This is what I don’t understand. As a Trump supporter, how does everyone not feel lied to? He made so many promises in his 2016 campaign, that he still hasn’t made good on.

Repeal and replace Obamacare: No progress
A border wall paid for by Mexico: Not even close
Bringing Troops Home: Nope
Cutting Trade Deals with Other Countries: Nope
Ban on All Muslims entering the Country: Nope
Ending the Obama Cuba Thaw: Nope
Naming China as a Currency Manipulator: He did it, then reversed it.
Clearing the National Debt: Nope, it’s even bigger now.
Deporting all illegal immigrants: No Progress
Rebuilding the Countries Infrastructure: No Progress
Leaving NATO: Abandoned
The Approval of Torture: Abandoned
The Prosecution of Hillary Clinton: No Progress, likely abandoned

These aren’t my opinions, these are facts. None of these campaign promises were met. Why should I believe four more years is the answer :(

All I’m going to say is I really love how the voting of comments here is being controlled to the point where I can’t upvote a comment. I was allowed one, ONE lousy upvote. Didn’t even try and downvote anyone. But I guess if one tries to upvote comments that are unpopular on a liberal site as they tend to go against the grain, that’s not allowed. In the late 1960’s and early 70’s, the media was full of dire warnings that pollution was leading us into an imminent ice age. They were CERTAIN of it. So you might want to consider how important it is that most people believe that climate change is a threat. Climate DOES change…just not usually in the way that we predict. I would like a cleaner world. I would also like to see everyone be productively employed. Fed. And out of poverty.

This is indicative of the current intelligence level in Hollywood, and America. It makes “Gilligan’s Island look like a National Geographic documentary.

I thought I would watch an episode just to see why the comments on it are so far apart. My mistake. A lot of scatological, and pus references. Foul language and aberrant ideas. Homocidal. Is this adult animation the result of Coronavirus isolation? Too much time alone with one’s unfiltered thoughts transfered to video? I ended up watching two episodes to see if it was going to get any better. Again, my mistake. This is for the emotionally arrested.

I was pleasently surpised by this series. It has more depth, and introspection than most shows that have examined the changing American family and it’s dynamics. Pamela Adlon is great, but so are her daughters. It’s the subtleness that I enjoy the most. The word, the glance, the silence after a scene, action,or statement. But the intent still being understood. VERY well written, and flying below the radar on most people’s minds. Underappreciated. I’m happy to see season four.
