On Season two now, but I just wanted to ask if anyone noticed that the last 5 notes of the theme song (before the show comes on) are the notes of “The Danger Zone” from Top Gun?

Just found this in someone’s playlist and it’s already scaring me to death! I’m on episode 5, and the closer it gets to the end, the scarier it gets. I don’t generally like scary stuff, or Stephen King, but this is so suspenseful with such interesting characters that I’m hooked.

This was confusing sometimes because it skipped around in time, but the lead character looked the same. It’s hard to watch sometime, because of the pure insanity of some of the characters. It ended well, but I’d like to see another season, just to wrap up what happened to all of them afterwards. The evil cult leader is so slippery, I want to see if she gets out of punishment once again.

I’ve never read them either, but what’s going on from what I understand is this…The guy that is playing the Geralt now, Henry Cavill, is a big fan of the books and such, to a very great extent. That being said, he wanted to stay with the series as written, but the people writing and directing and producing the show wanted to stray from the original content and go in a different direction then what the books and such went.

Both he and the fans are rebelling against that, and in a big way. Cavell knew being on the inside how far they were going to stray from the original content of the books, and tried for a good bit to get them to stay with the original content, which is what made the show so popular with a lot of the fan base, and the people in charge refused to listen to him, and he liked the original so much that he refused to renew his contract with them, a he felt that they were going to destroy the show anyway with the content change.

That being said, I really liked the first 2 seasons, and also this 3rd one, and have never read any of the books. And not having read them, but knowing that they are based on the original content, I’m starting to think that if Cavell thinks this strongly about it, then might be they should leave well enough alone and stay with this as it was originally written, as it’s so good already. A lot of times Producers and Directors take that ‘artistic license’ they seem to think they have way too far and ruin something that was already perfectly good to start with. This might be one of those things.

I will give the 4th season a shot, when it comes out, just on general principals, but I am not expecting it to be as good as the first 3 seasons. Just my opinion based on what has been said in several articles about this, and past experience watching shows made from book’s by really good authors that people got hold of and they changed way too much and just destroyed it, when they should have left well enough alone…

More likely fans of the video games. Few read anymore and the gaming crowd can be very toxic. Many were complaing from the beginning of the show. Many that were fans of the show are not happy about Cavill’s departure. That said, I also enjoy this for what it is instead of hating it for what it isn’t and I’ve read some of the books and played the games.

I like the new psychic, Cindy. I could tell for a couple of years now that Amy was getting burned out. I wish her the best. and hope this break will help her heal.

1960’s?

This is going to be an amazing season. I have no idea how they are going to end this, or what they are going to do with Geralt at the end of this, all things considered. I’ll give the next season a watch, at least at the start, as I have never read any of the Witcher stuff, only been exposed to the show, which is great, so will have to see what they do with it. Hope it lives up to the standard they have so far set…

For everyone who previously thought Lily Rose Depp was just another nepo baby, you were oh so wrong. We who are old enough to have watched her grow up would never have imagined anything even remotely like this. Watch the whole series. You won’t be disappointed in the end.

FINALLY! In March, 2023, they said they were working on Season 2. It’s in the 60’s, not the 1800’s, though. Hope it’s not too different. I rather liked the 19th century version. Well, we’ll see, I guess. Didn’t say if any of the original cast was coming back.

Just started binging this. A slow start for sure, but around episode 3, it starts picking up. Since it got a second series, I think it has some value. I’d call it more of a “suspense” than a detective story, though.

I don’t know if I can watch any more of this. I was a mega fan of Lily Rose’s mother, and she always had so much class. This is just trashy shit, and I believe it’s going to ruin Lily Rose’s career. I bet Vanessa and Johnny are totally ashamed of this, but they will never say it in public. How could you not be ashamed as a parent?

I am so glad someone else agrees with me! I did delete my first comment because someone made a snarky comment. I will wait until all episodes have dropped and then watch the last episode to see who the killer is. It could have been a great new tv crime drama without the stupidity of each single character!

Wow. Can’t wait until next season! Yes, there will be a next season, folks. They’re saying it will air either late this year or next spring. Too long to wait!

