Now we’ve seen it all…

In case you guys are wondering ,there are 23 novels/books by Lee Child ,on Reacher. N you’re damn right first one (book) is called the killing floor so as this season ,which means we can expect 22 seasons more in the near future. N I strongly hope that they ,(companies :paramount ,amazon ,sky dance) don’t end this joy ride here.
If its get the green light, we can probably expect 3-5 seasons at the most.
Fantastic episode. Love the new dynamic. I like Sci-fi but very few shows are actually that(mostly melodrama in space). This is the best new Sci-fi of recent times.
Narrative doesn’t need a push. As Candice stated school shootings are a foreign concept in Europe in other words it’s an American an brand doesn’t happen anywhere else period.
I’m glad Red and Dembe found a way to move forward.
I agree it’s not the same, like that Blacklist niche’ is not quite there. But I don’t think it’s because of Boone. Even when she was there, rarely was it like the Blscklist that we feel in love with in the beginning seasons. Them constantly trying to make her relevant has- now become redundant and forced. Ray is the only one who should still be looking into her death
The first couple of seasons weren’t even that good. It has improved in a lot of ways but a lot of elements have stayed the same. I’ll be honest this new plot point doesn’t even make sense. Is there a point or is it more of the same.
I know many people disagree vehemently, but for me it just isn’t the same without Megan Boone…so adios lista negra.
No, not the same. Slightly different. I’m actually glad we moved one from the same rehashing every season. New showrunner will go in a different direction.
This is a really good family show. All the young actors do a great job. If you like timey whimey time travel, you’ll enjoy this one.
We have different definitions of “filler” then
How many episodes were spent on Jimmy? We all know by know, Taylor Sherdian is building up his world of shows. We got 1 good opener episode, and the rest was fair to middling. Other stories were just randomly dropped. Maybe season 5 will be better but this has been the weakest season in terms of story.
There’s been a number of good Canadian shows that have come out recently and this is one of them. I have enjoyed it thoroughly. This season seems like its going to heat up real quick.
I’ve read several interviews with the creators & I remember one saying this would have 7 seasons but, you never know. They have always been very steadfast in knowing how it will end & driving the story towards that ending in straight line rather than a meandering path. It’s one of the reasons most episodes feel so packed, no need for filler.
Lots of filler last season and this season, especially this season. Its hard to gauge if season 5 will tie up all the stories. This season was a big let down because not much happened really.
I was thrown off by the accents. Before even finishing this episode, I spent over an hour researching the newfoundland accents because I was curious(was so worth it, love the accents and people). Great first episode.
I knew I had seen the lead in another show. I don’t know what to think as of now. It comes off a little cheesy. The young actors all seem okay. Don’t much care for the adult actors as they seem they are phoning in their performances. What I like is the main characters facial expressions, that alone will keep me watching. I hope there is a good story or this one will quickly end up in the scrap pile.
this show was always meant to be a drama its point is to show how a superhero separates his chosen mission in life with balancing the personal life he chooses to have. it also breaks the illusion of because he is a superhero his life is flawless and perfect. the telling of this story gives a broader context and view of the man as a who not just an aspect of his life. as for the actress chosen to play his wife i find it provides a great chemistry to challenge and help create understanding of why superman is who he is and why he may do some things the way he does. i think this show broadens the perspective of the story that “lois & clark” began and attempted to tell in the 90’s plus getting to see him as a father? brilliant.
Lois and clark are equals in their relationship and that is fine. Lois and Superman are not equals. Superman is who he is in spite of Lois. Their chemistry is about a 5. Believable enough to sell it but not a realistic matching if we go on what we see on screen. Honestly she had better chemistry with John Henry. I love the family aspect, that is mainly why I watch it. Its a new take on what we’ve previously seen on screen
These guys literally could have picked anyone to play Lois and they ended up picking The most anoying actress that was available at the moment. I fixed that for you.
She is not a bad actor but they way her character is portrayed does not work and generally feels out of place. They can tone her down but that obviously isn’t going to happen.
These guys literally could have picked anyone to play Lois and they ended up picking Bitsie Tulloch. Something just seems off about her.
I can’t stand her in this show. I know I’ll get some hate but Supes is the main attraction and Tyler Hoechlin is so good. Lois doesn’t deserve all the screen time she gets. I bet Bitsie Tulloch gets paid the same(which she just doesn’t deserve).
Still can’t stand Lois. Father/son dynamic still the best apart of the show. I don’t know how I feel about the new character. I also have no idea what the new plot is but its feeling a bit predictable already…
Wow excellent this episode proves they don’t have to rely on latten violence for their show to be impactful and doesn’t pander to meat heads or choch’s that need Action! Now! Lol
Sick piano scene freaking perfect showcasing how dark n brutal the sh*t our ancestors went through to get us here..
I didn’t think it was a very good episode. Gypsy lady is suddenly able to ride a horse? Its a Taylor Sheridan show. There will be plenty of violence coming. I think you were the intended audience for that piano scene because I thought it was out of place and again, unncessary.
I love the narration of this show. Kind of reminds me of Platoon. Completely different settings, times and events but makes it feel really serious and deep.
