if thats true, as a viewer you are stuck with only one chance for a request…
after that,no more options

This show is amazing ! It was some times since tv was this good. And next week is the Last Shogun Tuesday !! :’(
It’s not that anyone is offended, it’s just not the most effective way to get links. Content providers don’t always read the comments, so requests in the comments are very likely to get overlooked. Plus, they don’t want the comments clogged up with requests.

I cant believe it took me three years to watch this…. That was awesome.. On to Part Two
𝓑𝓻𝓾𝓽𝓪𝓵. 𝓐𝓷 𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓻𝓮𝓵𝔂 𝓹𝓮𝓻𝓯𝓮𝓬𝓽 𝓮𝓹𝓲𝓼𝓸𝓭𝓮 𝓲𝓷 𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔂 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓬𝓮𝓲𝓿𝓪𝓫𝓵𝓮 𝔀𝓪𝔂. Shōgun Tuesdays have one more episode to go, there is no season 2.
This movie has caused a Civil War in my brain…. and I don’t really know which side I’m on. On the one hand, it’s a beautiful, searing and poignant drama that asks very hard questions about what modern America is and who we are as a people. On the other hand… it doesn’t attempt to answer those questions, outright pulls it’s punches, and leaves me wanting a lot more meat on the bone.
The cinematography, direction, acting, sound design, set pieces and action sequences are all absolutely phenomenal. 10 out of 10. But the story… it leaves me wanting so much more. I LOVE a great character study, but I feel the broader story/world-building and even the characters themselves needed much more fleshing out. This would have made for an absolutely fantastic mini-series in the same vein as ‘Chernobyl’, but as a movie, I’m not sure it hits like it should. Even so, I was 100% on-board throughout the entire movie, but the last two minutes didn’t sit right with me for reasons I can’t fully explain. Also, Nick Offerman and Jesse Plemons are CRIMINALLY underused. Overall, it’s a 3.5/5, but I’m rating it 4/5.
Garland intentionally avoided the politics of the conflict. He wanted to show how war brings out the worst in most people and how there are no real winners in these conflicts, especially civil wars. Instead of glorifying it and giving us sides to choose from, we were given a cautionary tale of how our humanity is reduced. No one in their right mind should want this or think there is no other option left to us.
thanks for your advise,i thought, the link comments were thought to be helping, not offending anybody.
that show was at the first season well received.

All you can do is request them and if they can be found, with English dubs or subtitles, I’m sure someone will post them. Show pages are automatically added from TVMaze. Shows like this, foreign and probably not much demand for, don’t always get links unless they are requested. Asking for links in the comments is frowned upon.

George Carlin explains in his own words where he came from, what motivated him, and why he is who he is. Carlin reveals a much more sensitive and thoughtful side of himself. His demeanor stands in stark contrast to his angry stage persona. This film was surprisingly touching.
MelBert this is so well said that it should be the synopsis. Well done ✔
His 1997 40 Years Of Comedy hosted by John Stewart & the 2004 Inside The Actors Studio interview are also good in this regard. Better however may be the Radical Comedians Box Set, The 1st Psychedelic Comedy Jam, New World Notes 164, 172, 272, CFR Talk Tribute 2008, George Carlin A Revolution One, Comedian In Transition, Brutally Honest on Shock Net 062808, Swarm, and also Psychedelicatessen Laugh Riot Special 3-30-08. All audio.
On episode 2 I’m not understanding how these celebs are helping Josh win. Maybe it shows more in later episodes? Nm said that before I finished the 2nd episode.
They should have done this in black and white instead of color. Was an ok watch.
yeah,2022….untill now no links, thats my question

Ah thanks for the heads up I use mx player easy to download subtitles if needed. Hopefully I enjoy it too.
Edit after re reading your comment I opened the file I downloaded and it had the subs for non English parts at least in the opening scene.
Nothing like what they were hoping for, I’m sure. I imagine they are scaling back a bit on those ambitious plans of theirs for a whole Poohverse.
Oh there not scaling back if anything there moving full steam ahead as a third Winnie-The-Pooh Blood And Honey film has also been announced.
HEADS UP on the downloaded versions: I ended up streaming it off here. Because when I streamed there was subtitles for the Vietnamese parts- Fully required for story-
But when I downloaded it, all the english subtitles I tried, didn’t have translation for the Vietnames parts, only subs for the english words.
I watched it last night. I enjoyed it, and will continue to watch it.

It’s shameful how many of their stories are about how crappy our health care system is.
My mind still struggles to comprend this health care reality you all have to deal with in the US. Myself and many I have spoken to here in Australia and back home in New Zealand, assume the US has Goverment funded, single payer health care- for many DECADES like these two countries.
It wasn’t until I got hold of a copy around 2008 of ‘Sicko’ the 2007 doco by Micheal Moore made it’s way to NZ, I was completely blown away, and gutturally angry for anyone living in the USA regarding health care. Like WTAF, priorities mixed up much Government??!!

The film has made nearly seven hundred thousand American dollars so it’s going to be breaking even within the next week or two.

Meanwhile, Wesley is chilling in another dimension not giving a damn? Poor Will Wheaton.
The budget on the 1st one was $50k and wound up making over $5 million at the box office plus VOD and streaming. I’m sure the thinking was that with a bigger budget, they could make a better movie and cash in even more, and it was a better movie, marginally. IMDb rating on the 1st is 2.9 and 5.4 on the 2nd. What they didn’t take into account is that while the 1st movie was a novelty that piqued the interest of many, it wasn’t nearly good enough to make people want more and to the best of my knowledge, 2 hasn’t broken even yet.

The first one was bad enough and a lot of people gave low rates. Even so, why would they want to make sequel? This is what I don’t understand. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

I say, at least in this instance (There genuinely are SEVERAL Stephen King flick, which I believe COULD use a re-make, but a TRUE re-make, by previous, historical design… should have some updates by King, on the way it’s made. Or, an additional few scenes… representing unheard of material, which never made it into the original, because of budget considerations, or un-agreed scene selections, or new storyline additions, etc…), “The original, was the best.” If you’re not improving on the original, then… Why bother??? Although, I do love the Muscle Car scene! That was intense!
3/5 ✨
good but not anywhere close to the original “Sissy Spacek
was the original” and creepy scary girl
“On February 14, 2014, Page, who at that time presented as female, came out as gay. On December 1, 2020, Page came out on social media as a trans man.” Therefore when filming of this movie began on May 6, 2008, Elliot was known as ‘Ellen’ a female.
