I’m just sad after this episode. Some players are unbelievably hypocritical, actually mean (not just rude) and have taken it to a personal level. If they are not bullies, they are acting like it. This was not fun to watch. Very disappointed.

BTW/FYI There wre no spoilers in this comment. Just speaking about generalities from the previous episodes.
The way Steffi has been playing drives me bonkers. She’s such a hypocrite. She acts and speaks to others like she’s so superior, like her opinion is a fact, simply as what she believes is truth. Bull crud. She also switched her votes earlier on, switched her allegiance. And now if anyone even thinks of thinking about something other than what she says, she wants, it almost comes off as if she’s personally going to make them pay for it bc she’s the judge jury and executuioner.
And Rob, thinks he’s the man, “the king,” which is also frustrating. Lots of Survivor players, well even most in fact, have ano over-healthy ego. Lol. But for some reason Rob also errks me! Likely bc I was a big supporter of his and his alliance early on. But now, not so much, …. nope. Players who act like they have this huge moral superiority really gets under my skin, irritates the heck out of me.
Survivor Australia is such a better game. The players in AU seem to have a much better understanding of the game, more interesting politics, great and interesting strategy, an all around higher level of game play. At least in the current season of both AU and SA. But here’s hoping some of the players will wake up and start trying to play the game, more than they have anyhow.
You never know! Survivor can change from one day to the next…. “Expect The Unexpected!!!!!”

The dialogue, banter, between these characters is the absolute best… ever! Thus has to be one of my all time favorite shows! And this episode, it’s now in my top, favorite Killjoy episodes!!! This show is just freaking amazing! Love it!

For only one episode in, it was good but not great. I don’t know what I was expecting. This episode wasn’t bad, not at all. I think that maybe bc I had such high expectations that no series could possibly live up to. So it wasn’t as good as I’d had imagined, but still a good episode… And also, its extremely rare for a series to be so fan’taz’mle that only one episode in and you’re in love with every character, every aspect of the storyline, etc. In short, I’m not jaded as of yet despite it being different than I thought, episode 1 did established the back ground info & did have a great introduction to the main characters…. And overall I am still quite looking forward to watching the rest of the season. 👍😉😆

I can’t believe I missed watching episode 1 the day that it aired! I’ve been waiting for this, for what feels like, … forever! 😀 I cannot wait to see how they translate the original onto the screen! fingers crossed it’s as good as I have been hoping it is!!!

This was a really great episode, great series, overall a really great show. The characters are simple and yet so complex… not only a great casting, but truly phenomenal acting. Same dichotomy with the storylines, simple and yet complicated.
This is not a happy go lucky series, by any stretch of the imagination. And usually I’m not the biggest fan of something that is “this gritty,” very serious and a little maybe even dark at times. And even in its harsher/ nail bitting parts of the storyline; when the show is conveying/exploring & the characters are trying to navigate through said darker side of humanity, it was so well executed & deliberately thought provoking that I was always intriged and wanted to see more, and would think, “what’s going to happen next?!” In other words— Wow, I was captivated from the start to the finish.
I’ll have to write a full review later, but for now; I’ll just say it this way…. this show gets 2 thumbs up 👍👍 AND 5 st⭐rs out of 5 st⭐rs from me!!!!! ☺👌❤😉

I really enjoy the twists and turns of this show. Pretty darn cool episodical murder mysteries. Some parts seem pretty obvious, but the way the main character gets to the truth, solves the cases, that’s the fun part. I really like how the show doesn’t take itself too seriously. 👍👍😉 I’m enjoying the ride. 😊

So excited that this is back!!! I love watching this competition/ show. The stunts, challenges look like so much fun…. minus the gross eating weird food challenges. Lol!

I can’t seem to put my finger on it…. but this seasons beginning felt lacking for some reason…? Idk why. I spent the first 15 minutes so thrilled that it’s back, lol. MAyre all the changes and etc. I loved the first 2 seasons so much. Myaybe that’s why. Hmm, time will tell. Still love the show. 😉😉😉

I need to know what happens next! Right now! Hehe. I can guess, some things are obvious. And yet, this show does such a great job with the characters, it is a either a surprise if a relief when it finally all plays out! Can’t wait to see the rest unfold!!!!

This was pretty good. I was surprised.

I haven’t even watched half of the series yet….. but wow!!!!
Yes, it can get a quite a bit dark, violent, sex scenes, lol… but with a hint of scifi off and on, more as you go along.
In a few places it seemed to lag, or truly just get a bit too dark for me. And yet!!!!! “Ah ah ah!!!” Shakes finger like the screen saver in the original jurassic park. It just keeps getting better. Hang in there but wow WOW wow! Interesting, thought provoking, action, schifi, drama, lots of great actors with good lines…. so far 4.5 stars out of 5!!

I’m sad. That’s all I’m going to say. 😢😢😢😢😢

I’m thrilled this is almost back for Season 2!! Yay! Such an interesting mix…. Sons of Anarchy and it’s own brand. Just enough of the 1st and it’s new spin. Hopefully the 2nd season is just as good. 😉

This episode was flipping awesome.

