Elon voted for Biden but even he has come to realize the left has gone so far left they fell off a cliff into a world of crazy.Same with Bill. He isn’t following that herd off a cliff.

Maher and Musk are, by their own admission, moderates. They are critical of the far right and the far left, but both lean left. Musk is too flakey to predict how he will vote, but seeing as he is the 2nd richest person on the planet I think it’s safe to predict that it will be in the direction he thinks will be most profitable for him. Maher said in this very episode “I don’t care if it’s Joe Biden’s head in a jar of blue liquid, I’m voting for him”. Republicans have pushed the political spectrum so far to the right that today’s moderates would have historically been considered left of center.
The YMCA and orange clown references killed me.
I’ve been to more Motorhead shows than I can remember and was lucky enough to get to meet Lemmy twice. The 1st time was at a Dallas show in 1986. They were playing with Wendy O Williams, Cro-Mags, and Scratch Acid. A friend who worked at Z Rock scored me some tickets and backstage passes. I got there early and pretty quickly figured out that the evening wasn’t going to be what I had hoped for. Lemmy and Wendy were bickering over who got to use the only dressing room at the venue and neither was engaging much with anyone. I did get to say hi though and enjoyed the show. My best memories of that night were hearing Lemmy snap at Wendy “You don’t need a dressing room. You don’t wear any damn clothes.” and partying with the guys from Scratch Acid after the show. Two of their members would go on to form The Jesus Lizard.
The 2nd encounter was a very different experience and a memory that I treasure. Motorhead was in town for SXSW in 2010. They played two shows and Lemmy was plugging the world premiere of this documentary at the film portion of the festival. I knew they were coming and had secured a temp job working at the convention center where the press junket and screening would take place. I staked out the service hallway behind the room where an interview with a local paper had taken place and was delighted when he exited alone. Much to my own chagrin, I blurted out “Lemmy!’ much louder than I had intended and he turned quickly in my direction to assess the situation. His slightly widened eyes relaxed as he looked me over and he smiled at me.
I couldn’t believe my luck. The hallway was deserted and I had him all to myself. There was Lemmy and my first impression was how Texan he looked from top to bottom. The well worn, personally molded cowboy hat. Unadorned, black western shirt with snap buttoms. Dessert plate sized belt buckle holding up black jeans and the obligatory going out on the town cowboy boots. Expensive, custom-made, Texas-themed boots with a large single star featured prominently front and center on each one.
He stretched out his hand and we shook. I uttered some of the usual fan banalities (big fan, blah blah blah) and recounted the first time I had met him. He laughed at the Wendy memory and then spent almost half an hour retelling little stories about her. He was charming, gracious, and funny af. As he was leaving I was inspired to bum a Marlboro from the pack protuding from his shirt pocket (I don’t do the autograph thing). I still have that cigarette stored in a little glass tube somewhere in all my crap.
Production resumed it had already started prior to the strikes.
Yeah, but with all the changes they’ve decided to make since filming started there is a lot of work yet to do.
Juno Temple, Jon Hamm, Joe Keery, and Jennifer Jason Leigh star in the upcoming season, which follows a housewife whose past begins to slowly unravel after she lands in trouble with local authorities.
wut?
I didn’t respond because I figured she knew what I was thinking without me having to voice it.
Some links are subbed, some are dubbed. Streamwish is dubbed, if that’s what you are looking for.
My favorite member of the Addams family. With Burton at the helm there is hope that it will be more than just another teen angst, coming of age drama. Fingers crossed.
We just like the site and don’t acknowledge shite. Is that the team you mean? GR is cool with all of us. I hope we’re down-voted more. It means the trolls are getting some exercise. lol
I’m pretty sure that everyone would agree that I’m an unrepentant, troublemaking, a-hole. ≧◡≦
A perfect example of how the media stokes division by feeding fuel to the culture wars. It seems that everyone has picked a side to pander to. The wealthy telling us who to hate and what to care about while the politicians they’ve bought do little to improve our lives.
it’s still a dangerous sport with the risks they take on stunts. Case in point Owen Hart died falling to his death when equipment failed him while performing in Kansas City Missouri
someone should start a triggered white folks movement.oh yeah, Faux News. nm
I thought it was because they didn’t have electricity.
