As someone old enough to know and appreciate the first 3 movies, and who like many others of my generation were shattered at how #3 ended. The moment I heard about the 4th I’ve been looking forward to seeing what they were gonna do. And what did that wait and anticipation get me?
THIS disappointing mess.
Entertainment wise it was ‘ok’ at best, story wise it was ‘meh’. Yeah, it was nostalgic to see Keanu and Carrie-Anne back in action, but come on. Was it a movie that needed to me be made? NO IT WAS NOT!
The only things that kept me watching were Jessica Henwick and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, because they are both AMAZING. The rest of the cast were a bunch of ‘Netflix Rejects’. (Yeah, “technically” Henwick is a ‘Netflix Rejects’ too, but that girl is a total bad ass.)
They should have just left well enough alone instead of disgracing that incredible legacy with this pointless nonsense.

On the other hand, the younger ones who don’t know the awesomeness of the first 3 movies, might enjoy this.

I had high hope of this, pretty decent cast, Jared Padalecki may not be the best actor in the world, but he’s not the worst either. Coming off of the success of Supernatural to this, is very disappointing.
Most “re-makes” keep some resemblance of the original show and just give it an updated twist.
Magnum P.I., MacGyver, S.W.A.T., Hawaii Five-0 are perfect examples of “re-makes” done RIGHT. They are different but still familiar, they stay fairly true to the original and they are enjoyable.
This on the other hand, feels like they took the original action packed, crime fighting, Walker, Texas Ranger, drop kicked it in the head, spat on it and tossed it into a bottomless pit. Then made this crappy, generic, family drama. 2 episodes in and it is just dreadful, I will not be trying a 3rd episode.

Well, it was nostalgic at least.
At some points it did pulled on the heart strings a bit.
Not the best movie, but also not the worst.
Guess what I am saying is, if you’re an 80’s kid like me, meh, don’t expect much more than nostalgia. If you’re new to Ghostbusting, then you might find it enjoyable.

the movie was amazing and captrued you from start to finsh. TV show is in no way shape or form even close to being good. i had to stop watching this show after 10 or so minutes.

Super cast, great action, stunning visual effects.
However, horroble writing made this movie really bad.

ya know I kinda did like the 1st season of this show. not the best show out there, the acting is not so good, the writing is off, but the storyline itself keep me watching. however….. I found it impossible to even finish the 1st episode of the 2nd season. I do not understand how something that was already kinda bad could come back for a 2nd season and be 100 times worst. the sad part is most of the main cast are known faces who have been in other shows and done very well. so the cast themselvess may not be the ones to blame for this trainwreck.

I see the potential for spin off which I’d really love to see the Khalils’ even if they were by themselves. I do wonder if that person at the end, if they’ve tried guillotine-like style would they successful…PLease, please do the Khalils’ that’ll be so lit!

A slow, kinda dull start, but once you stick with it, it does picks up. It turned out to be pretty good. Not as good as The White Queen if you compare it, but it is good. I do strongly suggest you watch The White Queen BEFORE watching this and The Spanish Princess is a MUST watch after.

This show is Absolute PERFECTION. Spectacular cast. Breathtaking scenery.Fantastic writing and story. It grabs you from the moment it begins and keeps hold till the very end.

with this cast list i had big expectations fot this…. yeah…. i tried, i really really did tried… but after 20-30 minutes of pure suffering, i had to save myself and stop watching. extremely disappointed.

Been a fan of this since day one, but I got to say, so far 3 episodes in and season 3 is kinda ‘blah’. Not at all on the same level as season 1 & 2. Fingers crossed the rest of the season will be better.

I am a fan of Elodie Yung, she is a good actress. I was excited to see her get her own show. That being said…. This is one of those shows that makes you wonder.. Why?
Why is this show even a thing? Why did they take an idea that could have acctually been good and truned it into this rubbish? Why did Elodie Yung even agree to be in mess? Very disapointing.

You never realize how good a 90’s movie is until someone remakes it and monumentally mess it up.
My question is, how is it even possible that a movie with a ‘mostly’ talented cast, who can ACTUALLY fight without stunt doubles and with so much potential of being awesome, be this BAD?
At some points it felt like the storyline and dialog were written by a bunch of 12-year-olds who all had different ideas of what the movie should be about, I mean it was actually painful to watch.
Not even gonna touch the bad acting from some of the cast, I swear some of these actors were just there to collect a paycheck.
But that’s my PERSONAL OPINION, others may like it. Good Luck.

I’m still kinda on the fence with this one, even after watch all 8 ep. On one hand the storyline is pretty ‘ok’ and I’m curious to see what happens next. On the other hand, it’s not as good as I was hoping it would be. But I guess to be fair, no Viking spinoff would ever be as good as the OG. I honesty find that the guys in this are “pretty boys” LOL nothing like the rough and tough manly men in the OG. The backstory timelines seems a bit ‘off’ to me, or maybe I have just forgotten some of the OG Timelines.
I guess if you watch this without ever seeing the OG Vikings, it won’t to that bad. But if you are a fan of the OG Vikings, you will be a tad disappointed in this spinoff. Let’s see how the rest of the season goes, hopefully it gets better.

This show was really, really, really, GOOD. However, that very last, absolute final episode was like, ‘wait, what?’ and DONE… Why would you ruin a perfectly good show with such a half done, half hearted, pointless and nonsense ending? Why ADD unrelated storylines and characters to the main ones and then NEVRER show how the ‘new’ stuff ends up? Don’t make no sense. Very disappointing.

Well, I’m still on the fence on this one. Good cast, decent action scenes and interesting storyline. However, there is still something ‘off’ about it. It might be because it’s a bit ‘corny’ or that they make a big thing out of small activities or the overly dramatic music. But I will keep watching just for the wonderful cast with my fingers crossed that it gets better in time.

mind-numbingly horribly bad. I was actually looking forward to this. But 5 minutes in, they cured me of that excitement.

Wonderful movie, very fun to watch and the music is awesome. but i have to ask.. how come “Aneurin Barnard” is not listed in the cast list?
