Who thinks of this stuff? This is about as twisted as anything ever done.
That may be one of the most Hilarious fight scenes in all of television history. This entire series is art gone wild, and writers on “something”.

Malcolm’s claim to fame.. He fired the Sex Pistols only real songwriter, Glen Matlock, and replaced him with the junkie Sid Vicious. They only wrote two songs after that. Only way I got through it was 1.5X speed.
This is GREAT so far. Lee Pace is bigger than life. The special effects are top end, so watch it with the highest definition you can. I was worried it would disappoint, but it’s just great.
It’s a joke… WORST THEN THE FIRST ONE!
I think it was funnier than the first one. It’s not “better” than the first one, it didn’t make any sense. I laughed at the Shark, but none of the other stuff (expecially HQ) was funny. I think she (Robbie) writes her own lines, I don’t like her portrayal, NY/NJ jewish whiney princess got old in the first movie. It reminds me of the old Sony marvel movies, you forget them right after you watch them.
Yeah Baby! This is exactly the stories I remember from the What If? comics. Dr. Strange at his best/worst! The voices, the script and the ending, this is the best episode so far! I doubt it can get any better, but Who Knows? :)
The first episode was great. Then it slowly got lame, I thought episode 3 was the worst.
This episode is the worst of the bunch.
The first 30 minutes was relevent 4 episodes ago, but complete waste of time now. 30 minutes of story that is wasted by showing it now, instead of in the beginning. I completely blame the directors for this wasted opportunity. They might have editted it, but I bet they have never watched it.
Finally some introspection for everyone! They blow the budget on the extras, there are people everywhere, so no money for the special effects, they looked like “Greatest American Hero” sfx. Not the best episode, but this show is more artistic than just about anything else coming out. Great news on Season 4.
A great 3 stories. Not quite Hollywood production values, but its better than a B movie, its a top end television quality. Karen Black does some great acting, until she’s being chased, then it gets a bit cheesy. I had school friends who would share the inside joke of haing seen the third story on late night TV, both as scary and silly. One kid tried to replicate the doll in art class. Great stuff!
“A crew cut down the trees earlier in the summer.” I really had no idea they still allowed clearcuts on vancouver island. I thought it was banned? Ratings on this show aren’t good, it’s hard to sympathise with someone whose last financial gamble in life is to buy $1.5 Million worth of trees that are older than he is, and cut them down. It wouldn’t surprise me if this show causes the BC governement some trouble.
Yeah I like the show, I like its structure. It’s ok if you don’t like one commentator, they have others. BUT if you don’t like the narrator, it can be difficult.
Somewhere in this movie is a great great story, but they failed to bring the story into a coherent movie. I would love to see the same story by a different director.
Wow, this got WEIRD, and artistic. This reminds me of the Marvel show, LEGION now. It’s hard to follow the story, but maybe it’s meant to be hard?
BLAH! It wasn’t funny, it was irritating. Egoistic as a comedy angle, works for Sheldon, not for MODOK. How did Patton Oswalt fall for this one?
So keep your house brand new, neat and clean and it just might not burn if it’s the exact right distance from an atomic blast. It that a young Walter Cronkite narrating?
This is great stuff.
This is the third What If? I had to rewatch. Pay attention to the background characters and watch it with subtitles, it’s very packed. I can imagine sending an editted version to mom!
The problem is the show is only weekly, and things are moving so much faster.
Documentary (of someone’s mind) with hypnotic imagery and a decent British narrator. Lacking in truthiness.
I think it was written by a schizophrenic with average education.
It could have been done better, but I don’t think this is the last, somehow. Some parts are hard to take or even understand. His life really isn’t that different from any transient worker/military. He tries to communicate a nice forward perspective.
Nice story writing so far, I love it. Of course it’s not quite as intense as clone wars, and the constant clowning by Wrecker will get old quickly, but they really are good characters. Top notch so far.
This show earned a single emmy, it was for Best Performance by a Guest Actor, John Goodman as the Nevada judge in these two episodes.
Jumbles around. It’s heavy on lessons, not so much on historical accounts. Wasn’t what I expected, but if you are Buddhist, I think you will like it.
