You can thank Pregnancy as well (from Covid Lockdown no doubt) Tom Hardy’s wife Charlotte Riley gave birth to a son in 2019 which stopped pre-production in it’s tracks.
From an article in digitalspy:
“We finally got an update in early 2019, but it wasn’t exactly great news: Knight (the writer) revealed that the writing on the new series was “almost” finished, but filming wouldn’t begin until late 2019 or even possibly early 2020. So don’t expect new Taboo until late 2020 at the earliest.”
He was diagnosed with Amyloidosis but was undergoing treatment. Knowing he might die before the books were finished he spent the first year after diagnosis telling different close friends and family parts of the rest of the story in detail so that it could be pieced back together and finished in a JRR Tolkien Christopher Tolkien way by someone else. He promised the fans that no matter what the books would be finished and the way he wanted the story to end. I think Sanderson did an admirable job given the difficulties of trying to emulate someone else’s writing.
not at all what i expected, very distantly connected to the authurian story. this is more a surreal romp through a dream loosely based on a tentative connection to authurian legend. good acting, sets and makeup just can’t save this one! 4/10
good family fun, and much more fun than the actual ride which 30+ yrs ago to a 12 yo was lame!….lol 8/10
futuristic sci-fi take on the noir detective genre, well done tho blade runner did it far better! jackman turnes in a less than believable performance as the jaded war vet clinging to the memory of a Femme Fatale, but in all a very entertaining watch. 7/10.
very different role for momoa, great twist ending, kept my attention till the end. 8/10
I think the 1953 film “The Wages of Fear” was the original of this remake. https://www.primewire.li/movie/98107-watch-the-wages-of-fear
yes! ty jack, i knew this was a remake but couldn’t remember the original, bless you it was buggin me!
Taylor Royce is the strait-laced preacher who is an easy mark for his twin brother’s femme-fatale wife, Brenda. But she has more than an extra-marital affair on her mind as she manipulates the preacher into stealing money from his church. Events soon spiral out of control as more infidelities are revealed and a random murder spree occurs in the noir-type thriller.
It’s maybe supposed to be a gun tattoo?
Or just really bad photoshop skills.
I like the multiple companions. It’s like they’re creating a sense of family for the doctor.
and it’s not the first time the doctor has had multiple companions in the original series it happened a lot.
wow can’t recommend this enough lots o kick azz action, great cast, brings to mind Tarantino or guy richie in the style of directing. well done.
Typical dry British humor. It’s a very slow plot and doesn’t really get interesting until after the first hour. If you stay awake that long you’ll most likely find it quite enjoyable. 6/10
ty les if i hadn’t noticed your comment i would’ve missed this one!
Description sounds like Vermont. I’ll pass.
never having been to Vermont I’ll take that as a warning and stay away!!
in a surprise twist- after an operation katia becomes ‘red’ reddington. not really just joking but i really didn’t see this ending comming. not listed as ended so wait and see where this goes next season!!!!
interesting premise only 3 ep listed right now…is it a mini series? ep 1 was good i will stay tuned.
this dosen’t seem to want to load …good luck all i got after pushing play was 20min of ‘loading’ bubbles b4 i gave up.
ok watched ep 1 and all i have t say is hmmmmmm —this could be good if it gets the same treatment as legion, otherwise it looks setup to be bla. don’t get me wrong i think it will be good like wandavision but not great like legion.
word of warning these eps are annoyingly short do yourself a favor and wait for the season to end then binge in about an hour and a half
thankyou uploaders this shows a way of life that has disappeared. shows like steptoe and son, only fools and horses, budgie, and minder should be treasured for in a way they document disappearing cultures
sorry just not a fan of this type of documentary. i made myself sit through ep1 -and it was a struggle. but i don’t think ill stick with it. if you like ‘true crime’ documentary shows then this is for you, however its not for me.
delightfull villan origin story and emma stone shines as cruella!! 5/5
One thing I’ve noticed in this mini-series is the amount of smoking these people do! I’m not use to seeing people smoke on tv shows since that is no longer common on American tv shows and movies and you won’t see cigarette ads either on American tv networks.
it does take place in the 70’s people smoked alot more, also smoking was more prevalent in india and still is
really this could have gone either way… i mean a john stamos - disney team up could have ended up so candy sweet you would want to barf! however it didn’t i was wary but pleasantly surprised, i quite like it.
aaaannnnddd here you have a prime example of holywoods desperate need to pander to the pc crowd
wait…. what about the 67 summer of love, sergeant pepper’s, woodstock…..
i admit i only watched this because of ewan the whole crazy fashion worldg dosen’t interest me much, and he didn’t disappoint he was quite good as Halston, very entertaining.
i’m on ep 2 and wow gripping edge of your seat stuff! well told to keep you guessing how its all connected 4/5
Were they trying to make everything look cheap and hire bad actors?
don’t know what you are watching but Jupiter’s legacy has high production values.
Ah, I remember Saturday morning cartoons like it was yesterday.
Is that still a thing, getting up at 4:30AM and watching shows for 6 hours straight then going to the park to spend some of that sugary cereal energy off?
fraid not died out in 2000ish but thanks t sites like this you can put on your own for the kiddies (ie yourself) lol
I know right! I can still remember and sing the theme tune too.. i was 5, they got me young.. i never recovered man :))x!
seems you may have me by a few years, my era was the later Gerry Anderson thunderbirds, stingray, and captain scarlet. still wish the original magic roundabout hadn’t been wiped!
