I was seriously disappointed with season 2 (Well with at least the finale, Episode 7) I found myself saying, “okay, now where’s the rest? That’s it? This cannot be the same show as the one I saw in season 1.” looks very disappointed and let down I feel like there was almost no substance, no development, no conclusion - because there wasn’t. Not for this show! It did not do itself justice and did not meet its own bar it set in Season 1. If there is going to be a Season 3, I hope it can redeem itself! 😢

Carl Sagan’s narration at the end of this episode (last approx. 4 mins or so) was truly wonderful. I had tears in my eyes. Wow

I really like this show, but was a little apprehensive, was wondering how well or not well they’d the writers would do with the time travel and with starting out a new season…. it could go either rather easily; really well or REALLY badly. Lol.
And yay! I was pleasantly surprised- it was a great start to new season! Also, I’m pretty happy with how they structured the sequences/scenes, dialogue, explaining where we, the viewers, are picking the story up after such a long hiatus, break, off season. (In terms of recapping, I liked how they didn’t have loads of flashbacks and highly detailed conversations explaining what happened last season. We had a recap of sorts, but only a short and to the point update, dropped in natural-ish conversations between characters. Last season was not my favorite so I’m glad the show’s writers didn’t spend half this episode going over all that. Plus, it leaves space for the characters to catch up with one another, a little at time, which to me is better, and doesn’t come off as forced.)
So here’s hoping the rest of the season will turn out to be great!!! So, other than just waiting, and watching more epsiodes, “Only TIME will tell!” Hehehe I don’t think I could be sillier or more on the nose if I tried. LOL! 😉😆😂
Haha I said the very same thing about “that voice” and would not have guessed, although I know the actor quite well from other stuff over the years.☺
That was the most depressing episode yet. I know these episodes are filmed pretty much the previous year or at least the previous 6 months but to hear them even mention Covid-19 was heartbreaking. I wonder if there will even be a Season 17. I seriously doubt it.
It was heartbreaking. And I’ve been wondering the same thing about next season!!! Maybe if they can’t film all of part of season 17, maybe they’ll do at least a few specials or something..?! So we don’t loose touch with them, so to speak! lol.
Also, Fingers crossed that they all are still okay, didn’t get covid-19, and will be back next season in this origianl show format or any other kind of show, weekly episodical series! I’d miss watching them too much to go a whole year without seeing them!!! 😢

If you love CSI as much as I did/have, then get ready for a limited CSI series! It was suppose to air on October 6, 2020 but due to COVID-19, it has been pushed back. CSI first aired on October 6, 2000 and spawned a couple of spin offs but none were as good as the original CSI. No new release date has been given, but stay tuned!

This movie is in my “watch once a year/ classics” list. SO MANY funny scenes, they make me smile just thinking about them. But maybe my favorite scene of all is the campfire, chanting & dancing scene! LMBO “To the window…. to the wall” hahahahahaha AMAZING and pure gold! And also at the end, “let’s do this!” Lol 5 out of 5 stars for sure!
And she’s also in the tv drama (with Kevin Costner) “Yellowstone” and the tv drama “Britannia “.
I’ve been thrilled to see her in such good roles the past few years, it’s about time! She is such a good actress! :)
And speaking of her most recent roles… She will be in Sherlock Holmes 3 (Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows) Wish I knew when it would be released! All I know is that it defo won’t be Dec 2021 sadly.
I had totally forgotten about this show until someone mentioned it in chat recently. I was hoping to check out a few episodes but the links aren’t up yet. From my recollection, it was a mehhh so-so decent show, but with some very funny and very embarrassing situations. I remember that I didn’t watch it religiously nor regularily, just watched it when there wasn’t much else on at night. (Back in the day, when stuck with only cable tv airings, prior to finding this website!!!) But it passed the time and like I said, had some hilarious situations or stories. So when the links get here, I’ll have to revisit this and watch an episode or two, at least, to see if I’ve accurately remembered it!

So, I decided to cheer myself up, and also pass some time, by watching an episode of Big Brother!!! “Yay!” Right? No, frustratingly wrong!!!!! Grrrrr. I was really excited to see how the Veto competition would turn out!!! (There was only one, well… or maybe two houseguests, at the most, who could possibly ruin Memphis’s plans. And of course, the ONE person who I didn’t want to win, who could not win, did in fact win! I’m so soooooo annoyed! I have so much more to share about this competition, this episode and who I’m rooting for and who I’m not. But now, after the worst case scenario, not only am I exhausted, I’m too disappointed too even try to finish my review tonight. 😒😢😴 I’ll try again tomorrow.