I am not impressed. If this is what people down under think is funny, I think I’ll stay here in the U.S., TYVM. I just don’t like “stupidity” comedy, where people make absolute fools of themselves for the sake of a laugh. I’m sure a lot of people do like it, but not for me.

I hate cliffhangers like this! I’ll be going crazy until we see what happens next season.

At times I had issues with the characters but overall liked this new version of Perry Mason. Now the sad news! The series premiered strongly in June 2020, which would see Rhys earn an Emmy nomination for his leading role. However, in June 2023, HBO announced that it would not be moving forward with a third season.

Love this show! Got behind this year, and am catching up. Sue never ceases to amaze me!

Wow. Best series ending I’ve seen in a long, long time. I’m going to watch the last part again.

Well, that was an interesting ending. If you didn’t watch the credits scroll at the end, you missed something good. I’ll miss this show so much. I might binge watch the whole thing again one day. Goodbye, Midge. Goodbye Susie. You both were truly MARVELOUS!

9 more days. Reviews have been bad so far, but those are just critics. There was one particularly disturbing one, though, and they have given LR a really nasty nickname. I think maybe Lily Rose is ruining her career by doing this. We’ll see, but from the reviews, it goes a bit too far. I don’t think any reputable studio will want to work with her now. Sad.

I’m a bit behind on episodes this year, but I would gladly go help in that botanical garden for room and board. Seriously, that place is amazing!

This show just lives and breathes on plot twists! I was not expecting that. Can’t wait until next week!

I feel like I should read the books, because Season 2 makes no sense to me at all.

This is so confusing at first, but it builds bit by bit until it all comes clear. I’d like to see a second series of this how.

I’m on Ep. 2 of Season 3, and it’s boring as hell and hard to follow. I can hardly get through one episode without clicking off to go do something else for awhile. If it doesn’t get more interesting, I’m going to skip this season.

Man, this flying by the seat of your pants captaining style is heart stopping sometimes! This is definitely the most exciting Star Trek ever. Did you see the Tribble? I laughed my ass off.

Moriah is really overdoing it with the eye makeup now. She looks like a hooker! she needs to tone it down a bit. Seems like she toned down her clothes and transferred it to her face.

Only two episodes? The first one was sort of boring, so I hope the next is better.

I love Joanne Froggatt so much, but why does she always have to play the victim? Yes, she always wins in the end, but why can’t she be a strong woman, like a lawyer or doctor or a superhero? This typecasting is getting old for such an amazing actress.

I like this show, but this season has been waaaaaay too long. I’ll be so glad when it’s over. There is no storyline anymore, just “I’m winning!” “No, I’m winning!” Back and forth, over and over.

It’s not bad, but before it’s over, Stabler MUST at least have sex with Liv. Seriously, this is the only reason I’m watching both of these now.

I know it’s just a tv-show, but like I said in my comment not every teenager is mature enough to realise it’s ‘just a fantasy story’. I honestly didn’t even know this was from a comic book. I’m from Belgium so I didn’t grow up with comics like this. To be honest I even discovered Marvel comics when I was about 19-20 :s Maybe this sounds weird for you, but it’s not just me but a lot of people here don’t know about comics. I have a 17 year old niece that watched this show (2years ago, so at age 15) and she started to believe that American teenagers really live like this and acted out, that’s why I watched it out of curiousity to try to understand her. I just wanted to share that back then so 2 years ago. :D So yeah that’s why my comment is so intens. :D

Now it’s getting interesting. I can see a few ways that this can go. I just want to see the wicked queen gone, one way or the other, but her recent actions almost guarantee that won’t happen. This season started off boring, but it sure has livened up.

This sounds like fun! Sort of like a modern day “Land of the Lost” with a twist.

This season is getting boring, and I’m sick of the violence. I’ll leave it to people who ridiculous storylines and lots of blood and guts.

Don’t stop watching! The last episode is worth all the bullshit through the first 5 and answers a lot of questions.

This show is so much fun! I could hardly wait for season 2, and it’s even better than season 1. Now I can hardly wait for each episode. If you like farce, please give this show a try. You’re love it.
