Oliver’s Offsets LOL. Brilliant.

The one with the models? Of course. I still lust after Laith. lol.
YES, me tooooo. I saw Laith in an article online & started following him on Instagram before Strut came out. He’s the reason I watched it. I now follow Arisce from the show too. Arisce showed a clip of the intro to a reality show they starred in as a couple but it didn’t get p/u. Think she said they filmed a couple of episodes. I’d love to see those.
An urban legend, a complicated open marriage, and so much eye candy! I enjoyed this one. Also, I want that cutlery set.
It was really good. Did not see the twists at the end w/the blonde woman being the killer or them doing her bestie in. Very clever. And yes, the eye candy! lol.
“Dollhouse” was actually the first one in this season. I saw an “official” list somewhere that was pretty off. “Dollhouse” isn’t bad. I think “Aura” is my fave so far. Though this one comes in a close second.
As much as I love Dominique, her acting range is pretty limited. She only plays herself really. She is a Grand Dame though (pronounced w/the ‘a’ as an ‘ah’ of course lol). Did you ever watch the reality show Strut that she’s in (not Pose, which wasn’t a reality show). It was my intro to her.
I ended up watching 2 epis since there was a wrong epi called Dollhouse which was really good. This one was ok imo.
Finally watched this, mostly because the other poster said it was generic, and didn’t believe it on account of the trailer I saw. Now that I watched it, I doubt that the person posting even watched it, was anything close to generic, and was actually a solid 4 out of 5 stars for me, and was actually pretty different as far as vampire movies go. I have watched a lot of them over the years, and while stuff has been done that might have been similar to this in some way or another, it has never been done (in my opinion) nearly as well.
Jamie did an excellent job as always in this, and overall I think it was well worth the watch, even if you are just looking to kill some time, or if you just like vampire movies in general.
It was pretty generic. It incorporated several overdone genres like vampire horror, buddy team ups & action films. Still was entertaining w/some good laughs.
show sure tanked the last 2 seasons.. long drawn out blah blah blahh..too bad..
Yea I gave up on it after 2 or 3 epis of s3. When the main bot Dolores went into the real world is what killed it for me. It became nowhere near as interesting to me.
Cannes Palme d’or winner. A dark satire set for release September 28th.
I watched a couple of trailers they had on IMDB when this page 1st appeared here a few days ago since there was no trailer uploaded & thought it looked pretty odd but interesting. This trailer wasn’t on IMDB when I watched the others & is miles better than the 2 I saw there.
2nd season Queens I’m not feeling so much except for Queen Kong who is the most memorable out of the group. She is gorgeous in & out of drag but unfortunately not doing well. They’re entertaining but more bland than last year.
Admittedly, I was lost in the 1st hour of this & had a hard time getting into it. It could have been my mindset though since I normally don’t mind slow paced movies/shows. Usually if I’m impatient w/a movie, I’ve found I will really like it on 2nd watch.
The last hour is when it all started coming together & making sense. So hang in there if you’re not feeling it right away. Peele really takes his time building this world & the characters to get you invested in the story. It’s really worth being patient, although it left me w/more questions than answers, to be honest. It’s definitely a unique & interesting take on the scifi genre, which is much needed in this day & age. I’ll need to watch this again when a better copy is available.
I love how Peele has his own unique take on every genre he pursues. I loved this, but I’ll definitely have to rewatch it when it’s released to DVD in order to understand some of the opaque pieces of the story and how they fit into the picture.
Agreed a rewatch is definitely in order. So much there to take in, but that’s the case w/all his movies.
Animal zombies are hilarious!
This final episode gets cut off before the end. Here’s the complete one:

