No one is a bigger student of this period in history than I am—-but after 15 minutes or so of unfamiliar “scholars” sitting around repeatedly asking things like “What was going on here?” and “Were there deeper secrets within these walls?” and “Why build here; why???” when we know (and have) meticulous records of nearly every nasty thing the Nazis perpetrated, this falls flat as an educational piece…more like some fluff on Investigation Discovery. I’ll pass on the rest.

And then “mods and devs make the actual call” make up your mind. As long as I’ve been here he’s fronted as if he controlled the site, and many users have had issue with him attempting to impose his opinions as actual site rules, Do what you want and if a rule is broken a real mod will send you a PM since that does not attempt to shame you to everyone or self promote them to a new position where new site users think they control or own the site.

Yeah I was glad they didn’t use the movie version, I never liked the ending. The whole movie felt like it was too softcore actually, even with all the full frontal.

Well, it’s nothing like we’ve seen before! It is full of shocks and a collision of sci-fi, period drama and horror. I do like period dramas and this is a great one too! The mind of H.G Wells was incredible to think of UFO’s, Martians. In most Hollywood movies, the aliens don’t live long but not the case in this version!

yeah, other than knowing that Alfred had a military background, that is pretty much all the info there is on his background (unless it was covered in an old comic, i don’t know)..i like to think that THIS Alfred is very similar to the Alfred we got in the TV show GOTHAM…this Alfred seems like a younger version of THAT Alfred (if you’ve seen the show, you should know what i mean lol) Either way, loving this show! Yeah, I think he was the one in the joke Laurie tells who invented things and never killed. In Flashpoint New 52 arc Dr. Manhattan sees the different versions of Batman and I believe Owl2 was an alternate version. Batman was a superior physical specimen though.

It’s hard for movies to not get Pollyanna-ish for consumer draw. I really liked the intro montage to the movie though, you see a lot of the comic high points there.
