-teenager addition to the ranch. Can’t wait to see how this new dynamic makes or breaks Beth and Rip. Will we see more of Rips back story because of the similarities in personality between Rip and Carter? Time will tell as the season progresses.

Sad to see “Jimmy’ leaving the Y-Ranch. That scene with John and Jimmy is bittersweet. Sending Jimmy off to another ranch in Texas. This was the spin-off scene for the ‘4 sixes’(6666) tv series in development. Wonder if we will see Jimmy in that series all healed up, or, become worse. Will he make it on the 6666 Ranch? Will Trevor and Jimmy get along? Hope to see cross over episodes between Yellowstone and 4 sixes?

I’ve been enjoying the ancestral chats in both episodes. The 3 second exchanges, and, the longer scene chats about the Yellowstone Ranch history. All setting up the Yellowstone prequel, 1883, which is supposedly set to air their pilot season beginning this December(2021). I’m sure there’s going to be many flashback scene’s in Yellowstone this season as they set up the premise/plot for 1883.

Yellowstone (2018) S4 E1
PonderThis 1 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Jefferson White (aka “Jimmy”) has popped up on the new drama Invasion. Not sure if he will have a continuing part in Invasion since he seems to be leaving the Yellowstone Ranch. Not sure if his departure is long term or not. I liked his character and would have loved to see it develop even more. One character leaves and another arrives in the form of a 14 year old named “Chubby” or Carter. Since Beth can’t have children, guess this is her chance to be a mother. Would this be a good thing or a bad thing? Time will tell, only time will tell.

moongoddess 1 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I read an article about the casts move from Utah to Montana to film this, and future, seasons. They quarantined on site for 2 weeks before filming began. Plus, cast contract’s were given an additional addendum, with a pandemic quarantine requirement clause stating they were not allowed to leave the set at all, for any reason, or they’d be let go/fired; not allowed to return. The clause was inserted to keep everyone from possibly contracting the virus from outside extra sources. Sure, perhaps a bit extreme, but, likely necessary per the 8 months it takes to film the episodes. Had they not added this protocol and 1 or 3 or 7 cast members came down with the virus, they’d need to postpone production and push the season 4 premiere back till 2022. I would think that since you saw him on the new drama of Invasion, 1 of 2 options factor in: he likely left sometime during the season filming, or, after they wrapped filming.

Excellent start to the new season. Loved when John fired his home care nurse. I knew he wasn’t gonna stay down once he was home. Beth is on a warpath. Go get’im girl. Jaime turned his back on the family. And he’s still gonna play the concerned child while he didn’t get a scratch on him, or, a hole through him. And Rip!!! Now there’s a man on a mission…

Another wild episode. Emily is starting to really lose her self with this idealism that her dad has forgiven her brother. So naive.

And enter, SoJourner Truth. But wait, Betty being the biographer? Doesn’t add up. Unless, Betty used a pen name. According to the historical biographical information on Isabella Baumfree, her first biographer was her friend, Olive Gilbert. Book published by William Lloyd Garrison. Isabella Baumfree was Sojourner’s birth name. She took the name Sojourner in her adult years. If you want to know more about Sojourner, research her.

Another great episode. The struggle to be a family, the fact Emily could never accept a divided household. Yet, she herself was conflicted because she wanted Sue, but could not have her because she honored the sanctity of marriage between a man and woman. The soldiers who came home after the battle, but went back in to fight once more, also divided their families, their friends.

But, that could take a whole new season to accomplish. I’m gonna miss this show when this season is over.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2016) S7 E4
moongoddess 2 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Can this show get any better? Seriously, this episode was The Bee’s Knee’s. What a clever way to foil a potential Bump Off, albeit how bad it goes against the Legend’s timeline rules. Loved the Gin Mills, especially the Zari Party, and the Ghost whiteness of the Bullet Blonde’s was so metaphorically spot on! And the choreography that foiled the Gatecrasher’s intentions initial intentions to take down the BB’s. Swell!

For you young whippersnapper’s who haven’t figured out my slang banter above, I am using popular slang terminology from the 1920’s.

The Bee’s Knee’s: Awesome person/thing
Bump Off: Murder someone
Gin Mills: Speakeasy’s.
Gatecrasher: Uninvited ‘guests’ without invitation, password, lack of paying admission.
Swell: Excellent/Brilliant

The ghost white of the BB’s is metaphorical because it represents the fact they are time jumpers and ‘cannot be caught’.

Amy Pemberton’s(Gideon’s) vocals are very impressive! A very talented singer.

The Wonder Years (2021) S1 E7
moongoddess 1 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

This was a hard 1 to watch because I am a caregiver of my elderly parent. The topic tonight dealt with elderly folk losing their independence due to health issues. Elderly folk have so much pride built up by the time they are over 70, that sometimes they fail to realize how much harm they put others in by driving when they shouldn’t be. The tougher job is the child having to parent their own parent and remove the livelihood, the independence, the lifelong driving privilege, away before the elder adult harm themselves and others. Sadly, sometimes it actually takes an accident for that elderly parent to relinquish the car keys.