The fact that people would upvote your comment reaffirms my belief that there is no hope for humanity.
The site was purged of links after the lawsuit. Uploaders are doing their best to supply links to stuff being currently released as well as filling requests for older stuff. Instead of complaining maybe try to be grateful for their efforts, click the requests links tab and have a little patience. Another option is to ask for your money back. Oh, wait…
Omgoodness! This looks so great! On my watchlist!
You must be doing the same thing I am right now, looking for new stuff to watch coming up.
One sided viewpoint . It takes two to tangle . Not man or women is solely responsible.
You’ve got to be kidding, right? Most societies since the beginning of humanity have been patriarchies. Operating from a position of power versus doing so as a member of an oppressed group are not equal comparisons. FYI, having a different viewpoint doesn’t necessarily mean that viewpoint has any real value. Facts don’t care about your feelings. BTW, the saying is it takes two to tango. Which is ironic because, like most dances, the male takes the lead. lol
It’s one thing to boycott a company and never buy their product again, but destroying stuff that you obviously like, you paid good money for it, has got to be the stupidest form of protest.
I don’t. Not one bit. Narrow minded gets you narrow choices. That’s life: Que Sera, Sera.

I found a site last night that actually tells folks which shows and movies are “non-woke” so that their delicate sensibilites aren’t subjected to any of the progress that society is making. Kind of sad and funny at the same time.
I guess we don’t see the humour in bias or discrimination [of any form] amusing, ironic, or tolerable. As Paul Simon wrote in “You Can Call Me Al” Bonedigger, bonedigger. Dogs in the moonlight. Far away my well-lit door. Mr. Beerbelly, Beerbelly. Get these mutts away from me. You know I don’t find this stuff. Amusing anymore. ٩(•̤̀ᵕ•̤́๑)ᵒᵏᵎᵎᵎᵎ
When you live in the southern US you learn to find some humor in the ignorance that you’re surrounded by or it will drive you nuts.
Thought to be “unfilmable”, Apple has created a visually stunning and beautifully told adaptation that may well be able to overcome the one shortcoming of the source material, a lack of character development.
My only complaint is that I won’t be able to binge all of it right now.
Very pleased to see one of my favorite ‘bad girl’ comics brought to life. Not real keen on the angsty teenage girl aspect of it, but that’s kind of hard to avoid nowadays. I’ve only watched the 1st episode, but I hope that will be toned down as they get further into the story. If they honor the original material this should be a hell of a ride.
In the wealthiest nation on the planet, how is the epidemic of homelessness now plaguing us NOT the top poltical issue?
It’s impossible for me to have faith in our criminal justice system anymore. Do they get it right most of the time? Yes, but the Innocence Project has freed 232 people so far that collectively served a total of 3,555 years for crimes they did not commit and that is horrifying. 26% of those cases involved a false confession and 5% pleaded guilty to crimes they did not commit.
There are many reasons why I don’t support the death penalty, but the fact that innocent people can and have been wrongfully put to death is the primary one.
Finally got around to watching this movie. I’ve never been really afraid of storms and many a hot summer night was spent in the storm cellar. Tornado’s just boggle the mind like the one that tore through my little home town in Oklahoma. Took out the hay barn, drove wheat straw into the sheet rock in the house as if the straw were nails. We see in the movie a cell phone imbedded in the truck window and yes, a tornado’s power can to that. At least you can run from a tornado but not an earthquake……..
You might be interested in the Twister reboot coming in July. It’s claimed to be a stand alone movie with no ties to the original storyline. https://www.primewire.tf/movie/1467422-twisters
Come on now.. you know we have to watch it to complain about it 😃 That’s the fun part
Hate watching has got to be the most asinine and pointless thing I’ve ever heard of.
they better get a season 2
Odds are pretty good that it will. The response from viewers, gamers and those that know nothing of the game, have been very favorable, as has been the response from critics, gamer media as well as mainstream critics. Plus, the California Film commission has awarded the show $25 million in tax credits to move filming of a 2nd season to Cali. Given that the 1st season had a budget of $153 million, that would be a huge influence on the decision to go forward with a 2nd season.
I love that not only does Warwick Davis get to reprise his role in this, but his real daughter is playing his daughter in the show and his son is his stunt double.
