Went in to the first episode thinking this was going to be cheap competition for The Boys with the same energy DC is bringing to the quite disappointing Doomsday Clock. Instead seems like Lindelof has gone out of his way to, for better or worse, start a true televised sequel to Watchmen continuing the themes without being weighted down by beloved characters.

I see having a black female lead really pissed off some fan boys lol. Is it ok to not have one show where you aren’t the lead calm down.

That’s what I’m saying. The volcano isn’t the only theory as to what killed them all. Another theory that ins’t explored much is that they had inferior immune systems. A third theory is that humans had domesticated wolves and Neanderthals hadn’t. This would have provided extra meat, more protection for the clan, and an ability for single mothers to provide food for nursing babies (wolves hunt while she stays in the cave). Wolves also engage in coprophagia which means humans weren’t living in their own filth, and Neanderthals were. The volcanic eruption could have just been a coincidence, contributing factor, or had no effect. It’s one sided on the debate.

Seriously one sided on the debate. What about the theory that humans had tamed wolves to help with hunting and hygiene and Neanderthals hadn’t? Or the theory that disease had wiped them out? It’s interesting but incomplete.

Well, it’s nothing like we’ve seen before! It is full of shocks and a collision of sci-fi, period drama and horror. I do like period dramas and this is a great one too! The mind of H.G Wells was incredible to think of UFO’s, Martians. In most Hollywood movies, the aliens don’t live long but not the case in this version!

Mini-series really means just that across the pond. Not like here in the Us where Mini-series has turned into another way to say Pilot. But I was merely speculating about what the plan for this show is. Robo seems to have done some research into the matter, I was only going by the main page here on PW for the episode number. Those have been wrong on other shows before so well see.

ok….no….Jessica Jones, Storm…I mean pretty much 99 percent of super hero females don’t get rescued and aren’t gay…I sense some homophobia here….it was actually HUGE that they made Bat Woman gay…it was huge cuz it was rare…..do your homework before saying stupid shite…

Batman’s original one, yes. He was a gangster, Batman actually tried to save him from falling, but was not quite fast enough. Thought he died, but was wrong. Think this one is going to pan out differently then the one we are used to from the Batman mytho’s, though. Interested to see what they are going to do with it.
