Well, that was worth the wait.

That’s not a cartoon for the kids, nope… I like it, my only problem is the head on omni-man - he looks like J. Jonah Jameson on steroids.
My brothers STOCK Cadillac CTSV has the same engine and transmission as his Corvette and they will both hit 203 miles per hour today. Look it up !
It also weight 7600 lbs. That’s almost twice the weight of a C8. So, theoretically, if your transmission has 7-9 gears, you could hit 203. But it would take you a half hour to wind out the transmission. 😂 Stock Escalade… So, by this logic, if I put the drivetrain out of a Bugatti Chiron in a milsurp T72 tank it’ll go 261 MPH and do 9.4 second quarter miles, right?
Is it just me or do the CG/animated Resident Evil films tend to have a bit more depth and substance than the shoot-em-up live-action ones? I loved Mila’s franchise but it was just fun, mindless gratuity. The CG/animated films were more in line with the games in that they were really engaging and had a complex story to tell. This Netflix series has been no different. The rendering quality is approaching photorealistic and the storyline is compelling. What a boon that this is a series and not just a 1.5 hour standalone film. And, as always, kudos to the uploaders! I found these 55 minutes after they dropped (and I bet they were here before that). That’s crazy fast.
Renewed for a 9th season, and it is public news that Megan Boone, (Liz), is leaving after this season..I wonder how she will go out..!!!!…????
Fun fact: The names of the last 2 episodes of this season mean, “Beginning” and “End,” respectively. I, too, wonder how Liz will go out. Will she disappear into the woodwork or is that gut wound she currently has fatal? I also wonder how the series will end. They’re down to 3 original cast members after Boone leaves and Spader’s character is supposed to be terminally ill. Run For Your Life managed 86 episodes over the course of 3 seasons from 1965 to 1968 and Ben Gazzara’s character was terminally ill from episode one and told he had 9-18 months to live! When the storytelling is good it’s easy for us to suspend our disbelief. But NBC eventually had enough and canned the show with the main character still very much alive. Hopefully this doesn’t degenerate like Two and 1/2 Men (2003-2015) did after they killed off Sheen’s character and stays as good as it’s been. They definitely need to start planning a satisfying ending now, though. NBC loves cancelling stuff. That it made it 9 seasons is kinda miraculous.
so for five years i have thought he was actually her mother. after tonight I think I may actually have been correct. Dad is dead but he loves her like only a parent would. then they show the plastic surgery and they kick off the song this is a mans world. ha ha maybe I am not crazy. and now we all know why they dedicated so much of the last seasons to her. She did it all for her daughter.
Solid Movie 8/10 only thing I didn’t like was them changing Taskmaster back story and and a sex change. Other then that solid movie.
That was Iron Maiden. lol I refuse to call her Taskmaster. It didn’t even look like Taskmaster. Disney’s gonna have to retcon it later like Fox did with X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
O.K., that just made me want to watch this, stashing it for later today. Saw Jenson was in this, and right away got interested, have been wondering what he’s been up to since Supernatural ended. Sounds like this was pretty good. Too bad there is a second part we have to wait for, getting to where I don’t like any sort of cliff hanger stuff, lot of times they don’t follow up anymore.
It’ll be out next month so the wait won’t be terrible. And, honestly, 9 times outta 10, the D.C. animated films are better than their live-action counterparts. Also, Jensen will be in next season of The Boys on Amazon Prime playing a character called Soldier Boy. That’ll be out later this year.
The thing I love about these Marvel shows—and they’ve been doing it since Luke Cage—is they usually find a way to slip the character’s original Earth 616 costume into the story at least once.
The first episode is fun. I like the Robot Chicken (stop motion dolls) approach to the animation. It was cool seeing all of those guns from 90s Kenner Marvel (mostly X-Men) action figures, too. But that derivative nature is a shade of things to come. This show is, unfortunately, a slip `n slide into mediocrity that pretty blatantly rips its ideas off of other more or less successful shows like Son of Zorn (2016) and Family Guy. By episode 4 I’d lost my stomach for it. And that’s crazy considering the effort they put into casting voices for it. But maybe that’s where all the money Disney gave them went? Nathan Fillion doesn’t come cheap—he’s the Bruce Campbell of the 21st Century.
You know I thought I would be, but I’m actually I’m not mad AT THE THOUGHT OF CANCELLING THIS NOW..think it’s because of how did they inserted Keen so much. It backfired with the viewers, or at least with me. I’m still a top fan of Red and plan on binging Boston Legal, but because of the aforemention-I’m pretty much over it. Think I really didn’t know that for sure until I read your post. This is even after I read that it’s being renewed without her (I wasn’t jumping for relief).