How old are you? I feel like you’re a gen-zer. The narration is so pretentious and unneccesary. It doesn’t add anything to show at all.
I disagree completely. I think this is the best show I have ever seen and this finale had me chocking up and gave me goosebumps…but there is one thing that did not make sense that really bothered me, the bullet hole in mike`s windshield was missing. He shot through it last episode and did not nor had time to change cars. Anybody else pick up on this?
It’s hard to believe they would turn into cannibals after one mushroom trip. The story is starting to fall apart and I can’t imagine it will improve in the season finale.
Not a very good finale. Nothing about it makes any sense. I will keeping watching if there is a second season.
I love the tension build up. I think we all knew it was coming. Julia Jones had to be the standout for this episode.
I really enjoyed this one and look forward to a second season. I did feel it could of been condensed into 8 episodes. Loved the cinematography and that alone makes it worth watching.
These are my favorite kinds of episodes. Whoever does these particular episoses is always spot on tonally. I stop watching shows where I generally don’t like all the characters. It’s hard to believe some of you only watch it for Reddington. I get tired of Reddington even though he is a central character.
It’s a remake of an Argentinian show. I doubut this will make it past 1 season.
Now I have more questions but not enough answers. The plot is questionable but the adult actors are doing a phenomenal job and the younger actors are holding their own. It looks like we are reaching a turning point. Melanie Lynskey is so good in this and I would keep watching for her alone.
Enjoyed the episode but I feel like there isn’t going to be a really satisfactory ending for the fans. We’ll see though. It has been thoroughly entertaining even though its very flawed in its approach.
One of the best shows ever. I highly suggest you watched it subbed.
What a great ride! Question: what was the note/meaning the ‘uncle’ wrote?
More than likely that he would receive his ‘cut’ because he was family.
I don’t know if I mentioned it before but this show always has a good soundtrack.
I think the episode got something right when the ne’er-do-well son mended his relationship with his estranged mom, the cop, prior to her death. That seemed real and made story-progressing sense after their cave misadventure earlier. I liked it.
BUT the entire season still feels as if it might have been condensed into a mere 2-hour first episode. The cliffhanger isn’t fun. That’s just a subjective opinion.
I’m still in. The weak links are still Izzy & Josh. I hope they take some acting classes between now and the second season.
Great episode. Looking forward to a second season.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. If you haven’t checked it out, I highly recommend it.
Some of my best childhood memories alight with the 007 theme tune. Well what can we say aboot this one? Fast cars, fast woman, a mysterious man, subterfuge and everything done with a touch of panache, shaken not stirred. After so many years, Bond has never aged, in fact he reflects each era. This film alone grossed something like 356 milly$, so I dont think this franchise will be going anywhere soon…V
Out of the Craig era, I rank it second. Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, No Time To Die, Spectre. QOS was a direct sequel(first of its kind) and it wasn’t overly drawn out. I’ve watched numerous times because I simply enjoy it.
The teen actors are terrible. They are just so generic. I like it enough to keep watching.
I had a lit. professor who used to say, “It’s just another of those silly things that is ODTAA. One Damn Thing After Another.”
That’s this show in a nutshell. People you don’t feel a thing for, running around doing all kinds of nonsensical, even duplicitous things - and getting nowhere at all in the plot. Just what I was afraid of. What do you bet this is cancelled long before we get to any real meaning/resolution of any of the things they keep introducing?
That’s what life is anyways… It’s on a nbc, which more than likely WILL get cancelled. Watch if you like it and if you don’t move on.
I really like this couple. They were a little stubborn but made good decisions.
Can this show get any better? Seriously, this episode was The Bee’s Knee’s. What a clever way to foil a potential Bump Off, albeit how bad it goes against the Legend’s timeline rules. Loved the Gin Mills, especially the Zari Party, and the Ghost whiteness of the Bullet Blonde’s was so metaphorically spot on! And the choreography that foiled the Gatecrasher’s intentions initial intentions to take down the BB’s. Swell!
For you young whippersnapper’s who haven’t figured out my slang banter above, I am using popular slang terminology from the 1920’s.
The Bee’s Knee’s: Awesome person/thing
Bump Off: Murder someone
Gin Mills: Speakeasy’s.
Gatecrasher: Uninvited ‘guests’ without invitation, password, lack of paying admission.
Swell: Excellent/Brilliant
The ghost white of the BB’s is metaphorical because it represents the fact they are time jumpers and ‘cannot be caught’.
Amy Pemberton’s(Gideon’s) vocals are very impressive! A very talented singer.
You really have to appreciate the writers for going the extra mile. One of the main reasons I love this show.
please do not tell me Kate has succumbed to plastic surgery, it looks like it IMHO.
I absolutely love Gideon in human form. Such a good move on the producers part.
Very dark, even for cw. The writers on the other arrowverse shows should be taking notes. All around brilliant performances from everyone. I feel like Hourman hasn’t had enough screen time so hopefully that will change. Look forward to season 3.
They really need to bring this show back for a 2021/22 season - Imagine all the post-Brexit hijinks they could be workin’ in to it.
Probably not going to happen as actors have moved on. Was a fun show while it lasted.
I guess we are suppose to watch all the way through the credits?
