Was so glad to see this refreshed, was thinking it’s time for a rewatch

Keeps getting better with every episode - this has the recent science about the geology of Earth being impacted by the development of plants. If you are a science nerd this is a must see show. +++++

A lot darker and grittier than the original, at least from the first two episodes. I likes Boyd way better than this new nemesis. Nice to see Willa as a teen but I think she needs to be a bit sassier like her momma. All in all it’s entertaining so far.

I’d love to know what EP cleared this production title. Such a weak name.

Impressive! Lots of new material here about the mass extinction event in the Permian. This is a new narrator to me - I’m Team Brian Cox and David Attenborough but he is A team material. Even for typically excellent BBC nature series, the cinematography and locations are incredibly gorgeous and well shot. 5/5

FINALLY! In March, 2023, they said they were working on Season 2. It’s in the 60’s, not the 1800’s, though. Hope it’s not too different. I rather liked the 19th century version. Well, we’ll see, I guess. Didn’t say if any of the original cast was coming back.

The first real episode of Star Trek since 1969. OUTSTANDING.

Very highly rated on rogerebert dot com and rotten tomatoes, don’t let TV maze throw you off here.

The detectives make a very unlikely duo, love the character development just in the first episode, location is spooky and perfect.

This is amazing!

Besides Chris Pine, our favorite non-Shatner interpretation of Kirk is Vic Mignogna. Our kids especially like him. Mostly an anime voice actor, this short-lived fan series is a genuine love letter to the original staff who put Trek together. They consulted them rigorously on everything from lightning to types of fabric that was used, and that rigor shows since it really does look as if it were filmed in 1966.

Has the late Grant Imahara from Mythbusters as Sulu, Jimmy Dohan’s son Chris as Scotty, and a whole lot of really great guests from Star Trek itself and other actors such as Lou Ferrigno. It’s a good series that attempts to finish the original 5 year mission. It was shut down due to legalities, so the mission went unfinished after a season. What’s done is top-notch all the way.

I’m looking for something historical to rewatch and was just thinking about this the other way - glad to see a couple of seasons are back up!

Does anyone know anything else great Hardy has played in? I’ve searched here by his name and only one thing came up which wasn’t a movie. He has to be in many others to be such a great actor. I’m only half way through and it’s amazing

I came to this party a bit late as I was never really a big fan of rap, but this has got to be one of the funniest shows I’ve ever watched and the number of cameos is insane. What’s up with the TVMaze rating? 8.2/10 IMDb, 89% Rotten Tomatoes, 4/5 Vulture and 89% on Google.

Is kind of reminding me of Snowpiercer.

I forgot about Haven! It’s not fast paced, it’s not a thriller, but it’s definitely full of odd people and weird as hell and I loved it.
