Meh, the who thing just seemed forced, low/energy, almost depressing. 2.5/5 for me.

What a great film. Great plot, great acting. Can’t believe I’d never heard of this one before. Highly recommend.
Ed Wynn was just the absolute best. The kind of guy I would have really liked to know personally.
So sad that this show was canceled. It is so well written, funny, quirky, and fun. I’ve added it to my favourites list. Why do they keep cancelling shows of such high caliber, like this?
Excellent series with great acting, and great historical accuracy and period costuming. If only they had chosen to not use that horrendous screech-singing all the time. It is unbearable.
I loved the. 80s 8-bit intro with the “woo-woo” technology listed, which is so normal for us now.
I really wanted to like this series, but the acting is amateur and the storyline and dialogue are just too boring and too slow.
A lot of people are comparing this to Fringe, and I have to agree. Except while Fringe has comedic relief with Walter, this show has none, and tends to focus more on the gentler emotional aspects of humanity and interpersonal relations. Personally, Iike the “no-name” actors in this, because it makes it more realistic for me. Of course, the show was cancelled, as the best ones usually are. What a shame. I guess Big Brother Season 437 is more important to viewers.
didn’t you suggest water cannon a few days ago before you edited your comment? anywho… I would imagine they won’t do powder or smoke for the sake of the livestock there and other wild animals. get either of them in your lungs and you’re buggered. I DO like the water cannon idea though! :D
The water cannon idea wasn’t mine, but I’d go with that too. Another idea would be dried ice, which doesn’t pollute. Like they use in fog machines.
The actual name of this movie is “The Philadelphia Experiment Reactivated” and is a sequel to the 1984 film with Michael Pare´.
Nearly perfect. The humor could have been better, but the little girl did steal the show. I think it would have been better with older actors, instead of such young kids, but maybe they’ll come back stronger in a sequel (hint hint)? Reminded me more of a cross between Goonies and GB. All in all, it was great. 4.5/5.
3/5 stars (I’m being generous). I found it emotionally overwrought and perhaps believable or shocking for GenZ kids who have never known a world without technology. The film was like OMG I can’t access my iPad videos! The internet isn’t working! I’m so bored and life is meaningless now! Oh, the horror! This film had potential to do something meaningful and perhaps teach a lesson about the importance of life, family, loved-ones, without non-stop tech, but it completely failed.
I really don’t understand why they continually avoid doing the most obvious test: dropping powder from above over the triangle, or burning a big smokey fire from below and seeing what the powder and/or smoke do.
I want to like this show, but the acting is so amateurish, unnecessarily emotional, and wooden. The plot has potential but the terrible acting is ruining any chance the show had to go anywhere.
Very high quality production, considering it’s a fan-film. Had me engrossed the whole time.
Not complaining, but I notice this more and more, that UK, Irish, or Aussie actors are used to portray Americans in films. Does someone know about the film industry and can explain this? Are there not enough American actors? Are they going for a certain “look”? I just find it odd.
A whole repeated sequence. I can barely follow this terrible writing.
This was honestly some great acting on the part of McKay (David Hewlett). Best I’ve seen him do in the series so far. And I really don’t like his character (who does, really?). However, I almost felt sorry for him now.
Making the character of Matthew autistic was certainly an unexpected quirk of the series. It works though and makes him more endearing. All in all a good series so far. I was afraid the series might be another one of those “yuckin’ it up with my ol’ buddy Jesus” things, but they show reverence while also showing Jesus as very personable and human, dealing with the same struggles we do, and not just “above it all”. Bravo!
The film was intentionally filmed in the original languages of the day, Latin and Aramaic. There is no “English version”.
By far, one of the creepiest CSI episodes ever. I remember this particular one 17 years after it aired.
It is over 1000 km from Kiev to Novgorod. It would take over a month to walk that far, but they make it look like its just around the corner.
I really don’t understand this. There are a million deep caves all along the Appalachians. They could have just gone down in one of them and saved a lot of trouble.
Decent low-budget film that probably won’t ever get much exposure, which is too bad, because there should be more films of this cerebral caliber. That being said, I’m not sure why they chose to use two British actors for lead roles. I mean you could still hear their British accents which was a bit jarring. Is there a shortage of American actors?
Just awful. Incredibly lame writing with confusing and boring plot. Don’t waste your time.
That’s what I should’ve done! Would’ve saved myself the agony of watching that. Why are there no good films on at the moment?
Terrible acting, punctuated by 45 minutes of non-stop screaming, crying, and hyperventilating. Not the best in this series.
The chess scene is priceless classy cinema. No one does seduction like Faye Dunaway. It even turned Steve McQueen into a little schoolboy.
The zombie orchestra was hilarious! That’s some great humor! Not enough of that in these walking dead shows.
Considering this was a low budget fan-film, it was surprisingly good and filled in some blanks that were left out of the LoTR films.
how much minutes of this show are NOT KI?or is it rather seconds?
the nun wearing an old russian cold-coat?
All the stories have been told
Of kings and days of old
But there’s no England now
All the wars that were won and lost
Somehow don’t seem to matter very much anymore
Unfortunately the dialogue subtitles are only in Swedish. I tried uploading the subtitles but it doesn’t work.
Kindergarten theology and really bad acting, but the premise was unique and pretty entertaining in the end.
What a great movie and a great surprise find. I wish they’d made a TV series out of it afterwards.
Sadly, most people will probably think Russia is still like this, even 30 years after the fall of the Soviet Union. Hahahaha!
This one isn’t for kids but it has become one of my holiday favorites.
i hadn’t seen this movie since it came out in the theaters. I forgot how fun it is.
The should rename the film “No Time to Retire”.