Yeah, she is the axle on which this show spins. It was originally all about her. But I have faith in James Spader like I have faith in the James Bond franchise. He’s an awesome actor and also now an executive producer on this show. It’s been “so far, so good” for the most part and there’s a lot to wrap up. I’m hoping, for the sake of the show’s integrity and Spader’s sterling legacy, that they won’t milk this and Season 9 will end it.
BTW, Boston Legal is literally my favorite show ever. It also ended well and when it was supposed to. 😁
These are only ever as good as the cast of voice actors and this has a solid cast. As someone else pointed out, the animation is top-notch and everything looks great. FDR looks JUST LIKE FDR. And this movie had just about everything—even a kaijuu! I was a little disappointed that there was no dieselpunk iteration of Batman in this alternate universe but I guess you can’t have everything, right? This was every bit as fun as Superman: Red Son (2020) was.
I was more than a little concerned when AT&T took over Time-Warner and sent corporate goons to DC HQ in New York to unceremoniously sack just about everyone in the building. The future of the DC cinematic and animated universes seemed really uncertain. But, credit where credit’s due, the kickass animated films continue to roll out uninterrupted (plus they renewed Harley Quinn for another season on HBO MAX!). And that’s good because it’s where DC has always had a leg-up on Marvel. Marvel’s animated movies aren’t terrible but they’re not as good as the big budget MCU live-action films made with all that Disney mulah.
Just finished Episode 2 (Movie 2?) and this is SO GOOD. I can’t wait for the conclusion. But after I watch it, I’ll be sad it’s over. Now that Netflix has licensing I’m hoping they’ll do more Fear Street stuff.
BEST SHOW OF ALL TIME
Until mid-season 7, yeah. Prepare yourself for disappointment if this is your first watch through. I’d hate to see anyone’s heart get broken like mine was.
It seems like a good balance of drama, comedy and absurdity. I’d give this 4 and 1/2 stars if I could—at least for the handful of episodes I’d watched thus far. Hopefully I don’t get burned for writing this later on because the production value slumps or they get a new writer. lol [5/19] I’m editing this to say I’m on Season 4 now and my initial impression still holds. Also, I love that Primewire remembers my place for me indefinitely. Sometimes I don’t!
just noticed…ENDED!!! Really?! Someone should hang for this!
Hang the entire production staff. They started out with a great show and a great cast and, season by season, episode by episode, they sent it circling the bowl.
Never read any RL Stine books but I thought they were kids books. This is not kid material. Anyways the first one was almost two hours long so be ready to ride the rollercoaster. I liked it and really anticipating the next episodes.
The Fear Street books were sorta for a teen/young adult audience that was predominantly female. After that series he went on to write adult fiction (to a good bit of critical acclaim). Cool to see this property get developed into something worthwhile.
It was after the series, technically it was kinda in the middle of the whole thing. This series started as a normal release but then they’d skip a year before a season, do short seasons, or even nothing at all haha I started watching this on Saturday mornings after the new adventures of batman and superman ended. Useless fact of the day, Primewire is the ONLY place you can find ALL of the old episodes from every series. If you haven’t watched this yet you should!!! It’s worth a watch I thought
I have a friend who is a huge fan of this series. He recently made the comment to me that the series on HBO MAX is missing episodes and some aren’t even in order.
Animation really nice. Classic Barry!
When he said, “Right, I saw that movie,” I gigglesnorted.
💯! This is the first series, in a long long while, that made me change my (at the time) bad attitude about stuff on the ‘tube’. And now that it’s here, you can binge watch it, commercial free…
It’s been said we’re living in a “golden age of television.” I feel like, in a big way, this is one of the TV series that helped kick that off. It’s a great series choc full ‘o feels.
Jensen Ackles as Batman? Yes. I wish they’d have cast him for the live-action movie instead of Pattinson. That’d be pretty boss. And Troy Baker’s Joker is indistinguishable from Mark Hamill’s. It’s crazy. I’m actually GLAD I didn’t already read the 13 part mini-series that D.C. did which this is based offa. Plenty of plot twists in this to keep you guessing. Can’t wait for Part 2!
My patience hasn’t been so thoroughly tested by a film since Scott Pilgrim! 2/3 of the way through you wonder if you’re gonna finish watching. 3/4 of the way through the plot is just gone and the actors are doing whatever. When will Hollywood realize the fast way to eff up a Monster vs. Monster movie is to have a bunch of people around doing crap the audience doesn’t give a damn about?
Fun thing about these Japanese strat clones is they’re way better in terms of build and sound quality than a lot of things actually made by (post-CBS) Fender and anything in their Squire line. As a result they became quite popular and sought after in the Grunge era and pawn shops across America were scoured clean. The Tokai featured in this episode is worth around $600-800, conservatively.
true… but did the Butterfinger ads have post-credit scenes??
