Well first they need to actually educate actually meaningful stuff needed in life, instead of just how to take a test and boost numbers for the sake of money and status. My mom has worked in the schools for 20+ years and has seen us go from teaching kids things they actually need if life to just test taking. It’s sad and apparent in our kids today.
True, that’s indeed how we lost an entire generations attention and interest. Heartbreaking.

Good Lord Cringe is being polite! What the hell? Is it news to AS that Unknown Hinson was a little crazy? Why would you kick a man off of a show on it’s very last season for some stupid sht he said on social media??
Is it that important what a 60 something year old man typed on one stupid website that you have to replace him?? How much longer is he going to live? What a shame I’m never one to complain or send letters or emails about something I disagree with but I’m not letting this one go, and I bet the people at Squidbillies agree as they named these first episodes “Let er R.I.P.” & “One man Banned”

If you’re into lab-testing ‘n stuff… this might be the diggity. ‘Cuz, its kinda like a UFO version of Oak Island, a zillion stories and digging. Dig. Dig. Debate and more Diggity. No one expects a spaceship to pop out of a hole (nor a golden chalice on Oak Island). And yet I’m totally onboard and here for it every week - and there’s no explanation for that anomaly either.
I See You (2019)
If I hadn’t have known Helen Hunt already as an actress, it would have been better for me (as the viewer). It was nearly painful to have her in the film as her face does not have any form of expressions, which is contrary to what the character is supposed to be conveying.
I think she was a very talented actress (“As Good As It Gets” is a an excellent example), and her face was not “paralytic” back then.
I was honestly wondering if she had Bells Palsy, so I looked it up, and that’s EXACTLY what happened.
It’s not plastic surgery, it is Bells Palsy. I feel slightly ashamed now at wondering what happened, but her ability to convey emotion on the level of an actor has been hampered, in my opinion. I don’t watch actors act to realise they are acting but to be engrossed in a story where I don’t think about things like this.
All in all, I am going to rewatch the film with this in mind. I do think the film picks up after a bit, but the mystery of this needed to be solved for me (having watched her career). It’s good for other viewers that know her career to be aware of this as well.

I wish I could upvote this +50 Thx for the insight and your consideration. It’s lovely to see someone be curious and courteous about a wonderful actress, and amazingly discover her Bells Palsy. That had to be hell fulfilling her acting contract with this sudden onset afliction. Bravo

This is what happens when you decimate an education system. After we solve viruses and climate change, we will still be left with stupid.
Absolutely, our educational system needs to get in gear. Just think in a decade what our workforce ‘could be’ if we leaned heavily into education, job training, forest and infrastructure development/mgmt, etc. Make options available for people to respond and help themselves and each other out of this mess.