I approached this with a bit of trepidation, but just 15 minutes in on the first episode and my fear had been transformed into joy. Mel Brooks has been let off his leash and the result is the rare instance of a resurrected property doing justice to the original. His clout and respect in Hollywood meant that he was able to collect an ensemble cast that is impressive.
Considering banks are paying tens of billions in property taxes (or should be and probably aren’t) and upkeep on over 7 million empty homes, and that we’ve seen recently it takes less than half a million dollars to bribe US senators I think the ‘how’ is glaringly obvious. The why is a bit more nebulous to me ‘cause I’d think some wealthy capitalist would be able to make bank on a scheme providing the 500k homeless these cheap as hell homes with government subsidied utilities and infrastructure.
I guess a better question would have been, how can we convince voters that the individuals that our society has intentionally marginalized (addicts, ex-cons, the mentally ill) are worthy of compassion? Studies have shown that when these people are reduced to living on the streets they are a far greater financial drain on resources than if you give them a place to live. When their basic needs are met they are far more likely to seek out services to address those issues that led to their homelessness. It costs society more, in so many ways, to not care for these people.
Did he personally warn you not to watch season 4 starring Liam Hemsworth as Geralt?
Cavill has not been shy about expressing his concerns that the show is steering further and further from the source material and why he thinks that is a mistake. I happen to agree with him. The first season was great. Each subsequent one less so. I can’t imagine how exchanging one hot actor for another without addressing the deviation into the realm of mundanity is giong to make it more appealing. So the answer is yes. for those of us that think this would be better by sticking to the feel of the books, he did warn us of what is to come. Will I continue to watch? Probably, but a part of me will mourn for what we could have had.
This could have had value as part of a larger conversation about objectification and how it can negatively impact people’s lives, but it failed to take the subject seriously. But who am I to judge? The mere fact that it offends so many even though it harms no one validates its right to exist imo.
This stuff used to be sci fi, now it’s sometime in the near future
I’m much more frightened that Handmaid’s Tale might predict our near future.
LOL and yet lefties continue to vote in the same do nothing dems for decades. Dems care for nothing but power. They will crush the U.S. economically for it without blinking an eye.
Illogical. If the country is destroyed economically, what would they have power over? lol
Reich is brilliant, but make no mistake, he is neoliberal to his core. He strongly supported NAFTA, which killed US manufacturing, and when he finally figured out that Clinton was a fraud he quit instead of staying to fight for what he believed in. Though he has long claimed to support increasing affordable housing, he was quick to oppose a project in his own toney Berkley neighborhood. That said, he still has a lot of great ideas on how to improve the lives of the poor and middle class.
35 years for ‘attempted’ possession of marijuana. Let that sink in.
Please post another links this one we cant download it. Thanks
This is the proper place to ask for that. https://www.primewire.tf/forum/thread/788
That was awesome. Rarely can a horror movie keep my interest anymore, but the tongue-in-cheek humor, great acting and unique premise did so with ease.
did you ask for a trailer https://youtu.be/s_76M4c4LTo and it looks good
there are trailers here. you have to click on Trailers now for them to show up.
This reminds me of the Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571 was the chartered flight of a Fairchild FH-227D from Montevideo, Uruguay, to Santiago, Chile, that crashed in the Andes mountains on October 13, 1972. Not sure if this is a movie about this plane crash or not and the decision they made to stay alive for 72 days.
It is, as was the original adaptaion https://www.primewire.tf/movie/235295-alive The 2 films vary a bit in how they portray the series of events that unfolded. Given that this was more authentic in that they used Spanish speaking actors and the movie is in Spanish, I’m a bit disappointed that we’re getting the dubbed version. That’s probably for the best though seeing as how the only subtitles offered here are for an episode of Supernatural (wtf).
An interesting side note - Actor Carlitos Páez plays his father, Carlos Páez Rodríguez, a surviving member of the rugby team on that flight. Also of note is that the uncredited narrator at the beginning of the Alive film was Rodriguez’s own father, Carlos Páez Vilaró.
Good news/Nice surprise —it was for me anyway… S1 of 1883 is 10 eps, not just 6!
New ep next week.
And the remaining episodes will air weekly from here on.