At least so far, I think this season is the best I’ve seen in forever…. All of these Allstar players are really on their game and play at a higher level than I’m used to seeing! I shouldn’t be surprised at how well they play the game- considering that they are dubbed “Allstars” who not only played before but played really well in their respective seasons. [Except for David who was booted out of the house on night 1 of last season, poor guy.] But with that said, I’m still happily surprised to see almost all of them playing at full speed ahead, right off the bat! Whoo-hooo! Lol! And its pretty darn cool to see many of them having/using some sort of BB intuition, instantly detecting when someone isn’t exactly being 100% truthful, omitting parts, knowing who’s in an alliance with whom and etc. 😂😂 All of which is amazing to me, since the house packed with platinum or basically professionak liars and manipulators! 😂😂😂 I don’t know how they all don’t go mad/insane or get so paranoid they blow up their game! Something else I find pretty cool about this season is that, for the most part, they all keep game play and personal feelings and opinions separate from one another. As I mentioned, “for the most part” haha excluding Nicole F’s and Jannelle’s petty beef or snarky comments to one another and Memphis’ condescending nomination speech when he put David up last week. I suppose what I’m trying to say, allbeit long-winded, is that this cast seems much more respectful to one another… so far.
And jeepers! I really didn’t plan on writting this much! More like ramble on! Haha. I must have too much time on my hands and been quarantined at home for way too long! 😂😂😂
Yes, it is hard to explain without spoilers. I have finished season 2 now and have started writing a review of it, but nothing I care to share at the moment, bc it’s just my ramblings and not put together. I apologize for not getting back to you sooner, I just saw the notification of your reply here… I have been unwell and totally stressed out.
But back to your question (without spoilers) Season 2 was very different from season 1. I would say it feels like it lagged for some of the season, to me had a kind of “Nikita-esque” feel but as the season goes on it does develope a bit more, or get back a little bit to original storylines…. it did not end the way I thought it would but I was okay with it and happy with how the story unfolded. Others may like it or not, everyone’s different. But in my opinion, it is definately worth a watch… even just to see how it unfolds. I don’t know if this helped at all but I hope it did. One of my pet favourites. It was very underrated even when it first came out and nobody I know has ever heard about it, let alone having viewed it…also it is one of Dan Aykroyds best in my opinion. The cast too is an impressive line up.
I agree, this show was much better than the movie (which was also really good) and should of kept going.
The main characters are broody and depressed and they seem to pass it around to each other. Cardinal is damaged goods and Delorme, damaged as well, thinks she can fix him. Now he has another devastating event to deal with that just might push him over the edge.
I hate when shows become predictable. I will keep watching.

As with many other series, some episodes and seasons of this series are better than others. I really enjoyed the overall feel/vibe and plot (s) of season 1.
Season 2 and 3 sort of switch gears or go on slightly different tangents and seem to focus more on character development. But, the most recent episodes (in season 4), to me, feels like a return to how the first season was.
All in all, I’m glad I stuck with the show bc I really have liked/enjoyed it. So, I hope that if you stick with it that you won’t be disappointed
Depending on the specific actor(s) and length of the cgi scene with integration for live motion capture and editing/compositing, you are probably 9 times outta 10 correct. But I don’t think this is why there’s a lot more conversation (dialogue) and character development in this series, so far this season… thb though, I don’t know for sure since I haven’t researched it, I only have my speculation or guesses. I’d hazard some guesses as:

The cost of course is a major factor lol … And having mostly cgi integrated action scenes, like you you said prolly really isn’t cost effective. But I just want to point out that there are likely lots of reasons why and that I don’t think it detracts from the show in any way… at least thus far. This movie was absolutely top notch, across the board! 5/5 from me! It is based off of a true story btw… which for me made it all the more compelling, gripping, meaningful, and profound. The acting, cast choice, cinematography, soundtrack and writing/dialogue was awesome! I don’t want to get into specifics and spoil anything, so I’ll just leave it here by saying, I’d recommend this to anyone interested in medical, drama, true-story-based shows/movies. On my favorite list for sure. 👍👍