In that department there’s no competition. These post-credit scenes had post-credit scenes. 🤣🤣🤣
yeah… Taskmaster is my favorite character in marvel, and i’m with you on that…. I absolutely REFUSE to call that abomination of an mcu character Taskmaster
This could really screw things up for Tasky appearing in a Deadpool film unless Reynolds is the one to retcon it and they actually let him. Like, seriously, Iron maiden is a legit character, why not just call Melina that? Why does Earth-19999 have to deviate from Earth-616 so much? This woulda been a GREAT movie otherwise.
yes, very witty and keeps you on the edge all along.
This is a pretty great show and I totally see the comparison to Get Shorty (for which I’m waiting with baited breath to get renewed). Also, I didn’t know Australia had their own Steve Buscemi. 😁
First and foremost, a thousand Thank Yous to the uploader! I’ve longed to see this particular documentary since I became aware of its existence about a decade ago but could never find a copy. Everything Simcha Jacobovici does is always mired in controversy but, given the topic and the fact that none other than James Cameron (Titanic, true Lies) produced it, this documentary really put him on the map. The thing I like about Simcha’s work is that he sets aside religious and dogmatic implications and focuses on the facts and historicity of the subjects he’s documenting. But the reason I like him is the same reason he’s so controversial to many individuals and groups. Like all of his work he makes an effort to present both sides of the argument and doesn’t shy away from documenting any resistance he encounters during his investigation of the topic. As presented, the evidence is really compelling and gives you a lot to think about.
Can confirm, via Google, The Tenderloin is real and I’m weak AF right now. Also, there’s not 1 but 3 Hosay Johnsons on FB, some Hosey Johnsons, a Hozay Johnson…
He plays a hobo armed with a shotgun. How can that fail as a movie premise?
Damn, that went by too fast.
Yeah, so much going on it seemed like it was 20 minutes long. lol Things are getting real interesting.
Yeah it better still be Loki or Immortus/Kang but not a cross of Immortus/Loki. That would be terrible. HAHA! Not an FF fan huh? They could be an amazing property if in the right hands, but they have been ruined so far by incompetence and bad casting. About the only actor that did his character justice was Evans as the Human Torch in the first couple movies. But if you’re judging them on the movies and cartoons then I see your point, but they can be much much better if done correctly.
Great movie for the kids, not saying its bad only that adults are gonna pick up on mistakes kids wont. Like how much would it cost to rebuild/replace all those buildings and the tech? I don’ think Elon, Jeff and Bruce Wayne combined could afford that lol
Edit: Just one more thing tho. If you were in a posh restaurant at the top of a skyscraper and saw Godzilla coming, Are you really gonna finish your meal lol
Bruce Wayne is only worth $9.2 Billion. Crazy, right? That’s nothing compared to Bezos’ $185 billion. Hell, Oprah is worth about $3.5 billion. It makes me sad he’s so poor. Why don’t they write him richer?
Liz will be around but not as a series regular. Her story will be concluded but she will still live. For sure another season, but supposedly producers want to finish at 10 seasons(who knows if this will happen)
As long as they can pull it off I’ll keep watching. It’s been a hell of a ride thus far. I just hope producers are focusing on the storytelling rather than, “More Episodes=More Money”.
I enjoyed that, it had a look and flavour of old-fashioned batman cartoons. There is an after credit scene - and part 2 is 27th July.
See, I missed the after-cred. scene. lol We’re all scratching each other’s backs here.
Shame, I started watching and got annoyed by Keen then confused (idky I’ve watched every ep-sometimes 2xs), that I had to stop. I will have to attempt it again. I actually think I stopped completely or fast forwarded for last episode and never came back (SMH). I just hate that it’s forcing to watch Keen, but what can I do-I love this darn show! LOL
For a while this season I thought she was going nuts or had some kind of head injury because of the hallucinations and such. Then she went on vacation from the show for a while there. Abandoned plot line or did I miss something? I wonder if she’s quitting because the writers are having her pull a Daenerys Targaryen this season and she’s not feeling it.
Unfortunately, no links as yet, but Charlie Murphy (who I hadnt heard of, until I watched Chappelles Show), is hilarious, and just as funny as his big bro Eddie. Its a shame that Charlie Died in 2017 of Leukemia (yes that was spelled wrong, I am a Movie commentor, not a spelling bee champ). His stories of Rick James and Prince are hilarious-and apparently true!
He did a lot of work for/with his brother and helped write a lot of material. Like, ever see Vampire in Brooklyn? Charlie had a lot of input into the story and helped draft the screenplay. He gets top billing in the credits over the other dudes. I wanna say it’s their finest work but I’m a horror movie buff so I’m gonna be biased. But, yeah, I don’t think a lot of people would even know who the guy was if not for the Chappelle Show.
Okay they pretty much lifted this plot directly off Family Guy and that’s lazy.
What made it all worthwhile was the sign McBane was holding up. Priceless.