The only way to watch this show, you have to find a link that allows you to play at 1.25x or even 1.5x speed. It’s very slow.
There is nothing wrong with cutting down trees if they are replanted.
I have done both, logged for few years, planted a few seasons, 1 area I planted has been harvested twice since I was a kid and is ready for a 3rd harvest. Better than building with imported product or plastics…
clearcutting the side of a mountain that is all rock. Those trees aren’t coming back soon, and if you have treeplanted, you know all the trees around the clearcut are doomed to weather and exposure. I didn’t know clearcut was still allowed. Sneaky they don’t show you the clearcutting happening, that would have started the show in an honest way. I already empathise for the rookie on the show, he didn’t think ahead when he signed on and will find out what it means to be a “famous” logger.
This was painful. The history shows I have watched all explain how the whole “King Arthur” thing is a story by a monk written around 1000 AD or so. It’s a great story, so another monk wrote another version in 1300’s. And now we have modern history researchers trying to prove this fictional character must exist, because it’s such a great story.
If the story is that romantic and apealling, then much like Dante’s Inferno, even though it was all made up, modern people insist its actual truth.
Its a 16:9 film someone cropped to 4:3. So the sides are black bars, and its missing a LOT of picture, lettering, etc. Basically a useless transcode of the film too cropped. Is it possible to get a different source on it?
Well the commentators and writers have their opinion. I think opinions of people who met Teddy or competed with him would be more interesting. It’s very bias, almost worship.
a very big disappointment. they cant win them all because this sucked so bad.
Thank you, I noticed @ Imdb the reviews are pretty negative. Bad writing can kill the best production values.
Great episode, you can watch it a few times to catch it all. Seeing an emotional Watcher is, different. This could easily have been two episodes showing all the battles. The voice cast was excellent, as always.
Normally I really go for shows about history and archeology, but the principal characters are not “telegenic”, they don’t interact with the camera well.
Of all the Star Trek, this crew is the least diciplined, more like a Pirate ship. People disobey direct orders regularly, are never reprimanded. The crew do things without permission or informing anyone. It makes for exciting TV.
The description was 100% correct. It has everything described and is up to date (pre-pandemic), and worth watching right to the end. Top end as musical docus go.
How the heck did Fury entrust Hill with “the Beeper” . He would have given it to Coulson way before Hill. But Coulson wouldn’t recognise Frigga as the solution, so it was good for the story.
The first few episodes are pretty good. As it get more dramatic, it gets worse and worse. By episode 12 it makes no sense, because the writing becomes crap.
Noone would put up with the abuse that every new character brings to the show. A doctor who perpetually lies, a lawyer who interrupts the most crucial work to flirt, a air force “comfort” officer who only instills rage and abuse. Mathew Perry playing his drug habits out in a show. I hope Perry didn’t write this, because none of these people are real. At episode 3 I wanted more, at episode 12 I should have given up.
Sorry Lance, I tried so hard, but halfway through part 1 you maxed my tolerance. You deserve ignorance, not tolerance or understanding.
The jealousy and vindictiveness of small, petty men, to this day, have meaningful consequences with their impact on society. It’s unfortunate and sad that people would rather believe the one with the loudest voice, deceitful as it may be.
Antonio Banderas gives an excellent performance in this profound film about one of the great discoveries of the age and has since been declared a World Heritage Site.
“Greatest discoveries of the age”….. you piqued my interest so I watched it and I am unconvinced that the caves represent anything. For the reasons you illustrate the caves are just a debate point, hardly anything “great”. I can’t see anything in these caves that change the world. Our history is whatever the loudest voices shouting say it is. I doubt we interpret the caves properly, even today.
Bad copy. Takes 15 minutes to load (no key index) and when it plays, its audio only, no video.
I checked the Version 1 mixdrop and it works fine for me.
Version 2 abcvideo.cc has always given me trouble so I can’t verify if it works or not.
Click on ‘Report Link’ above next to the name of the host you chose and someone will remove or fix it.
Affirmative. I tried a different browser and it came through ok on the mixdrop. Should have tried that first before commenting :/
Dope will get you through times of no money, better than money will get you through times of no dope!
