Even with that the issue for me is not the voting, which I’m cool with and serves a purpose, it’s with trolls who go around with the sole purpose of down voting everything that certain members post. I feel like I’m talking to myself. Tucker is one of my favorite actors also, really. I literally, 3 minutes ago, just watched a short that he is in called Skin.The Black Donnellys was also great. Grilo is always just so fun to watch, I don’t know why. I do know he has a fighting background so he’s picking his roles really well. And Mat Lauria has been on two excellent TV shows that managed to get cancelled. Friday Night Lights was the other. you could see how dedicated they all were just in the level of their fitness.

For real I think it deserved at least a picture of the year nomination, I never know what those guys are thinking. The movie was absolutely perfect. and I’m not gassing it up but we knew every characters motivation without getting bogged down and it still managed to focus on the MMA. Hell, the soundtrack was on point too, lol.

Great minds! I just noticed Frank Grilo is in Warrior, while he is nowhere near the level of Tom Hardy I enjoy watching him also. He was in a tv show called Kingdom and if you liked Warrior then you are in for a treat. It is loaded with talent and legitimized Nick Jonas as an actor for me. Wish more would have known about this when it was on but it did manage to run for three emotional seasons. Be careful though, it is extremely bingeable.👍🏼

I agree, I saw this before the Tv show had ever aired.Netflix or prime recommended it to me, anyway, I was pushing it before the current season had started so it’s good to know others have seen this awesome flick from down under. I can’t believe I never realized Joel Edgerton is in this,he’s one of my favorites in hollywood. If you havn’t seen Warrior your missing out. Also stars Tom Hardy, another high on my list. I think i’ll watch that now,lol.

Thats’ the first Iv’e heard about the writer being the same foe Dark Phoenix and The Last Stand. I think that actually goes beyond weird, I’m thinking we’ve slipped into one of the utterly confusing timelines from the this very X-men series. I mean wern’t Those two movies both based on the same “Dark Phoenix Saga” from the comics? Well I guess at the very least it does shed some light on some of the problems going on over at fox. I see where your coming from but I think they were going for a slow burn type of atmosphere. Six episodes in and the most interesting characters are given the least amount of screen time. I read an article yesterday from the writer or show runner and he was saying he had planned to dig into some of the mythos contained in the comic book runs. I never read them but Swamp Thing seems to be really deep not just about horror and monsters, more like a thinking mans comic. It would be great if one day the storyboards for the final three episodes of this season were to get leaked so we could see where they planned to take this.

I agree on the fight scenes, i watched the first ep. and the story grabbed me too I just put off coming back. I ended up binging 2 thru 9 in one sitting. It was one of those shows where you can’t believe the episode is over once you see the credits start rolling. the hour just flies by.

Not to make this news worse but it a DC streaming service show so the odds they would allow Netflix to Purchase the rites are next to 0. after their Marvel drama I doubt Netflix would even want to deal in this since Disney and Dc have similar plans for their Ip’s. What’s that saying “Fool me once……..”
But fear not, since show was doomed before its premiere. Differences between the original people behind it and Dc led to a shift from 13 episodes to 10. And that kind of thing is never good. I,m hoping their is a plan for a reboot so it can be brought into the shared universe Doom Patrol and Titans already inhabit.(I think the fact this takes place in a different universe, as the reason for their disagreements)

Terrific binge opportunity, really has a great way of throwing some grey into the typical black and white moral dilemma these type of shows typically have.
