It’s shameful how many of their stories are about how crappy our health care system is.
The film has made nearly seven hundred thousand American dollars so it’s going to be breaking even within the next week or two.
Nothing like what they were hoping for, I’m sure. I imagine they are scaling back a bit on those ambitious plans of theirs for a whole Poohverse.
Meanwhile, Wesley is chilling in another dimension not giving a damn? Poor Will Wheaton.
The budget on the 1st one was $50k and wound up making over $5 million at the box office plus VOD and streaming. I’m sure the thinking was that with a bigger budget, they could make a better movie and cash in even more, and it was a better movie, marginally. IMDb rating on the 1st is 2.9 and 5.4 on the 2nd. What they didn’t take into account is that while the 1st movie was a novelty that piqued the interest of many, it wasn’t nearly good enough to make people want more and to the best of my knowledge, 2 hasn’t broken even yet.

The first one was bad enough and a lot of people gave low rates. Even so, why would they want to make sequel? This is what I don’t understand. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

I say, at least in this instance (There genuinely are SEVERAL Stephen King flick, which I believe COULD use a re-make, but a TRUE re-make, by previous, historical design… should have some updates by King, on the way it’s made. Or, an additional few scenes… representing unheard of material, which never made it into the original, because of budget considerations, or un-agreed scene selections, or new storyline additions, etc…), “The original, was the best.” If you’re not improving on the original, then… Why bother??? Although, I do love the Muscle Car scene! That was intense!
3/5 ✨
good but not anywhere close to the original “Sissy Spacek
was the original” and creepy scary girl
“On February 14, 2014, Page, who at that time presented as female, came out as gay. On December 1, 2020, Page came out on social media as a trans man.” Therefore when filming of this movie began on May 6, 2008, Elliot was known as ‘Ellen’ a female.
George Carlin explains in his own words where he came from, what motivated him, and why he is who he is. Carlin reveals a much more sensitive and thoughtful side of himself. His demeanor stands in stark contrast to his angry stage persona. This film was surprisingly touching.
based on true events very good well down love the actors Winston, Crowe
That’s not correct. She got an audition because of her husband (it was a favour) and DePalma originally wanted her to be Chris Hargensen, the mean-girl character whom Nancy Allen wound up playing. De Palma then called Spacek again — out of courtesy and Spacek showed up in a dress she had since childhood with massive amounts of vaseline in her hair. DePalma cast her because she captured a “beautiful, but poor girl who everyone immediately fell in love with”. Also, I was commenting on Sissy Spacek herself when I wrote she’s not bland. And she isn’t. Thanks for commenting! ☺
lol so what did i say by the way mr tin man yoiu have a tendency of jumping on my comments and further more i can copy and paste stuff as well i already new that about de palma didnt need to go and find it read it and copy and paste bye
PS this was actually brilliant i must say and the actors in it as well
i totally agree just look at blue bloods …they cancel awesome shows and yet crap like that is still going 15yrs on, British drama is awesome and further more just look at how many British dramas have been copied by the Americans (loads)
erm hello to be frank Sissy was picked for Carrie because of her blandness in the beginning of the film no make up no gimmicks just plain jane its only in the latter part of the film we saw her true beauty and then destroyed, that’s the part she had to play the daughter of the crazed bible basher mother even the clothes they picked for her were bland

such wonderous new tv series they come up with shame this is just another from the movie what is the point seen the movie so we all know whats going to happen seriously Hollywood and all the rest need to employ some new people with new ideas
wow such an original storyline…. oh wait i was being facetious, seriously this has been done like god knows how many times but at least we know it will be cancelled 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
is there any chance to get information, when or if there could be links to this series 2???
Bland? Sissy Spacek? Not at all; she’s got very defining facial features and huge, expressive eyes, combined with very light, freckled skin and strawberry blonde hair. She was perfect because she’s not bland; she has an extreme look that is unusual. Whereas Chloë Grace Moretz is a conventionally attractive blonde with all the earmarks of a “sex symbol”. Not so with Sissy, she has a very unusual, niche look, and for this film it is exaggerated. It was, and still is, a perfect resemblance to the character Stephen King wrote about in his book. ♥(ˆ⌣ˆԅ)

Kind of gross referring to Moretz, a 16 year old, as a sex symbol.
It’s gross indeed [at at that time, but she’s an adult now]. However, I’m not her agent, and I don’t determine how they present her to the public with her image. That’s Hollyweird for ya. ㋡
I’ve never played a Fallout game before but this is has to be one of my favorite series ever.

I enjoyed the first episode, great cast. Had me up yelling at the screen. Based on a Pulizer Prize winning novel.
Chloe would’ve made a great Chris! Well spotted!
She already looks like the character so it was just a matter of casting her in the Chris role.
No one’s denying that however Sissy went out of her way even in the audition to make herself look as plain looking as possible as it worked. Where as Chloe just looks to glamorous but she would have made for a great Chris tho.

could even very well be a very topical song with the lyrics…..and yeah..iconic band for a reason…. although the All Saints version was not bad as it was time period appropriate…
The Choir in the backgroundfrom the RHCP version would be a cool sound to play around with for an intro too…. I think I forget how legendary they are now, after listening to them for over 30yrs. Sometimes I wish it was 1991 again- at least musically!!…I love the great harmonies in the All Saints version. They are perfect and not autotune!!
I don’t ever wanna feeeeeeel, Like I did that day….
Hehe, I legit cannot think of one of their songs that I dislike.