The chunky little squirrel was so cute. And even when it took an eye, it was still adorable. I don’t think I’d wanna be chased by a zombie skunk, though.
I’m not much of a Bill Burr fan since he mainly tells stories that aren’t all that funny to me so I skipped his bit (I just watched his current full comedy special, which was ok, so I’ve given him an adequate shot). I know he’s popular but he’s just not my cup of tea & I know comedy is subjective. There are many comedians I like that others do not, so not every comic is for everyone.
This roster of comics however is pretty stellar. I wasn’t sure what the point of Ronnie Chang singing a cover of a Katy Perry song was. Wish he’d just done standup imo. All the other acts were great though w/a nice variety of comics. Worth a look despite my dislikes about the special.
First time watching one of his specials. It was entertaining but there are many other comedians I much prefer like Deon Cole, Mark Normand & Andrew Schultz.
Black panty gate LOL. Did they run out of other colors down under? Glad to see this back for season 2. These queens are fun to watch. My fave so far is Queen Kong.
LOL.Since you liked this, check out Octavia Spencer & Taraji P Henson in Hidden Figures. It deals w/sexism & racism around the same time frame in the US space program. It’s based on a true story. So excellent & as great as this movie. Here’s the trailer: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4846340/?ref_=nm_knf_i1
Can’t believe I didn’t watch this movie sooner. If you want to watch a emotional and dramatic movie set in the 1960’s or just an amazing movie then this is it. :) So surprised about how good it was. :D Great movie indeed !9/10
It really hits all the bases w/drama, comedy, social issues, etc. Loved the ‘chocolate pie’ moment. Hilarious!
Shae’s Die Antwood wig was a choice.
Trinity slayed Pink, so how did she not win that?
I thought for sure Raja would win when they said “Eurythmics”. Bless her heart, Evie tried.
Jinkx vs Monet, I thought this would be a fiercer battle than it was!
Congrats to the Queen Of All Queens and to Miss Done Already Done Had Herses.
Well it’s Ru’s decision so that’s why Trinity didn’t win. I think w/the editing we as the audience often miss the nuances of seeing the synch in person & therefore what Ru actually sees. It was definitely close for sure but I was glad Monet won.
I was surprised Raja won. I really did think Evie edged her out since she had a much more interesting performance. Ru often votes in favor of emoting over acrobatics though. Happy for Raja though.
Epic movie. It reminds me quite a bit of the gorgeous, historically based film The Last Emperor which of course takes place in China, Tibet’s neighbor. Stunning cinematography of beautiful landscapes, great acting & lavish sets make up this historical telling about the 14th Dalai Lama’s rule over Tibet. Not a film for everyone though since it is a slowly paced film.
Hilarious! I’d definitely watch a feature length film. But then again, they might not be able to sustain the level of hilarity that this parody trailer provided.
‘It definitely wasn’t yogurt!!!!’ bahahaha. I hope the movie is as hilarious as the trailer.
‘I’m going to get out of here, one way or another’ the main character says twice; w/‘original’ dialogue like that I’m not too compelled to watch it.
I have seen it and I’m eagerly awaiting season 2 because there has to be one.
Oh great to hear. I’ll take my time w/it. I’m not a binge person. I like to enjoy a series & usually don’t want them to end, especially if there’s no follow up seasons. I have yet to watch the remainder of Ozark 4, although I did watch epi 8 after the last 7 epis dropped. I’m savoring them since it’s the last of that show, I love it so much.
First episode of Outer Range is a banger but then the story just stagnates and doesn’t go anywhere. It could have been much better.
Then I’ll probably like it. I don’t mind slow paced, character study series/movies. Humans are far more interesting than action films imo.
Well, catch up, man! There’s nothing much better to watch, atm.
Okay, there’s quite a bit to watch but this is up there with the best.
That’s my dilemna, too much good stuff to watch. I just started Outer Range too w/Josh Brolin. You seen it? First epi is fantastic, w/an excellent cast. Looking forward to more of it.
Don’t know where you saw him speaking with a US accent but he’s certainly not. Nandor or Kayvan Novak was born on November 23, 1978 in London, England. If you’re from the UK he was fairly well known for his voices to acting, from doing shows like Phonejacker to facejacker, to his acting skills in the excellent Four lions.
Matt Berry is excellent in everything he’s in and Natasia Demetriou has improved so much through her few years she’s been acting. Going from small BBC3 parts with her brother to this.
I’m watching a very young Kayvan in this

Beware, some sites have the links mixed up with the American version
Just watched the 1st epi of Sirens. Hadn’t heard of it before so glad you posted that Alien. Really great.
Good to see this is back for another season after they seemed to have stepped up their game last season. I’m guessing they got a budget boost—it looked it.
They received a budget boost after season one & since it caught on & became so popular it’s obvious their budget has grown each season. You can tell by the FX particularly but also the bigger sets, among other things.
That accent was hilarious!
Just shows what an excellent actor he is that he can switch from his vampire accent to that one. He has a regular American accent irl. I’ve watched some interviews w/him. He seems like such a sweet guy.
Fun first episode. Great jokes, decent effects. I love Nadja’s new attitude. But “the thing that crawled out of the chest cavity of Colin Robinson” is creepy.
Loved the episode. So many great, funny moments & yes Lil’ Colin is creepy. Love me some Nandor most. His imitation of the Minnesota accent cracked me TF up.
Very quirky pseudo doc about a depressed inventor who creates a robot. It starts off slow but once he activates the robot things start to happen as the robot learns about life & the world around him. The actor who plays Brian the inventor is quite oddball & his interactions with the robot he names Charles is awkward & humorous. He is awkward with everyone though. There’s definitely some funny parts as Charles starts to want some independance & gets defiant. It’s a quirky, oddball movie & ultimately heartwarming. The rest of the cast do well too. If you like unusual movies this definitely qualifies. I wouldn’t say this is for everyone since it starts out slow & there’s little action except for the end but if you enjoy quirky indie comedies you might very well enjoy this.
Definitely! The next two are pretty good as well. The last two (which I think were direct-to-DVD) are so-so.
I’ve only seen this & Night Of The Living Dead. I didn’t get into horror till much later in life.
Happy 4th of July! This is one of those movies you just have to watch on the third or fourth!
It’s such a horror camp classic. It’s wonderfully over the top in very ‘80s style.
Watched the pilot & loved it. Maya Rudolph is so excellent. It’s about time she starred in her own show w/top billing. The cast is great too. I found myself laughing quite a bit at the various scenarios. The writing is definitely on point. It’s also beautifully photographed w/stunning sets/locations. Looking forward to watching more of this comic gem.

The 4th & last season is coming out this Fall. They filmed seasons 3 & 4 back to back.
If you just ignore how silly it is, it really isn’t that bad.
LOL.