I was seriously disappointed with season 2 (Well with at least the finale, Episode 7) I found myself saying, “okay, now where’s the rest? That’s it? This cannot be the same show as the one I saw in season 1.” looks very disappointed and let down I feel like there was almost no substance, no development, no conclusion - because there wasn’t. Not for this show! It did not do itself justice and did not meet its own bar it set in Season 1. If there is going to be a Season 3, I hope it can redeem itself! 😢

IT’S BACK! Oh my goodness I’m thrilled.
Seriously, when I started watching this 1st new episode, I literally felt like, “Awww Hi there my friends! I have been missing ya like crazy!” To me that’s when you know a show is good, when you miss the characters like you would a best friend who’s been away on holiday and are finally back!!!
Out of shows like or similar to this one, this kind of: genre, style, acting, budget, it doesn’t take itself too serious, etc., this is really one of my favorites!!! I wasnt sure how the show would continue with the story without loose any of its whit…. but so far, wow! Just great! And holy toledo!!! As always the writing is just 100% on point, the story is great, just awesome! I’ve so missed the HILARIOUS banter and dialogue of my characters and love seeing how the adventure continues! 😊😊😊 Yay!!!!!

I really enjoyed this movie! I was very surprised it was as good as it was. Initally I was a little hesitant that this movie would be too cliché and therefore be simply another remake of the same or ruin its own spin on the whole lone female assasin genre; But that was definitely not the case here.
Yes the main character is female, in a seemingly mostly male world/ profession, she’s beautiful & tough, a bit damaged or from a not so perfect childhood as many as assasins likely would. So there are those classic Femme Fatal, Nikita similarities. And yet this movie, imo, sort of spun itself a little bit, just enough for it to be its own take on the genre… it is its own story, not simply a remake.
I also quite enjoyed that the film had some twists and turns and wasn’t simply just action and violence. The assasin isn’t just beautiful and daring, she isn’t just or only a very highly trained killer/ murderer, she’s smart and has her wits about her, she wants more out of life despite all of the characters telling her she can’t have the impossible.

Basically I think I’m trying to say that this movie isnt a new genre or something so brilliantly new that everyone will love it. But to me, it was more than some of its predecessors, just enough to be its own little gem of a story. It felt smarter or more interesting than some of the classic Female assasin stories.
2 thumbs up from me. And I will likely even watch it again sometime, to pick up on and pay more attention to some of the nuances I may have missed the 1st time around.

It is rare for me to find a movie that I’ve never even heard of before! And I’ve never heard of this one! It may be a real gem that simply slipped through the cracks; Or it may be a stinker that maybe I deleted from my memory banks. Haha. Either way, It’s like finding a lotto ticket!— Could be a winner, could be looser, but it’s great fun finding out! 😊😊
And yeah, the ratings for this movie are seriously very low, but ya never know… Like the saying, “One man’s trash could be another man’s treasure!” I love a good fantasy, adventure or sci-fi flick and will definitely be giving this a watch! So fingers crossed that this is a good one!? Has anyone else seen this and liked it?! I’ll let you all know how it goes when I can. 😊

The premise of this movie is simple enough to say the least. Which doesn’t really tell ya or give it away, if it will end up being a really good or bad movie.
So I’m very eager to hear more from our PW family! What did you all think about how it was executed, the acting, the dialogue, etc?!

I’m super excited for this!!! It says this is season 6 of 60 Days In, but from the preview/ trailer I just watched, it seems as if it is both!(Half of it will be 60 Days actually in jail & then ALSO 60 days of the new spin off where participants being on the outside but undercover!!!)

I’m super excited! This new season sounds like it could be very interesting! Though, I’m truly hoping and praying that the participants are absolutely more experienced, trained or will be more prepared. Not to mention that the participants who are undercover, not in jail…. how in the world will they be able to surveil them without blowing up their cover?!?!?!!! How will they be able to keep them safe?! Yikes! I wonder if the same participants will be in both parts??? — If they will be in jail for 60 days to establish their under cover life for the 60 days when they’re released or if they will be under cover for 60 days and then go into the jail?!
What do you all think?! And does anyone have any additional info?! This could be really good, and or it could go really sideways in a blink of an eye!!!! goosebumps wow!

Initially I gave this show a poor review. But out of curiosity and boredom, I gave it another go around. I’ve been happily surprised. Yes, this not the end all be all of tv shows, but it has its own merits, albeit cheesy. I’m just glad I got past the initial opinion I had and now just enjoy this for what it is. ☺

This show is very interesting to say the least. I ended up being sorta addicted to it. But it is so perplexing at times I had to take breals in watching it.
I also did have a very hard time getting through the darker toned and slow moving parts, which run through the whole series. Talk about building tension or in my case frustration. Lol.(just tell me what happens next!) Haha
But wow was it worth, totally worth it to see what happens in the “end,” or the end of season 2. I want to write more but my brain is still scrambled. Lol.
Really great series. I’m gobsmacked.

Does anyone have any thoughts or good/bad reviews of this movie? I’ve been thinking about watching it for quite some time now, but I’m not sure if I should watch it at all or maybe watch it during a a slow or boredom filled day. Some biographical dramas can be a bit heavy, or gloomy, even when it is an inspirational story. (Likely bc most good stories, fictional or non fiction have a protagonist go through and overcome immense challenges, hardhsips.)

This movie is cute. It is of course cheesy, but it also doesn’t take itself too seriously, in a good way. The storyline is okay, the acting is okay, and the dialogue is also okay. So, no this isn’t the best film I’very ever seen. But, it is a cute and fun movie to watch- maybe during a lazy afternoon or evening with the kids, so to speak. 😉

However, I am still attached to my childhood memories of the original movie… And I still think that the original was the best, in my humble opinion.

I tend to worry a bit when the movie industry starts making sequels… they often don’t live up to their predecessors, and sometimes even sorta ruin the brand if they are bad enough. But from the looks of the comments here, happy feet dances, this movie apparently does live up to the previous 2 movies and then some! Yay!
