APPEARANCE of Sam Kinison ! One of many
during this season & next. 1st “master thespian” skit with Jon & John is a classic🤣
Cold open of the New cast drug test is missing on this NBC rebroadcast. The least fave of casts but interesting to watch the first of John L & Dennis M! I was 17-18 yrs. I only watched some that season.
Witty & funny parody of the pageant scene, it deserves an audience. Many great character actors with a young Annette O’toole & Melanie Griffith to boot. I Love seeing 1970s America. Conrad Hall as DP. 👍
IDKY I missed this upon release ironic that I visited Manhattan yearly and read Village Voice & Details magazine. Great to see cameos of locals and landmarks before the 1990$ gentrification esp. the Empire Theater (which was literally moved laterally 200 feet in 1989)!
Leary and friends at their best. Good stuff indeed. I would tape this on vhs. Still inna box stored away.👍.
Big thank you Uploader for this obscure film I may have requested! Rare Ernie Kovacs ! Cyd Charisse is a fave. 👌
Young Steven Spielberg directed this one. A RARE early goof is when you see the shadow of a mic-boom on the pavement when a trunk is opened. Columbo !
anyone? let me know cuz i am tired of these home vanity projects recently posted! LoL.
Rare Chambers Bros. teevee appearance. Godfather of Soul with Vicky Anderson who sings a soulful YESTERDAY !
quality cutting edge teevee where new & old hollywood mingled with great musical guests.
Incredible story still worthy of telling. Best and worst of American exceptionalism. RIP poor souls & Sen. Ryan. No travel security detail for these 2 senators was/is troubling.

nice time capsule vanity project of George Barris ?! and other L.A. b-listers. Good dancers & dancing. Shabbadoo appears !
.
This is one quality “race” movie. Jim & George are solid so are the supporting cast.👍
uggh. all characters are a cliché “type”. Has obvious potential because of the 3 main
.
jerry bruckheimer destroys all cinema. Worse than i had remembered it 2 B.
Sarafian has directed popular teevee episodes ie: Batman to some classic films Vanishing Point being one. This looks like another nasty genre film.👌
I loved this movie! Cyd Charisse is stunning! Quality actors thruout. Great song & dance. Couple of star cameos too. Early Las Vegas ‘advertorial’ 😉.
New song “Star Collector” sung by Davey Jones & “Daydream Believer” action sequence
Give Jen Palmieri credit for showing up, She ‘s got balls😁. Every week your Political $hit-$tem proves it is inherently serving the corporate elites. This show is basically “The Atlantic” in video form.
This episode is A literal rip off of competitor network tv show “Beverly Hillbillies” 😆
“Sunny Girlfriend” by M. Nesmith & “Love is Only Sleeping” by Mann\Weil performed in musickal outro.
Revealing 1967 Q&A outro . This was filmed just after Monterey Pop Festival June 1967.
Holy Moly. This psychotronic revenge tale with intriguing characters & Strong women. Terrific mise en scène & vibrant colour. Into my top 10 fave film. KAMPAI.
Thanks for the prompt links ! Classic beach movie series from AIP. one of seven. Worthwhile beyond nostalgia.
So inspiring a film that 5 young men from Seattle named their band in honour. Then grunge happened. Classic Russ Meyer tropes & bodacious babes.
Russ Meyer the G.O.A.T. More serious film less surreal than usual, it is another fave of mine.
Russ Meyer the G.O.A.T. - one of my fave films of his. I just dig HAJI 👀 & all his bodacious babes.
AiP ‘beach party’ adjacent. Good clean fun with fashion & products of the time esp. the cars hello Plymouth Barracuda fastback & Yamaha skis. Requisite quality musick soundtrack with cameos of Leslie Gore & James Brown & and a band miming on the beach!
The Replacements perform “Bastards of Young” and “Kiss Me On the Bus” both from the Tim album. The entire band was drunk during both their performances. As one reviewer succinctly observed, the band could quite often be “mouthing profanities into the camera, stumbling into each other, falling down, dropping their instruments, and generally behaving like the apathetic drunks they were.” After this incident, they were banned permanently from SNL, although lead singer Paul Westerberg would return as a solo musical guest during the 19th season.
Guest appearance by Sam Kinison. Video AD ‘Say No’ by Jonathan Demme with Bruce McCulloch of Kids in the Hall ?! Wow.
